xD hey.. er.. bye!
Amena: *Stops in pain, and clutches #12's hand, then looks at the cottage and starts to run back to it.*
#10 and #11 in the backroom wake from their dreams and cling to one another, terrified of the horrible nightmare they seem to have shared. #12 is shaking; he grasps Amena's hand tightly and exclaims some confused mix of feelings, but quickly follows that with a fierce oath that he will make sure Amena (and the others) are all right.

...#13 just wobbles, his eyes glazing over, and flops limpy onto Junyi's foot.

#14 hangs onto Silver and Mocha, her eyes conveying an uncharacteristic forlornness. It's not the pain of the vision that hurts her... but... where is...?

...And she turns her head, and sees him.

Up the hill comes Tsukiba, carrying a little boy on his back. The latter emits a constant stream of nightmareish thoughts and feelings, shaped like demons and ghosts and sadistic claws, while the former is silent, churning with dark feelings. The painted "Water" on his forehead seems to be dripping... but it's a slightly different color from the character... and it might be someone's blood.

Tsukiba's hand on the cottage door is trembling.

Once inside, he eases the boy onto the ground, and immediately moves to go make some tea. The young Porcelain lies very still there, breathing quietly, those uneasy feelings swirling around him. Then, very slowly, they begin to fade, and he sits up, blinking at his surroundings with an exhausted look.

The painful visions that washed over the Porcelain, if traced carefully, could be followed to the single vision of this boy. He seems only frail and frightened now, but perhaps... this one might be able to See...

...From the traumatized look he has, it would probably be best if he stayed here overnight, anyway.
*blink*

*Looks at the newcomer, and then #13, and then the newcomer, and then #13 again*

......

*picks #13 up and gently sets him on the pile of duckies*
Amena: *Stops running and watches Tsukiba carry a strange new Porcelain up. As they get closer, Amena is feeling more and more scared then ever in her life. She doesn't know what to do to make the feeling go away, so she hides her face in #12's shoulder.*
Mocha once again, skids to a stop in front of the cottage, only to find that there's nothing wrong. stressed Apparently, Mocha had missed all the action. But at least Silver was safe, so...

Silver keeps his hold on #14, setting her down lightly before jumping off Mocha himself. He leads her into the cottage, wondering what could have happened... but he knows how to prioritize his business. He leads #14 to the couch so she can rest easy, keeping his thoughts to himself as he looks around for anything wrong.

...But he stops with #14, as he sees the new Porcelain. Silver tries to keep his hold on #14 if she needs him, but kneels to see #17. He smiles, extending a hand to him in welcome, along with pleasant and warm thoughts to rock him back in.

Silver keeps the black thoughts in the back of his mind for now.
#13 rolls around limply on the duckies. He's not dead, just somewhat unconscious. sweatdrop

Meanwhile, #14 holds Silver's hand, but refuses to be dumped off at the couch. She's no weaker than Silver. But she feels a little dizzy, and sits down on the floor, eyeing the newcomer.

#12 holds Amena close and and pulls her into the safety of the cottage, looking around to make sure everyone's all right. He sees the new boy, and feels faint traces of the terrible vision emanating from him. He looks up urgently at Tsukiba.

...Who brings a tray of teacups, full of a strange tea with an odd, magical scent. It's a calming substance, which should help the children deal with the shock of the experience. He shoves some at #12 and Amena, then rocks back on his heels and looks up at the humans.

...The boy did have a vision from a different time... but it was the past that he drew feelings from. A very terrible moment for his ancestors. Tsukiba looks over at the child soberly. The boy still looks wobbly, but as if he himself isn't sure what happened. Tsukiba closes his eyes and wipes his forehead on his sleeve. Even though it was a frightening projection, the children don't have to worry about any such calamity happening to them. ...Hopefully.
*sighs and picks #13 up, cradling him in her arms as she waits for him to wake up*
Amena: *Takes the tea shakily from Tsukiba and smiles weakly at him, then sits down, and leans against #12.*
Silver squeezes #14's hand reassuringly, sending along warm and coaxing thoughts along with it. He grins at #14, sending her any confirmation she needs. He won't leave her side.

Silver looks at #12 and Amena, waving them in, his warm aura emitting a larger radius to include them as well.

He then looks at the new boy, and pats his shoulder. Silver keeps a hand on #17's shoulder, hoping the smile is infectuous.

And Silver keeps this smile despite the aftershock of the vision #17 seemed to be the source of. He was sure he'd learn about it, and make sure learn not to fear it. He didn't like the vibrations it gave off.

Silver then looks at the teacups, and Tsukiba, for he has no more free hands due to #14 and #17. He tilts his head towards Tsukiba, asking what that was all about.
Fumei

Silver looks at #12 and Amena, waving them in, his warm aura emitting a larger radius to include them as well.

Amena: *Shakes her head no, but sends out a thank you thought to Silver. She's not quite sure how much closer she wants to get to #17 until she knows exactly what just happend.*
#12 sends fiercely reassuring thoughts to Amena, telling her that if any monsters come, he'll smash them! stressed Err... somehow...

Tsukiba looks at Silver, unsure of how to put it in terms the children will understand. He tells them, foremost, that nothing bad will happen to them. That they need not be afraid of that dream. That if they are still afraid, he is there to protect them.

Then he sighs a little, taking a little of the tea himself. He begins directing his thoughts mostly at the humans, who would better understand. ...According to what patchy and fictional history he knows, the ancient (perhaps only mythical) Porcelain used to keep children like him as Seers, and used their visions to predict what course of action would best suit them. But the children, unable to distinguish past and future from present, went completely insane.

If #17 doesn't learn to completely squash these abilities, he might lose his mind; and the source of a Porcelain's emotions and thoughts, which is all a Porcelain really is, is his mind...

#17 only wobbles gently from side to side.
Silver tilts his head to the other side, pondering the black thoughts in the back of his mind before listening to Tsukiba's explanation. It wasn't that he was afraid...

Just that it seemed like a threat. He didn't like not being able to make everyone happy. He wanted to help too. He tried to grab at Tsukiba's thoughts to the humans, trying to decipher it.

Then he gives up after a few 'grabs,' looking at #17. He gives #17 a good pat on the shoulder. ^_^ They'd be there for him anyway.
Looking over #17, Tsukiba wonders if he should give the boy some tranquilizer before bed, to keep him from dreaming something and scaring all the others or somesuch. But, he decides that he is too exhausted to See anything dangerous; he'd probably only have visions in a moment of extremely intense pain or emotion...

Tsukiba looks around at the children. ...If the ones who as of yet do not have humans are frightened, he'll sleep in the backroom with them, to make sure no bad feelings hurt them again. There isn't a nightmare that isn't scared of the mighty magic-blade Tsukiba! Trying to cheer them up a little, he sends the most thoroughly reassuring feelings he can muster.

He then picks up #17, who seems less in shock now and both more aware of his surroundings and more sleepy, and begins to carry him off. He hopes the humans will not be worried about returning with their children tomorrow, because #17 would probably benefit most from their company. But both #17 and Tsukiba need some rest... getting home was tiring...

#17 will need a devoted human to help him survive himself. But Tsukiba is quite sure that she can and will be.
