Appearance:

Kia now has blonde/gold hair, and dark brown eyes. She's still around 5.5"/5.6", curvy figure.
No physical marks at all, which may seem strange... but she's been like that since she had Nozomi. She still has Hoshi's star on her shoulder. It's a bit faded now.

She always lines her dark eyes with Kohl, and for special occasions, wears henna on her hands and feet.

Nyoka was connected to her at one point.

Single now.

Gender's not an issue. Just personality/stamina.

Magical Talents/Other:

These days, Kia's magical talents don't seem very obvious or amazing.

She's not psycic anymore, though she still has her extreme sensitivity to anything energy wise around that. She can't block things anymore, and she can't send messages/images/words/feelings. (Or anything along those lines.) Still can recieve, to a point, but can't send.

Kia's other half that was never really explored as a young girl, the Bennu half to do with fire, is still unexplored and untrained. But for the moment, she's able to touch or be in regular fire without being burnt. Her clothes aren't immune, nor anything else on her. Just her.

Her wings aren't strong. She can't fly with them yet, and she has been too busy as a young mother to think about it.

Bennu side is NOT explored yet IC. Details may change as they need to.

Hobbies:

Cooking, sewing/modifiying her own clothing, painting, dancing with swords, dancing, gardening, being awake for sunrise, stuff to do with makeup and hair stylying, home healing remidies, clubbing, sex (well, it IS fun!), working, doting on Tiegan and Ammon. Oh and making/repairing/restoring/buying/finding jewellery or gems. Or precious stones.
(Doesn't mean she's particually good at any of the above, but she loves it all the same. wink )

Purples, blues, golden yellows, oranges, reds. Rich colors. Also white.

Favorite Food:

Cheesecake!

Personality:

Kia's loving to her friends, always there with a cuddle or a hug. But because of her origion, she never really understands why exactly her friends find it hard to look or talk to her when she's wearing her ... most comfortable clothing. Which is usually along the lines of 'less is more!'

She's growing up fast now though, and getting lonely with her obligation as a young mother. Kia's still got a childish spark, and she probably will always have one, but she's finally discovering what it is to grow up. (Finally!)

Dislikes:

Being alone, or not having enough of a social life.

Worst foods:

Kia has a lot of trouble hating any food. She loves food.

Neith Kia

Relationship to Kia- Guardian and Momma. And Grandmomma to Kia's daughters.

A Half-Elf from North of Gaia, who's own physical body always seems to be changing as well. Neith generally is blonde with grey eyes, and always with a blue jewel in her forehead.
Neith is currently taking advantage of her freedom from her children, and is attempting to travel with her youngest- Aquene.

Concept.
The Duty of the Bennu, Ra's most highly regarded High Priestess and his 'light', was once a long treasured and closely guarded woman who served him alone. She was no ordinary Egyptian- born with the gift of the Bennu, able to light up Ra's path, restore faith in him, also sometimes known as his mother or his sister. She was a healer of sorts, one that would draw the sick and injured to the temple, one that kept a link between Ra and the common people of Egypt. The Pharaoh had no right to call upon the Bennu and was rarely allowed to see her.

The duties of the Bennu, along with the abilities that came with it, was usually passed genetically through the bloodlines. The High Priestess's first daughter, who would be raised separately, was kept hidden and raised as any other girl was, sometimes as a lower Priestess, sometimes not, and her line of mother-daughter would be the one to eventually birth the next Bennu. The Bennu was always born at a time when the faith in Ra was wavering, when the people were about to forget, or when a time of great war or sorrow would dim even Ra's light.

When the line was broken by a over ambitious Pharaoh it was left broken. The bloodline of the Bennu was irreplaceable- a girl may have done the duties but the abilities of the Bennu required specific genetics. Ra's influence faded away over time until, when the fa'e were born in the world, and things could be be done a little differently. The Bennu's heiress was instead a rather absent-minded and not quite as bright as the rest 'Fa'e' by the name of Kia. (Pronounced Kiya.)

Kia was born with the guidance of two mentors- the original Bennu and the one who had influenced a Pharaoh to create a great cult of Aten. The two remained with her, quiet as she grew up, then drowned out as she started to talk and show her personality. It didn't matter much- she wasn't expected to start to do her duties until she was a grown woman.

She shocked them both when she had twin girls, one naturally and one artificially, quickly starting the new chain of Bennu. Tiegan and Nozomi. The two who'd carry the duties in their bloodline, though it was more likely it would be in Tiegan's bloodline- Nozomi had her own duties, as would her children.

This triggered several things very quickly in Kia's body, bringing on a much faster awakening. She grew her wings which would burst into flames as the sun died, and would regrow as the sun was reborn, developed an immunity to fire, and started to heal those around her naturally. And, as she had to age from youth to adult, she found herself having to restore Ra from his half-dead state and then restore his cult.

She has woken now, as the Bennu, with the start of the regression of memories and with the start of her duties, and with the choice to either become the Bennu permanently, or to pass it along to a future daughter. Kia has only the very minor abilities of a Bennu- flight, fire immunity, light and minor healing and will not get stronger without training from the mentors.
