Midori. A girl about the age of sixteen. She went to an all girl school, and her life was literally like a hell in her eyes. The other girls just couldn't seem to understand Midori, and for that reason, they'd pick on her. But one thing's for sure, when girls pick on other girls, it isn't the prettiest sight. They play hard.

Every night Midori would sit up, never sleeping, but crying, endlessly. Her only friend was a doll, a doll her mother had given to her before she had died. Everything was told to her doll.

Only today Midori lost it at lunch. She was sitting at her usual table, in a corner of the room. Usually, they left her alone during lunch, but today, was different. A group of four girls came over to her table and sat down. They shot her nasty looks, and Midori just stared down at her food, stirring it around with a fork. The girl that sat next to Midori stood, and she inched closer to her and grabbed her glass of apple juice, and "accidently" dropped it on Midori. It spilled over her head, and dripped down her clothes. She sat still for a moment, then looked up at the girl standing over her. "Oopsie." she said. Midori stood, and pinned her to the table by her neck. Leaning over the girl she spoke, softly and kind, but her words were everything but kind.. "I'll be back.. and you, you will be first. I promise you." By the time the teachers were rushing over to get Midori off the girl, she had already run back to her dorm. She hung herself that night, her doll at her feet...

The teachers held a funeral for Midori, but none of the students even dared to show. Her and her doll were buried in the same grave...


A week later, Midori's grave was ruined, the dirt was torn up, her body, and the doll were gone. Everyone figured it was just grave diggers, so no one really bothered. Afterall, it was Midori's grave anyway. However, the truth was, was that Midori was back, just as she'd promised. She'd made herself and her doll a little one room house out in the middle of the woods. The same night as her return, the girl who had spilled juice all over Midori, seemed to just...vanish? Only...not so much as vanish. A trail of blood led out through her window. Funny thing was, the girl's own personal doll was missing too. Her body was never found, or doll. Midori, had taken her to her house in the woods, along with her doll. The girl's doll was put into a coffin, and put underground. Meanwhile, Midori spent her next couple of days binding the girl's soul to the doll.

After the soul was bound to the doll, Midori called a demon to watch over the doll, through it's next life. This whole thing was meant to be as a punishment, and Midori thought she was pretty clever too.

You see, Midori did get her revenge that night, but it didn't stop there. To this day, she's still claiming girls for her nasty trick. The teacher's just sort of turn, and look the other way.

The students...they spread rumors about "Midori's Curse".

Flat Sales

Flat sales will be extremely rare. In each flat sale there will be 1-4 dolls. *Flat sale price is 20k, unless stated otherwise. Usually there will be a RP prompt for each doll. You will be required to do that, and answer any other questions we may send your way for the doll. You can try for up to three dolls, however, you will only be allowed to buy one per flat sale.

*: Remember, each stage is unique and drawn individually, no doll has the same line art!

Auctions

Auctions will be most common, whether it's offering a custom, or a 'special' doll.


Auction start bids will be 20k(flat sale price), the minimum bid increasments will be 2k, and the ABs will be different each time (if there is one).

Raffles

Raffles may be held on special occasions: for fun, and what not. Raffle tickets will be 120 gold per ticket.

Special

Special events include storyline updates, secret santa, valentines, those sort of things. We'll try and hold as many special events as we can. They're usually around holiday times, or when something dandy happens around the thread.

General Rules

1. Obey the Gaia TOS at all times. If you break it not only will you be in trouble here but with the mods as well.

2. No art theft or editing the dolls of any kind. If we catch you, you will be blacklisted and reported for theft, which is a TOS violation.

3. If you have questions, read over the FAQ. If your question isn't up there, post it here and wait until we see it. Do not bother the staff unless they say its ok to PM them.

4. Owners cannot sell their dolls without permission of the staff. If you cannot take care of your doll anymore, contact a staff member so we can put her up for adoption.

5. Do not beg staff for ANYTHING. Don't spam our inboxes begging for a doll or gold/items.

6. Do not beg doll owners asking if you can buy their doll. Not only that but if they agree, their doll will be taken away plus the both of you are blacklisted (Or grey depending on the situation)

7. Please be literate in the thread~ If you are ordering and we can't understand you, your order may be ignored until edited properly.

8. Absolutely do not be rude to the staff or anyone else in the thread.

9. Don't complain about stupid things. If you don't win a raffle or auction or something because you were on before your 24 hours were up, it's not our fault, it's yours. Please understand that we have the right to re-auction/re-draw for raffles if you don't respond within 24 hours.

Flatsale Rules:


1. Be sure to read the General Rules :3

2. You can only apply for 3 dolls maxed.

3. Buying for a friend is alright, but it counts as your 3 limit.

4. When ordering, place a domo and a heart emote at the bottom of your order
to make sure you have read the rules.

5. If someone ahead of you already claimed a doll, you may edit your orders.
Otherwise, please don't edit them once you post it unless you made a typo/error.

Auction Rules:


1. Only bid what you have.. don't bid something you don't have... Just.. don't.

2. Please, don't retract bids. It's just.. so rude.

3. Try not to bid over 12 items.. It makes trading a messy task.

4. Be sure to follow the General Rules aswell..

5. And remember kids, no stealing the art. x]

6. Upon winning you must reply to FG within 24 hours.

Stages

+ All dolls are different, none ever looking the same. Do not ask any Staff for the "normal" doll previews. There are none.


Each stage lasts 4-8 weeks (Unless RPed properly), except for the adult stage. It could be a.. while before it changes into the 'mystery stage'...

Demon Carrier A demon is holding your precious doll in it's coffin while your doll awaits it's soul attatchment. This demon will stick with your doll all through it's life, and mind you, just because it's a demon doesn't mean it's going to do all things hellish. Your demon can be sweet as can be.


Awakened Your doll will finally come out of the coffin, and she'll be very attatched to her demon like it's...her new mother/father. She can't remember much about her past life as a human. She'll have a child-like appearance and wont be seen without her demonic companion. Also, the demon seems to of given up limbs, or something to give the doll life!


Adolescent Your doll may now take some characteristics from her first life as a human. Not in apperance, but through personality. Some vague memories start to filter through her mind also about her past life, but not much. At this stage she's considered a "teenager". Her demon and her have a strong relationship now, and she may not be around it at all times, but surely their bond is very, very strong. Your demon's yet lost another thing about it, so the doll could grow. Your demon also seems to have lost a bit of it's strength..

Adult The doll gets a special abillity, usually an elemental abillity. She also grows a bit more, and looks more adult like. Her memory comes back a little more from what it used to be, and now she can remember lots of things from her past. She now looks after her demon, as it's a tad bit weak.

Abilities

As your doll matures it will get an ability. Everyone's ability will be directed from the orgin of their doll, aswell as from their previous life. Their abilities may be helpful in events that the shop has, or in just random roleplay.

Some abilities may be repeated, and some may be 'special one time only'. However, just because two dolls have the same ability doesn't mean that they'll both be used in the same way. One may be good, another... not so good.

It's up to you, how you put your doll's ability to work.


Abilities Discovered

Freezing Touch - Your doll has the ability to freeze any non-living object into solid ice. If your doll attempts to freeze a living being, the being will just receive multiple cold chills.

Heal - Your doll has the ability to heal herself, and/or others. Yet.. it doesn't make your doll invincible. Once the power is used, it cannot be used again for another half hour - hour.

Sweet Serenity - Your doll has the ability to calm, almost hypnotize other dolls, and humans. When times are chaotic, your doll may use this ability.

+ Role playing is open to absolutely ANYONE! You don't need to own a doll, to roleplay.

+ Actual roleplaying should be done here in the thread.

+ Role-playing keeps your doll growing. These dolls are RP mandatory so be sure to create a journal and RP your doll.

+ To access the guild, you may click here.

+ When RPing, you may RP on your own journal as much as you'd like. If you want to enter someone elses, always make sure you have their permission.

+ When RPing, don't be the "god" character. Everyone and everything has a weakness somewhere. [Ex: My doll -insert name here- just started glowing and wow! She suddenly became this and that and this and that and...] No no. (:

The Locations

*= Doll's only, unless an event states other wise, etc.

The School - It's filled with magnificant stair wells. Standing five stories tall, holding three thousand, or more, students. Five hundred and sixty class rooms, seven rooms are forbidden to go in (for students anyway)... Gee.. wonder why?

The Dormitories - A large plot of land, that sits right beside the school. Buses run through there by day, and the girls throw their forbidden parties there by night. With over two thousand apartments, and thirty or so actual houses (for the teachers of course.) It's hardly a standard housing area of it's time.

The Woods - What kind of school would it be if it weren't smack dab in the middle of woods? They stretch for miles on end, two hundred miles away from the nearest city. Of course, it's a risky task to get over the large metal fence that surrounds the school, to actually enter the woods... But who knows what you'll find inside...

Midori's Room - A small house, one room, right in the middle of the woods. This is where your doll came from... well.. more like, "held" before she could be stuffed into a coffin, and transported to you by her personal demon. It's not much for looks, but it's like your dolls' home, one room, furnished well, it's great, and a dandy hangout spot.

Flatsales, auctions, events, etc. Be sure to check this front page often for news on sales.


How much are they?
Please check the Sales section for pricing.


Are these RP mandatory?
Not mandatory, but you must RP to keep your doll growing. These dolls are not just for signature/journal display. Don't want to RP? Don't purchase a doll.


I like the art >.> Can I post it up somewhere else?
Do not post any of the art to claim it as your own creation. If you would like to post it up anywhere other than Gaia, contact one of the staff members.


I'm too busy to take care of my doll. Can I sell it to someone?
If you are too busy for your doll, please contact the staff. We will put her up for adoption instead. Selling these without our permission and knowledge is a violation of the rules and is a grey or blacklist offence.

I saw someone selling your dolls! Can I tell them they're stealing?
Contact us first. If you see someone selling any art piece for Gaian gold/currency, get a hold of the staff first and provide a URL to the page where you found it. We will take care of it from there.
