The elves of the forest were at tune with nature, almost perfectly. The trees, the water, the air, the animals, they more or less felt a connection to it.

The spring was fading and summer approaching. The trees were a myriad of beautiful colors and the water was very warm (although often a little wet). The birds were out and every morning their song could be heard loudly.

One morning that was different.

The elves near their secret guild could immediately feel something out of place. The birds did not sing this morning, the wind didn't blow and the water didn't have its usual energy. Even the animals were moving about slowly.

Something was definately amiss.

Ayanami was reading about herb-lore in a small hallow in the trunk of an old tree. She looked up to see Av^RoNiN^vA fire at Arwen and then turn to escape. Biting her lip, she decided to try a spell she'd learned a short while back. Whispering the charm, she waves her finger in his direction and a root pulls itself out of the ground and wraps around his ankle. She snikers as he falls on his face, and chants another quick spell. The leaves
and branches of the tree around her gently droop down and hide her from view. She then returnes to studing from the old, dusty tome.

(OOC: It's kinda fun writing like this, although it's harder then the standard *does this* method. ^^ I must go now, although I won't be styding herb-lore. Rather, Physics, US Gov't, and other forms of scholarly death. See you all later!)

Rawb sat down. He didn't know how urgent the situation was so he decided to bring it up slowly. "Tree jumping..basically the tree lets me in and I can move through them..kind of like shadow jumping or something.." Rawb smiled weakly. He looked around and then said.
"Do you hear that?"

ooc: for some reason it wont let me delete posts, i have to go back to class for an hour, more drawing :p but ill try again when i get home

Rawb smiled weakly. "It was the sound of a bird trying to sing. Do you see anything wrong with that? I do..." Rawb said as he leaned against the side of the tree.

He frowned and looked down for a second and then looked back to Arwen. "...there is something wrong with the forest and the animals." He knew what he said next would sound unbelievable but he said it anyways. "The trees were...telling...me that they were feeling weaker, same with Gais and other animals.." Rawb sighed. He truly hated to see his 'home' suffer like this.

He relaxed for a second and looked over the guild. "I'm worried...but I'm not sure where to start."

"I agree" Rawb paused for a moment.. "but I don't think its IN the forest...at least not anywhere in the open, if it were, I'd know about it.." Rawb leapt down from the tree and landed softly.

He looked around to see if there was anyone else. "I hope the others are willing to help us out..I have a horrible feeling about all of this.."
