Just kidding. I love you all. I just moved the shop for the kabillionth friggen time. Check it out here. I took a lot of the feedback in mind when the new shop went up so I hope it makes things a lot easier for all of you. <3


Faetasia is a magical island that is literally alive. The island itself is a thinking, living creature that changes based on the animals that live there. All kinds of creatures are attracted to the island though they cannot explain it. As they join, the island grows larger and larger, shifting to include a habitat for the new creatures that call the island their home.

Faekats are the original inhabitants of the island. They believe that it's the magic and love that comes from their race that keeps the island alive. Perhaps this is indeed a fact. When a faekat is born out of love, one an swear the wind is singing in joy. Trees seem to bend and twist to provide shelter to the youngster. Water will gently guide the little one back to land if he happens to fall in.

Of course, not all matches are those out of love and there's many dark races on the island. The island groans at these races but adapts to their needs as well. It is here that the plantlife will try to attack you.. the water will try to drown you. The darker races don't seem affected by these elements but all the good races that wander into the dark lands.. may the deities above protect them.

Female Regular Example Stages


Egg: Eggs are simply.. eggs. But what's special about these eggs is that they cannot break.

Baby: Once the egg hatches, you'll have a baby. The babies will want to explore and will have a thirst for knowledge. Plants and animals will protect the youngster though it's always nice to have a parent around just in case. There's a lot of evil in Faetasia.

Adult: The adult stage is the final stage for now. Elders may be added in the future. Faekats can find romance at this stage, breed to have children, and start making decisions on their own. With adulthood comes the freedom to do many things. Enjoy!

FaeDragon :: ★ ★ The dragons have come to Faetasia recently. They are strong willed and stubborn. Males are flyers and females are swimmers.
FaeRabbits :: ★ These female rabbits are motherly types. They have babies on the brain. Watch out males!
FaeBat :: ★ These female bats used to be slaves and are finally learning to live on their own. Only one of ther arms has a wing to keep them from flying.
Hopper:: ★ These females are excellent hoppers. They can jump 20 foot in height and length!
Horse :: ★ ★ The horses are wild and carefree creatures. The rarer types include: Pegasi, Unicorns, Seahorses, Nightmares and Daymares.
Raccoon :: ★ The Raccoons are a meaner race that loves to steal from others. They don't do this because they may want an item, they do it to hurt others.
Faeries :: ★ ★ The Faeries are masters of illusion. Their illusion type is based on their allignment. Dark faeries have evil illusions and normal faeries have good ones.

Meanki :: ★ This female race is vulgar, violent and beautiful. They know it and won't let you forget it.
Maedra :: ★ This female race is very pixie-like and quite small. They can hide in the most obscure places and enjoy playing tricks on others.
Rabbits :: ★ These male rabbits are wild and have an evil streak to them. They love getting into physical fights.
Lizards :: ★ These females are usually shy but when pushed have a toughness about them. They are skilled at fighting.
Fluffae :: ★ This female race love to live in trees and use their large wings to glide around. They are really playful.
FaeSquirrel :: ★ This male race consider themselves to be the cutest. They love attention from the ladies and love giving it to them!
Siren :: ★ This female race lives in the water (though they can go on ground for extremely short periods). They are evil and love to play tricks on the surface males.
Buck :: ★ This male race is very territorial and arrogant. They like to try to control all the females in the area.
HarpyKat: ★ This female race (male to come?) is part bird and part feline. They are sweet creatures naturally.. at least no one has seen their bad side yet.
Spider: ★ The female spiders are nice whereas the males of the race are evil. Though they are opposite in alighment, females and males get along well together.
Snake: Do not trust this male race. They come with a poisonous bite that they aren't afraid to use.
FaeTaur: Faetaurs are faekats that are merged with felines so they have four lower limbs and two upper ones. They are really strong and fast on their feet.
Lothfera :: ★ ★ They're highly in tune with nature, and tend to live off the land. They're usually peaceful, although rogue dark ones also exist.
Wazzit :: ★ Wazzits have powerful elemental magic that cover Earth, Wind, Water and Fire. They are the only spellcasters that can rival the Majerae.
Medusae :: ★ Medusae are an evil race of snake women. Unlike the others, they actual have snakes that come out of their heads and the ability to turn others to stone for a short time.

Hybrids: ★ Similar to freaks, Hybrids are a unique and varying race. Hybrids usually have characteristics from two different animals.
Dracolith: ★ The Dracoliths awoke from their slumber within the mountain. They vary in alignment and temperment.
Cosplays :: This faekats are usually lineart editted to look like a character from an anime, book, movie, etc.
Unique :: Unique pets are usually custom drawn so may not look like any of the other races.

Special

Deities :: Deities are the ultimate race in Faetasia. They are the gods that rule over the world. Each comes with a domain that they follow and rule over.
Angeliques :: Angeliques are angelics that got chosen to be the loved one of a God. They become more powerful and gain some of the abilities of their god as well.
Angelics :: They are bodygaurds, protectors, generals or messengers. They have angelic powers and are good and friendly in general.
Dark Angelics They are also bodyguards, protectors, generals or messengers. However, they are rude and mean where Angelics are nice.
Holykats :: Holykats are pure creatures that detest all evil and will fight to banish evil from the lands. They can cure illnesses and undead.
Unholykats Unholykats are undead creatues that detest all things good and will try to banish good things from the and. They can curse and cause illnesses in others.
Demi-Gods :: Demi-Gods are offspring of Gods that bred with mortals. They aren't really special. They are just slightly stronger and smarter than average faekats.

Event
Deerkin :: ★ These gentle females are fragile and easily frightened. It takes a lot to tame their hearts. Given out during Christmas 2006.
Ferrets :: ★ Ferrets are natural thieves. Do not trust them around items you hold dearly for they will most likely find their way into their pockets. These were given out at Vday 2007.
Fool I Am :: ★ The Fool I Am are a race of lying, deceiving tricksters that enjoy misleading others for their own amusement. Given out during April Fools 2007 to those 'fooled'.
Fool I'm Not :: ★ The Fool I'm Not are a pure race that loves laughing and enjoying their lives. Given out during April Fools 2007 to those 'not fooled'.
Mutant Baby :: An alternative to those that didn't want to color a ferret. They get the option to color a mutant perma-baby instead. -- Still needs drawn.

Faefish :: ★ The Faefish are a playful female race that live in the waters on/around Faetasia. They are the only kind water race that exists. (Lucifer Force's Race)
Faehawk :: ★ The Faehawks are intelligent males. They are excellent hunters as well as predators. Do not make them your enemy. (Mondo Celest's Race)
Faelion :: The lions are a lazy race of males. They prefer to try to find women to do all their work for them. (Mintaka's Race)
Meeki :: ★ The Meeki race are evil creatures that enjoy spreading as much pain and misery as possible. (Meeki's Race)

Buffaelo :: These stubborn males are slow but strong. One doesn't always need intelligence in life and they prove it. They have a big heart and a gentle spirit. (Leena Asakura's Race)
Sinful Kat :: The Sinful kats are all about breaking as many of the deadly sins as possible. In fact, their goal is to see how many they can bring at one time. (Lady Crystal's Race)
BeeKat :: A usually sweet race, they are not afraid to use their stinger on you if you keep bothering them. They love to collect honey to make goodes with. (Animechickie's Race)
MerKat :: Much like the Siren, their fins turn into legs upon land. Unlike Sirens, they are violent and will attack just about any faekat that gets in their way. (Lady Twitch's Race)
Rain Sprite :: These little mischievous sprites are rumored to be children of the deity, Rainmaker. They have both a solid and smoke-like form and hide in rainclouds.( [ astra ]'s Race)
Dreamer :: The Dreamers are adorable little males that are powerful illusionists. They use their tails to pain images in the air and those images come to life for a short period of time. (Nessylove's Race)

Cash Races

Kindred Race :: This is a race of females fashioned to look like the goddess, Kindred. She rules the anarch vampires so all the races are vampires as well. Each comes with unique hair and outfit but otherwise, they are 'clones'.
Panda Bear :: The Panda Bear race is an ebil female race that looks misleading. Despite being cute as hell, she is aggressive. Approach with caution.

Alright, I hate doing this but I really need to try to lessen my workload. Due to some problems irl, I've been bumped up to the only babysitter for my neice and nephew (I used to alternate days with someone and they jumped ship) so lose most of my days (and some evenings) lately. It's why I've been on less and also why I've got less done. I'm free today due to the fact that my brother is sick so he's staying home with his kids. ^-^

So I'm going to offer an alternative to the mutant babies. Those that sent in a pet to have a mutant baby (by Feb. 14th) can have the option to color their own pet, a unique race I made up that only I have access to so they will be extremely rare. I doubt I will ever flatsale these ferret females and only use them for events. So this is a chance to get not only a rarer pet but one you can color and edit yourself -- within limits!

They are a ferret female race. They are very sweet females but they have a problem with.. stealing things. They are kleptomaniacs and half the time they don't realize they are doing so! Those that read Dragonlance can have an idea of how these females are by comparing them to kenders. "Oops, it must have fallen into my pocket!"

Rules
1. You can edit hair, clothing and accessories only. Keep it to simple things, normal wear.
2. NO COSPLAY EDITS
3. No stereotype edits (geisha, cheerleader, etc) as I consider these cosplays.
4. No historical edits (egyptian, renaissance, etc) as I consider these cosplay as well.
5. No morally questionable edits such as Lolita, bondage, lingerie. Nothing that comes off ebil such as an excess of skulls or peircings. Ferrets are a good race so the edits must represent that.
6. If you submitted for a mutant baby but cannot color one yourself or do not wish to, you can ask a friend to color one for you as long as they do so for free. If you see someone that can't color and want to offer to color theirs, you may if you also do so for free.
7. Lucifer Force, Silent Spy and Lockesly may also make one of these since they received their mutant babies before the ferret alternative was offered.
8. There WILL be babies for these in the future so they will be breedable.
9. If you decide to accept to color a ferret girl for yourself instead of want a mutant baby, please edit yout post in this thread and remove your mini pet and put a heart in it's place instead. This will let me know that you have chosen a Color-It-Yourself ferret instead.
10. Please do not make your ferret look slutty. New!

♥ F.A.Q ♥ (Frequently Asked Questions)

♥How do I get one? Flatsales, Auctions, Bribes or Customs!
♥...What?: Flatsales are when pets are flatsold within the thread for one set price. Auctions are when pets are sold in another thread and people can continue to bid until the auction ends or the pet is autobought. Bribes are when one approaches me with an offer for real life money and Customs is usually always available for gold. Unlike auctions or flatsales, you can choose what colors and genders you want for your pet.
♥Are Faekats Roleplay required? No. However, if you go for a rarer pet like a deity or a cosplay, if you are inactive, cosplays can be remade and your deity could lose control of a specific domain. We do not give away or sell pets here anymore. You keep what you paid for. There can just be two Alucard faekats, for example, if one person disappears.
♥Can my Faekat be homosexual or bisexual? Yes, but we ask that you make your decision as soon as you get your faekat and stick with it. Homosexual pets have it harder when it comes to breeding.
♥Can homosexual faekats breed? Not naturally no. They must rent out the services of a special demi-goddess of fertility to be able to breed. It's 20k gold per baby and the gold goes to the owner of the demi-goddess used.
♥Can I ask around to see who would want to be mates with my kat? Sure, but try not to come off as offensive. Some people prefer to roleplay out their faekats instead of just hooking them up with someone elses.
♥Do you accept payment plans? A colorist might accept them, provided you take it seriously. I personally.. no longer take them due to past negative experiences with them.
♥Can I have a free faekat? I can't afford one. I don't mind helping out the occasional person with a freebie as long as they don't come flooding in. I understand 3k-5k can be a lot to newcomers or those with little means to make gold.
♥Is there a limit to the amount of faekats one can own? Nope! Just as long as one doesn't appear to be monopolizing flatsales, customs or auctions, all is well!
♥Do you take pet trades? Not unless a specific colorist is interested in the pet you are offering.
♥Can I get a cosplay faekat? Cosplays are available only through sets colored and sold by the Faekat staff. It is possible to get one if they have one for sale.
♥Can we co-own pets? Yes, but only if you don't fight over the pet. Co-own with someone you know you can get along with.
♥The owner of the faekat that's mated to mine is inactive. What do I do? Send a pm to one of faekat staff. We can consider the situation and consider a partial ownership that will allow you to roleplay the faekat and any offspring. In dire situations, we may break faekats up.
♥If you've been around for almost three years, why does your shop have so few pages? This shop has been restarted many times. This is due to changes in rules, staff or other such things. Don't worry, we are quite stable.

♥ Standard Rules ♥

1. No Stealing/Altering Lineart without my permission.
2. No Harassing/Trolling.
3. Respect both Staff and Owners alike. This goes for both Staff and Owners.
4. No Selling Faekat Pets without permission from Meeki.
5. No Trading Faekat Pets.
6. No Giving away Faekat Pets without permission from Meeki.
7. No naming, basing, dressing your character up like another unless it's a true special edition.
8. Do not decorate any part of the faekat cards except the white area with the faekat pet itself. The other areas need to be blank for inventory items or information alterations.
9. No Roleplaying in thread. We have a roleplay world!
10. Try to keep drama out of thread. At least as much as possible.
11. Send all complaints to an active member of faekat staff. If it's about a member of staff, send the complaint to Meeki.
12. No purchasing new pets until debts are paid off. This can go for both debts owed to staff or debts owed to other faekat owners. We protect our own.
13. We will not reserve a pet for more than two days.
14. For Special Editions, faekats can only be based off fictional characters. This means no real life actors, musicians, etc can be done. No family members of real life friends. No gaia avatars other than your own.
15. No godmoding. No killing of other pets. No bringing other pets to near death. No forcing them in a situation they don't want to be in. Violence is allowed without permission only in Hades and Dark Woods, however, they cannot kill or bring close to death. Faekats cannot die except by God intervention! Just to add, Gods can godmode, hehe...
16. If you return a pet to me that you purchased, saying you cannot properly care for them and want them to go to a new home, that's fine and dandy, I'll do that. However, you cannot purchase any new faekats from the agency since you proved you have more than enough to handle.
17. I'm willing to let any and all faekats breed without being in love. However, keep in mind that for good pets, this would be a little out of character and possibly damage any future hopes of having a 'real' family.
18. Please try to roleplay the plot pets whenever possible. Those are Gods, Demi Gods, Werewolves, Vampires, Holykats and Unholykats so far as well as special editions. Pets won't be taken away per se but they could end up demoted.
19. If you own a cosplay and are inactive for a long period, the cosplay could be reopened. This in no way means you lost a pet, it just mean there could be multiples of a specific cosplay character. They'll have to be individual based on personality and such. I know this sucks but really, it's not fair to other fans for popular cosplays to be purchased and then disappear.


♥ Pet Related Rules ♥
1. Homosexual Faekats cannot breed without the use of a demi-goddess of fertility. If they do, they need a demi-goddess of fertility of the OPPOSITE gender to be able to help them. For example, two females would need a male demi-goddess of fertility. Homosexual Faekats can adopt though.
2. Faekat cannot be bisexual. They must choose one or the other.
3. All faekats fear the gods. No faekat is stupid enough to try to stand up to a god. If you do this, don't be surprised if your pet gets killed off.
4. God Owners: Do not abuse your god or you may find mortality closer than you think. Try to be a reasonable deity.
5. Try to break out of the habit of 'groups' or 'cliques'. It's more fun when pet owners are more inviting and accepting of others.


♥ Auction Rules ♥
1. No gloating. Do not state you are unbeatable. Do not say things like you will not give up. Do not state things like you have someone's else's back. If you want to help someone, you can in other ways. Making it a public thing is a form of bullying and intimidation that I will not tolerate.
2. Only two people per bid. Say Person A wanted a faekat. Person B wanted to help. Person B would be accepted and be the 'second in command'. If Person A could not be around, Person B could update the bid. If Person C, D, E, and F wanted to help person A out, they would have to go to either Person A and B privately with what they want to bid to aid them. They cannot make the bids public. When so many people help each other publicly, it goes with the first rule. Looks like a type of intimidation or gang-up of some kind. So any extra helpers, be sure to contact the two dealing with the bid in a private fashion.
3. No sniping. At all. Anything within the final ten minutes I will consider sniping so if you really want the pet, come in 20 minutes before it closes or more.

This section is dedicated to those that are banned from this shop and their faekats which are considered deceased. Fidsah and/or Vin, depending on the account he uses is in charge of the banned list. He has authority to ban and unban whoever he pleases.. as long as he has a valid reason for it. He's the bouncer, the rule enforcer and in short, the jailer.

What happens?
1. People who are banned do not get refunds. It's kind of silly to break rules or show disrespect and then expect your gold back.
2. Banned people cannot give away or sell their pets.
