Yes, you heard right, job openings!

As some of you know, I have been flooded under with problems lately. So, I'm trying my best to catch up but me and Kitty are extremely snowed under! So here's your chance to help out.

There are two jobs up for offer. Guest Colourist, and Maintainence.

The guest colourist will be doing just that. I will send over linearts, and you colour them. As payment, you recieve many Phoenii perks, a custom Phoenii from egg (worth 60K), which can be coloured either by you or me, and unlimited breeding for your Phoenii. You will also recieve a share of the gold for any customs, specials or cosplays you colour.

Maintainence is someone will to keep the Owner's List, and a topic keeping track of who's due to grow when! Kitty is doing this at the moment, but with all the certing being done, it's difficult. As payment, you will recieve a custom Phoenii, moderator status in the Guild, and Phoenii perks.

Past Experience: I helped Farland do some organizing at her shop, the Farland Clinic. I am the co-owner and general idea-creator, organizer, and work-whore at VOrcot's shop, On the Other Side. I similarly create journals, make announcements, send out warnings, review journals and RP progress, and keep the owner (Skysong Keitra) informed at her shop Soul Maternity Clinic. I also helped naeodin in retrieving some information for her former shop Project 030.
Why Do I want the Job?: Well, I'm good at organizing, and the little tedious jobs that most people despise (like making journals, updating the owner's list, charting growths, and recording growth requirement progress) are the things that I enjoy. I work pretty much for free at most of the shops, including at Soul Maternity Clinic, which takes me more time than any other. I just enjoy the work.

The fact that this is such a friendly thread makes me want to work here as well. To do the work I enjoy in such a friendly environment (and with an understanding shopowner who LISTENS to what her customers want, a rarity in many breedables shops) would make it less of work and more a labor of love. I like doing this sort of thing, as crazy as it sounds.

References: Most aren't active on Gaia anymore... Britain may remember some of my colourings, and possibly Dragonfyre. I have links to my own shops though if you want them.

Past Experience:
- Coloured some 20 of the Secret Santa Pards for Britain last year (Out of about 114 that were released?)
- Colourist for the Rykzi Dragons until they went on hiatus (ask Dragonfyre)
- Colourist for Taes, now owner
- Colourist for Amaryllis Isle (run by Pyrobat) before shop closed due to a major computer crash
- Colourist for Sunchildren (though only one example is really available at the moment)
- Shop owner at the Feather-Dragon Spire (no current examples available due to lineart changing)
- Shop owner at Ari'Skrith (Only one coloured from there, I hired colourists for that one)
- Other samples from various colouring contests available on request

Why I want this job: Aside from the fact that this shop is made of awesome? Well, I've seen how hard you two work right now, and I really want to help out and lessen the load some. biggrin
I've also been trying to find a way to work on my colouring for some time now... One can only get better through practice, right? I'm looking for a way to improve with feedback, and because this shop is active, it might be exactly the thing I need, if I'm wanted here as staff. 3nodding

References: Uh... I don't really have any. Unless you count Sliver-head angel, who saw my art before. XD
Past Experiences: I haven't worked in a shop before. ^^; But I color things for fun.
Why I want this job: Well, I really like this shop, and the people that hang around here. Sapphire and Kitty are being overstressed lately, and I want to help them anyway I can. Plus, coloring is one of my (internet) hobbies, and doing it for the shop seems like a good way to improve my skills, and a lot of fun.

Just as a small pop-in from me, Kitty, if you could, we'd also like to see how well you can shade on your own. Try taking the beak and legs and matching them to the way that we shade, or maybe even create shading of your own. ^^

You can have it as a seperate picture, simply so we can see what it looked like before the shading and then after the shading. ^.^

xd I was thinking if it would be easier for you two, if I had like one folder for my shading vs. the raw version on the given lineart... Although the raw colours I used on mine are waaay dark.

Tis what I get for taking the shaded lineart as a soft light layer for autoshading, I suppose. whee
