WE HAVE MOVED THE SHOP
3D Galleria Shop Link

This is the new Merlian & Merdragon Shop.
Formerly Seahatchling and Merlian Shop Combined
We were the 1st 3D Breedables

Absolutely Good News

I have found a way to keep up the Merlian, Merdragon, Gaiadragon, and Gaiacom shops open. I have found that I love them and well really don't want someone else to take over and do something similar and with less heart put into it.

In the next few days I am going to organize a new Emporium type shop. Which will combine the 3 different breedables into one shop.

I may need to hire one or two assistants to help run the shop.

What I have in mind is a 3 story - 3D Emporium
1st floor - Dragons
2nd floor -Mers
3rd floor Gaiacoms/Simulation

The shop will deal in flatsales and breedings for a set fee.
A frequent buyer program will be instituted
A Credit Card Payment plan will be offered to former buyers with good credit rating - ie only those issued a store credit card can do a payment plan option.

I hope to get to this project this weeeknd as I want this to be as well organized as my new Fees de Noix Shop.

As a bonus all the people issued those vouchers get to keep them as a Valentine's present ((^0^)) Happy Early Valentine

Sorry to have caused such sadness for all of us the last few days. Glad I thought up a better plan though.

I know you do. And I greatly appreciate it Dooma, Ravestarr, Caneton, Purrasha, Alexina, Nenia Vomyr & Sakura Chang. They have been issued special valentines vouchers.

4th Post - Merlians & Merdragons Story

In 2003 I had gotton some eggs from the mermaid princess. These eggs had hatched into Gaiadragons and Merdragons.

During the spring of 2004 it was found that some eggs that were bred did not hatch properly. crying

So the Gaia/Merdragon shop closed.

I also ran a Gaicom Shop and Merlian Shop. Currently the Gaiacom shop is being renovated and will be coming back soon. Extensive renovations of that shop are necessary due to the catastrophic explosion during testing of new equipment. The dragon hatchery and original merlian shop were also destroyed during this explosion.

After the accident I went to visit with the Merlian princesses doctors to be treated for injuries.

While visiting the Merlians I discovered why the dragon eggs were not hatching. Poor conditions in the original hatchery.

So new facilites were built. The new Merdragon Merlian Facilites are vastly improved.

Dragon Hatchery conditions are electronically monitored for proper temperature, humidity and other factors.

The Merlian hatchery are similarly monitored.

Please observe proper behavior, No flaming, or Name calling.

I reserve the right to ban you from buying at the shop or auctions if you make the Ban list. (Currently there is no ban list - warnings will be issued before banning)

If you have dragons from before the new complex you are welcome to roleplay. A vouchering system will be in place for people owed dragons from the dragons not hatching in last hatchery.

More later on the vouchering system.

7th Post - Vouchering System
I will be issuing vouchers to people whose eggs in did not hatch in the last hatchery. 1 voucher per person per breeding.

You can redeem your voucher on a first come first serve basis on voucher redemption events. A certain amount of eggs from the mermaid princess will be alotted for voucher redemption.

You can not use a voucher to redeem a dragon not tagged as voucher redemption.

8th post - Breeding Info
Merlians are separate breedings from Merdragons. They are different species and curently not known to be crossbreedable.

Merlian Breeding
Merlians have an extremely long rest period between breeding 1 month. Once a Merlian is an adult it can breed during a spawning cycle. Since male merlians are quite rare and scarce in gaia 2 additional breeding options will be introduced.

Artificial Insemination - Father's records are sealed
Compter Matching - Info on available visiting Male Merlians posted in an online dating fashion.

There is a 2k breeding fee per parent to use spawning grounds (4k Total). If you are using Artificial means then it will be 3k fee.

If you want to foster out the offspring you get 50% of the fee gotten from auction or sale.

Merlians are not studs and brood mares so understand that they mate for producing offspring a max of 3 times. They have also been known to form strong attachments and mate for life.

If your merlian produces more than one egg per owner, then you pay an additional 4k hatching fee per egg. If the extra eggs are sold/auctioned the hatching fee is waived. If you want to give your egg as a present then the transfer/hatching fee if 2.5k

I'm sorry about the additional fees I'd rather add fees for keeping extra eggs than raise the breeding fee.

Merdragon Breeding
Merdragons are now limited to a max of 2 eggs per breeding. This reduces risk to both parents as well as insures that the facilty can handle the amount of dragon eggs in the hatchery.

Rest period between breedings is 3 weeks.

New Merdragons are crossbreedable with jeweled dragons and gaiadragons as well as the older merdragons. Elder/Retired dragons are sterile.

Due to extensive cross breeding in some cases recessive gaia dragons may hatch directly out of an egg.

Breeding fee is free when slots are available if you auction or sell a dragon egg you get 50% of sale/auction price. Minimum sell price is 4k. If you want to keep your dragon egg then there is a 3k hatching fee for use of hatchery and incubator.
