As promised, my charity now opens!
Im glad some people are happy for me, but please STOP with the random friendlistings. If you want to be my friend, make friends with me first, friendlist later. Im not gonna be put up on a list just cause I got my new item gonk Likewise, STOP asking for donations! I just bought a friggen halo for crying out loud I have only MY things left. When my charity is open come bug me in there, not in here, not in pms. Just stop.
HEAR YE HEAR YE! One of the kindest Gaians around has finally put an end to this quest! 2 year, 6 months and 8 days down the road, I finally have my halo! Thank you immediatly goes out to Relentness for being so kind as to sell me it. heart
-----Its been one hell of a journey. I started this quest new years day, January 1st 2004, practically one month after starting Gaia itself. It was a tough choice; however, at the time I felt it was the only "true" angelic item out there, and it pretty much still is. I have always had a personal love of angels. The meaning behind the halo on gaia also appealed to me. I knew it wouldn't be easy, although I never imagined it would take 2 and a half years honestly, but I kept at it.
-----The best thing about this quest was the actual questing. I had trouble fitting into other forums on gaia and the Charity section very quickly became a great home. I met great people here and it is because of the Charity section that I have stayed. This is where I found some of the dearest, kindest, most caring and very fun people Gaia has to offer. Not only in donations, but in friendship, and in reality that is the most imporant factor of Gaia. I don't think anyone can push as hard as I did for any item without great friends cheering you foward, helping you when your down, and flat out giving you a reason to be there and stay. This is a forum and it's the people that count.
-----First, I have to give special thanks to R E L E N T L E S S for being the one to see my offer, give merit to my hard work and dedication, and find it in her heart to select me as a winner of the halo. She definatly deserved her halo, and I am honored she chose me to try and carry that same flame ^_^. On her part, she has definatly kept the halo's meaning alive for charitable and kind gaians, and I hope to do the same. I also need to give special thanks to Jade Swiftwind and HuggieBear for giving me some of my biggest donations, but more so I thank them because I knew deep down these donations were a huge sacrifice on their part. All of Jade's stuff to double my offer and many of Huggie's dearest most expensive items that just sweetened my offers variety and flavor whee (weird terms but they feel right). Lastly a special thanks needs to be given to XAoi Hoshi MegamiX for pointing me towards the halo auction that ended my quest. heart
-----Now this does not mean I dont acknowledge everyone else. I have received a lot of huge donations from many people, as well as a lot of donations in general from people who just felt the need to help my quest, some even on their own quests still. They will all be thanked below in my doantors list that will finally be back after many months of retirement. I have gone through many a clean pair of pants and undies in responce to my donations xd .
-----I don't know how I'm going to thank all my dear friends for helping me. I have to track some of them down, and if you know where any of them are, please spread the word sweatdrop . I miss them cry . I'm going to try to repay as many of my friends as possible first, at the risk of my very own life! eek (Yes...some of them will kill me if I help them...so I must help in secret ninja ). Likewise, after some roaming around Gaia for a change and enjoying a little bit of new found freedom to explore, shop and other stuff (Yes...ive mostly stayed in my thread, and never spent any of my quest gold really.) I will be opening my Charity to repay Gaia in general for its kindness in making a dream come true, and hopefuly help others reach their goals!
-----So since my quest is over, this is more of a comment then a request. If you want to donate any gold or items towards helping my charity come up off the ground, all donations are welcome and loved, but are not required. I do have a little bit of funds left of 05-06 stuff that couldnt be used in the halo auction to help me get started, but as always it wont last forever and the more I have, the more I can give away 3nodding . ninja Or if you want to help me enjoy some shopping thats always welcome too xd just please tell me why your sending whatever you are ninja .
-----So all in all, I am a happy happy Gaian! Please come in and party at your leisure, this thread will hopefully be open for a few weeks to let everyone come find me and enjoy my happiness with me, as well as let me bring back old friends so I can swarm them with love and/or thanks.
