ooooh a temp banner! things are off to a good start! heart (its starting to grow on me..)

slight change to the V-day event. this invoves 1x1 breedings with shop stock.

basically i want to sell cupons for 20k.
this covers one of your medusa and one of the shop stock.

these will be unlimited, but i really gotta finish the x-mas medusa, and will only work on those breedings if i get a mental block (at least until i finish the x-mas ones XD)

i'll open up sales on v-day, probably run it until saturday since i'm not on tues-friday and i'm sure other people arn't either.

you can buy cupons (i'm sure i'm spelling that wrong) even if you don't have a medusa. there is no rush to use them. you may also buy as many as you want.

what you get is:
a breeding spot with one of your medusa, and one of mine (shop stock) wich will breed like a normal medusa breeding.
you get BOTH eggs. which you may keep, give away, or sell/auction. (if you do this please remeber the shop gets 20% of the sell/auction price. ... unless its 5k or under. ^_^)
i figure this way everyone gets a shot at them, not just two people.

Mitsume will also be added, so you can pick from all three. (couse your medusa will have both arms and probably not be all scared up, .... Mitsume wasn't born that way.)

i will be 'pulling' shop stock. this means they are mine XD buwahaha *cough* okay, what that REALLY means is i've been having problems with how i breed them, so yeah, i need to rethink this. i might offer potions for effects or something, we shall see. and depending on how many people go for the v-day breedings, they might not even be needed. *ponders*

WRITING CONTEST!
okay... here goes. it has dawned on me that i am not the most skilled of writers SO since this thread is over 900 pages long it migth be nice to actually put up a story. since writing takes a long time i'm throwing this out there now. i don't have an end date schedualled just yet. maybe in march sometime though.

this shop is supposed to have a Petshop of Horrors feel to it, if you haven't read it, don't worry! you can still enter the contest. and please do.

i had two ideas, one involving a cake eating contest, the other involving lack of space at count D's shop. (but PLEASE try other ideas.. unless you liked these, then feel free to use them)

basically its a story of how the shop or medusa eggs (in my possession) came to be.

feel FREE to take artistic licence and all sorts of fun stuff. i love to read ^__^

prize info will go up later, but you know there will be lots of stuff ^_~
PS. just try. i love everything. even if its not a story that makes for a good intro or something, post it anyway. and don't whine about lack of skills or anything, you all do awsome stuff i'm sure, just have faith in yourself, i do.

this store is pretty casual. i don't demand anything crazy (i think) from owners. just try to have fun ^_^ please do try to read through the front page at least once. if that dosn't answer your questions, post there here, and i'm sure you will get an answer ^_^ all suggestions welcome ^_^

READ: arrgg.... okay, i know everything is all jumbled and confusing. i am trying to straighten it out. currently (super fast summary):
1. no medusa fo sale.

Why the blindfold?
these pets must keep their blindfold on when awake, due to their gaize of stone. this strangly dosn't effect other medusa, but for safty reasons they come with them. your medusa wears it for your, and your other pets, safty. ^_^

Are they poisonus?
um... ^_^' well, just try not to get bitten. *cough*

How many can we own?
as many as you like. Please don't be too excessive though ^_^' i mean after like 50... we might have to talk heart

hmmmm... okay. i was hoping to have the x-mas medusa done before the new year, but that didn't happen. *curses poor time managment skills*

so for valentine's day i would like to offer something too, but this is a bit more managable ^__^

if you WANT an egg (its more work for me, and you guys generally seem to not care for them) let me know before i do your breeding.
i will host the egg until it hatches. (unless this turns out so be impossible cause of PB) then the egg will let you know to come pick your Medusa up here ^__^ you have two weeks to come in and say you got it before i make your sig egg turn into a red x. *grin*

i CANNOT host full grown medusa. i'm sorry x_x'

if you want to skip the egg phase, just say so. i'll toss it in an incubator and cert the adult whee

about the Lists

About list 1 and 2. List one is breedings i am doing. i will at the most, most likely, only be able to do up to two a month. Please remeber this shop is run by ONE person. i do all the upkeep, coloring, lineart, and certs. do NOT whine about how long your breeding is taking. if you are on list 1, it will get done. don't stress. List 2 is a suggestion list.

Basically it means you, and whoever owns the other medusa yours is breeding with, have worked out in PM (or shop. i really don't care) EXACTLY what is going to happen to the offspring. either keeping (and what order people pick... i can do a randomizer if you like), giving away, or auction. you must all be in COMPLEATE agreement. i will not tolerate bitching, passive agressive backstabbing, and snarky comments in regards to this matter.

List 2 (suggestion) should only be used when you are positive you will go for the breeding. its just so i know how many people have plans, and so you don't have to try to remeber it for monthes. please be serious when asking to be put on the list. understand prices may change by the time i get to your breeding on the list. basically don't just do a breeding quickly to 'be on the list' i don't go in order. and i never have to pick off it. i will if i have time. thats about it.

this is going to look a litte different then you might be used too, due to the odd nature of breedings. This shop offers breeding like my old shop. you can have two medusa breed for a standared price, or pay extra (per snake) and have an orgy. this mixes up trats a LOT more ^_____^ and is fun if you and a few friends wanna just mix it up *shrug*

when your Medusa breeds, it will have one egg per snake involved. so if you breed two medusa, then you get two eggs. seven medusa... seven eggs.

*if you auction your medusa, the shop gets 20% of the sale. Thank you.

okay i'm going to ramble a bit about the breeding/wait lists. there will be two lists, one for a two snake breeding (MxF, MxM, FxF) and one for multipul snakes at one time. (i'm going to limit it to 10 snakes at one time unless there is a fantastic amount of begging, then i might change it x_x)
these breeding lists are NOT wait lists. i will have a wait list, this will be clearly marked, since these people would have paid for the breeding. the breeding list is just so i have a clue as to how many people are wanting to breed, and more importaintly HOW many snakes they are planning on breeding at one time. this also lets me get a head start on some breedings if for some ungodly reason i finish all the ones on my wait list. *snort* riiiight. so basically:

1. Wait List = OMG i PAID and am waiting for my eggs! heart (for now, payment is NOT due until the breeding is finished. so this list is closed)
2. Breeding List = i REALLY know i'm going to wait for a spot, here is who i want to mix up. (this is NOT first come first serve)

(IMORTAINT about 'shop stock', your number of original medusa in a breeding must be greater then the number of shop stock medusa. like if you wanted three shop stock in your breeding, you must have at least four original medusa. i might cap this at three shop stock in one breeding regradless. we shall see... [owned medusa > shop stock])

P.S. you may have multipul breeding of your medusa listed. so feel free to plot away. heart

Mau is being kind and letting me use her Medusa from my first shop as an example. If you have one of these (you know who you are) they are breedable here ^___^ so yay.

Not exactly. Poses are being redone. Clothing, hair, blindfold, and color will all be unique to each medusa as much as possible. there will be a few basic body types, as it kills me to redraw those scales every snake. and if you ever want your baby to see the light of day, i can't do it any other way ^_^'

you will get TWO certs when your medusa hatches. A large one, and a more sig legal one ^_^

Items/Gifts have no effect of how your medusa breeds. Its just a place for you to stick some of your beloved Minishop items. or your own art, or advertisment, whatever! (keep it clean ^_~) Don't tell me you have added stuff to the sig, the Medusa i link on the list of owners won't have your items.

sidenote- if you like to add stuff like clothes on your medusa for fun, you can. BUT you can't put that in your sig. feel free to post andd show it off here though ^_^ (clothing is taken in account when breeding, and that would just lead to confusion)

I'm pretty relaxed, unless you break something i felt HAD to be clearly stated. Then nothing short of Lanzer is going to save you. *cough*

1. no art theft. this is absolutly not tolerated. EVER. ... i mean thank you for flattering me by your crime, but a simple 'i love you art' flatters much more. please send me a postcard from hell after i (and a mod, and professional assassin) send you there. thank you. (i mean come on... don't make me cry) and saving images to your computer isn't art theft. feel free to do that. just don't EVER claim them as your own. or reuse them without permission. if you have any questions ASK. please. i'm nice...

now for some guidlines. nice, unspoken rules that bend from time to time... a little. (and facts i felt need to be said)

1. be civil. it isn't hard. most of you are good at this one, much love ^_^

2. keep the L33T speak down. i've met FAR to many people that use it as an excuse to NOT READ. read, write, its good for the soul. Kip dosn't spellcheck, but she isn't stupid. mispelling are totally cool here, just try to be readable.

3. Don't be mean about my spelling (this is like the baby of rule 1 and 2!) i can honnestly spell, i'm just usually multi tasking or to tired to do it. we all make mistakes, be glad i'm not a doctor.

4. if you have questions, post them here unless its something you would much rather PM. i'm trying to keep the messages i get to a minimum. i already have to fend off people asking for free crap, and that fills up a lot of space. chances are i will get your question much better here (or heck, someone else might know the answer)

facts:
this shop is run by ONE person. but is supported by MANY. i have an unending amount of love for you all and will try my best to make you happy. what does this mean?

means i turn out ONE person's amount of work. this is nothing short of turning coal to diamonds .. okay, probably a bit faster, but still. beware, i DO have a life outside Gaia, as i'm sure you do too. my 'gaia day' when i take care of what i can is Wednesday. pretty much one day a week. i may be on from time to time on other days, but i'm usually doing homework or sitting and drooling braindead after a long day, or cooking dinner. my computer is by my kitchen X3

i also am a bit... prone to being overly excited. and i like using little periods like they are confettii... see? i enjoy it, so i hope it dosn't drive you crazy ^_^' whee.

i like pet trades, mostly because i seem to miss a lot of shops out there and love to see what people are doing. i am EXTREAMLY prone to being suckered into pet trades that involve a Sessomaru, snake, or Vampire Hunter D themed pet. if your curious about doing a trade let me know. if i decline your request PLEASE don't think its because i don't like your pet. it might just have not caught my fancy, or i'm way behind in breedings. I CANNOT properly RP pets, so if this is a huge requirement, be aware before offering.

(non-medusa pet information will go here. basically sometimes the shop gets in other animals, and they too will need homes. these will all be uniquely drawn and colored. so don't expect them often. may be raffled, auctioned or flatsold depending on the pet. ^_^)
