introduction ~

the charity that i have devised is a simple one, yet a somewhat important issue here at gaia online. shoes. did you know that only 30% of gaians wear shoes!? most of this reason is due to the fact that newbies are often overwhelmed with the amount of clothes that they can purchase for their avatar, they foget about shoes. an outfit is only complete when it is matched up with a stellar pair of shoes. but many of these coveted foot wear are ridiculously expensive, it seems that having a kickin' pair of shoes is a luxury only the wealthy have. i know this first hand, while saving up for a pair of shoes, you often get frustrated and move to other, cheaper items that you wish to purchase, and forget about footwear altogether! well the time has come, my fellow gaians, to give gaia the boot!

description ~

how this charity works is simple. you either donate three pieces of clothing to me, or 250 gold. this, in a sense, makes it more of a lottery than a charity, but it is for a good cause. it is doubtful that you would do this, but you may submit multiple amounts of clothing (in threes) or gold (in 250 gold increments) to get more spots in the lotto drawing. you may also mix and match, such as donating three items to me, and then donating 250 gold will get you two spots.

on each wednesday, i will draw two names. the first of those two names, wins the pair of shoes of the week (always valued more 1000 gold or more). the second of the two names gets a free spot in the next weeks drawing. if you feel like you dont want the shoe of the week, feel free to pm me, and i will fully refund your gold/items. all withdrawals must be made before the monday before the drawing.

suggestions for the next shoe of the week will be accepted via pms, please have the title of your pm be: suggestions. any and all procedes will go to my quest for anti-terror steel toe boots, unless it is donated by someone...also, if you wish to help out with this charity, contact me via pms with the title as: charity help. please state your purpose for wishing to assist the charity and qualities that you have that will benefit this organization. any and all constructive critism is welcome, so feel free to post your thoughts in this thread.

rules & regulations ~

1. you may not get more than four spots in any one drawing.

2. you are only allowed to win the lottery once per every 3 months

3. you are not to advirtise your thread in this thread, nor in any onther threads

4. you are not to make continious bumps consequtively (in other words, i dont want to see the next 5 post by one individual just posting bump each time.

5. please keep the posting in this thread as on topic as possible, and be considerate to others
