Caroling event times


PST: Ends: 6AM-NOON Starts: 6PM - 12AM
EST: Ends: 9AM- 3PM Starts: 9PM-3AM
CST: Ends: 8AM-2PM Starts: 8PM-2AM
MST: Ends: 7AM-1PM Starts: 7PM-1AM
GST: Ends: 12AM-12PM Starts: 12AM-12PM

How to carol

1) Go to one of the NPCs (Non-Playable Character) around in the maps.
2) Hit the to sing to the NPC.
3) Wait about 10 min (IRL minutes, 20 Gaian minutes) until you sing to another NPC.
4) The 5th NPC you sing to will give you a giftbox.
5) The giftbox appear in your inventory, but cannot be opened (well duh...it's not 24th yet blaugh )

- 12 pm - 12am GST
(12:00 - 00:00, afternoon-midnight on Gaia maps)

Note that the carol button doesn't show up during the other hours.

What is known so far
------------------------------------------------------------

- You can't sing to the same NPC twice, after you get a present, however, you can sing to them again.
- You get a gift after caroling to 5 NPCs. Some have reported to have gotten their gift on 4th or 6th time.

- The presents cannot be opened yet.
- Logan says: "Christmas and Fishing Doesn't Mix" xd
- You can get more than one giftbox.
- Users have reported that carol count is saved. It doesn't restart the count when you log out or when the stores are down for caroling.

The Presents!

Seems like it depends on the last NPC you sing to on which present you receive.
Update: Color depends on which town. The items says which NPC you got it from. (i.e. Xmas gift from Vanessa)

Calculation (just for fun...)

To get 1 full set from all 9 NPCs available for Christmas caroling:

To get 9 gifts:

5 songs x 9 = 45 songs
45 x 10 min = 450 min = 7h 30 min

7h 30min in real time.

Which is 15 hours in Gaian time.
