Hey Guys!
gaw, I'm so sorry..... but I've had a terrible case of contact dermatitis for a while now and it's been awful D: Been hard to type, hard to eat, hard to drive X_x and yes, hard to draw and CG. I haven't been able to do it for more than a while. My right hand was the least affected and is healing better so hopefully I can get to work. But let's just say that my Spring Break was not cool X_X; I'm just hoping it'll clear up for my birthday (Don't Get Me Anything! >O)
those of you who have kept at it, bravo to you, you guys are awesome and I love you! heart please hold out for me while I recover... X_X;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

Down on a corner of a street in a town you might know sat a little shop. The sign over the door proclaimed it as "The Sweet Tooth." Inside were a hearty collection of chocolates, cakes, cookies and all other delectable desserts. Also inside was the store's owner, a slightly eccentric but good-hearted woman named Schala.
Almost all the stores selection, save for those made in shop, came from the Minnie May Confections Company. Schala had fallen in love with their Cottleston Pie and now sold many of their products.
One day, a package arrived from the company. With it came a note.

To the Lucky Store Owner,
You have been personally selected to test market our newest creation – Minnie May's Marvelous Magic Ice Cream. For the best results, scoop the entire carton into a bowl and leave it out over night.
Your selected flavor is: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. This flavor helps to bring serenity and peace to whoever consults it’s simple wisdom. If you have a problem or just need to talk, turn to Cookie Dough first.
Schala looked over this note for a very long time. "Over night?" She asked herself. "That certainly doesn't sound right... Then, I'd just be left with ice cream soup..."
Still though, she obeyed the card’s suggestion of serving everything at once. Just as she was about to get down to eating, a sudden rush of customers came in. "I'll have to deal with the ice cream tasting later."
Much later it turned out as the stream of patrons didn't subside and Schala forgot all about the ice cream and just went to bed instead. The next morning, she found the large bowl of what indeed appeared to be ice cream soup. "Well, it's no good to me now..." She picked up the bowl and brought it to the sink for washing.
Suddenly, the contents of the bowl stirred and a small voice seem to emanate from inside. "Wait!"
Shocked and surprised, she dropped the bowl into the sink where it landed hard but did not break. She watched as the ice cream began to take a very strange shape. It almost looked... human. No, it wasn't an almost. It did look human, like a little baby. The ice cream baby looked up at her with round chocolate eyes. "Mama?”"
Quite simply, that is how it started. Since then, Cookie Dough has grown-up thanks to Schala's guidance. And now a new letter has arrived-

The Scoops are each made completely of ice cream and sugar. That includes their hair and clothes as well - Those are made from sugar.
Also, their body temperature stays just barely above freezing. (Average temperature for frozen ice cream is 16 Celsius) That's how they keep their viscous shapes.
When a Scoop is young, they have trouble maintaining their shapes and tend to drip everywhere. So be careful when handling one! By the time they are grown though, they can maintain their forms just fine but have the tendency to leave puddles behind if they stand in one place for too long.
A grown-up Scoop is slightly shorter than a human. Males top out around 5' 6" and females are about 5' 2"
Scoops can eat and drink. They thrive on sweets and milk especially.
Here is are the Guidelines for a Scoops growth pattern -
Baby
In the baby stage, Scoops do have the capacity for simple words and phrases. While curious to their surroundings, they usually keep to their bowls as it is dangerous for them to wander too far while they are young.
About half-way through though, they finally gain the stability to be able to move around short distances. Careful though, they still leave a trail of melted ice cream wherever they go.
Child
After a while, a Baby Scoop will be driven to go sleep in a fridge in which they'll transform into a child of about 9 years of age. Now their personality will start to really come through. Also, they now will form an outfit made of sugar (given that they are well-taken care of). As children, they are very active and love to play with both humans and each other. Puddles of melted ice cream in their wake are still found.
Adult
The final stage of Scoop development, after they spend a night in a freezer to finish their growth, ending in the nebulous age range of 18-20. Here their personality is pretty set and some will mellow from their rambunctious childhoods. At this age, they can breed if they so choose. Also, the puddles will finally subside as they take a much more solid shape. Though that might not be the case if they stand in one place for too long...

Flat-Sale
Most common way to buy. Scoops are usually released in sets of three with a writing prompt contest as part of the sale.
Flat-sale price is 6K. Pet Trades may be considered and Installment Plans for paying are always fine.
Auction
Will also include writing prompt that must be checked as up to par before bidding is allowed.
Currently, no Auto-Buy is set... but if I'm offered (gasp) any '03 Item... we'll talk.
Contests
Occasionally, we hold contests that allow people to design their own Scoops.
Adoption
Sometimes an owner can not or does not properly keeping up with their Scoop. In case, the Scoop, in their current state, will go to another. The original owner will be refunded 3K and the Scoop shall be sold for 3K (ie I make no profit from adoptions). A shortened sale shall be set up for the adoption and will run like a normal flatsale. Upon winning, the new owner will be given a new parlor that will link to the original.

Rarities are Scoops which are developed at May Inc but are not sold to the public. Instead they room at the company which keeps them around for observation. (Remember, Scoops are still officially "in-development" so it would prove useful to keep some around.) Nevertheless, they can comminucate with Scoops here at the Sweet Tooth via letters. So, they act as pen-pal cousins. Sometimes they can even come and visit.
Unlike regular Scoops, Rarities are formed as Adults. However, they are not allowed to Breed, excepted under certain circumstances. They are pure Journal pets for the most part save for their own special RP Thread (linked above). Once a month, a Rarity will be chosen at random to come and pay a visit with the other Scoops.
Rarities are normally accquired during Custom Contests, but I may create other opportunities.

Toppings are given away in contests or raffled off. You don't need to own a Scoop to have a Topping, but it is preffered.
