Chapter Two - Durem Bound, or God Bless Bunnyfish Mel-Mel!
Seyli was sitting on floor tying up the laces on her work boots as Gara was grabbing two buckets, various cleaning agents, a mop, 2 scrub brushes, his tool box, and one of them funny brooms that looks like it has a scrub brush on the end. Looking over at AEAI and smiling Seyli asked,
"Whose place are we cleaning first, oh great and mighty orignizer?" The sarcasm in her voice was not lost on AEAI who just gave her a dirty look before answering her, "Edmund's, then Nessa's, Moria's, and then the public buidlings." She rasied a finger, as if anticipating Seyli's question, "The Von Helsons have their own servants, and even if Mel did what alot of people have wanted to do, we aren't touching their home. Unless they're willing to pay us something in the range of one hundred thousand gold."
Seyli laughed, quite glad that she and Gara let AEAI live with them. As she stood up and grabbed some of the gear from Gara, as he put on more sensible shoes then his usual choice of sandals. As he grabbed the rest of the gear, Seyli opened the door and headed out.
"Ah-ha, if I see Mel I'll have to give her a hug!" Seyli spoke cheerfully as she and Gara headed down one of the few paths in Barton that lead toward Durem. She was almost skipping, smiling ear to ear, as Gara seemed to stalk and stomp. The stopped once in front of the Boutique so Seyli could say 'Hello' to Ian, but they quickly continued on their way before Ian could be, well Ian.
Within minitues they were on the road to Durem, Gara seemed to be less grumpy, and was also smiling. That was until someone bumped into them.
"Oi! Watch it!" Came the voice, from a woman around 4'11" tall, wearing a Cowboy hat, and some mighty stylish and femine clothes. Both Gara and Seyli looked at her, first amused, then slightly shocked.
"MEL!" Seyli shouted and pointed, causing the treasure hunter to jump slightly before she reconised the shouter, "Seyli, long time no see..Uh, going to Durem?" Both of them nodded, and told Mel why they were headed there.
"Uh, you guys aren't cleaning up the Von Helsons' place, are you?" Mel seemed less nervious, but still abit jumpy, which wasn't normal, "No, they aren't paying us, so why would we?" Gara answered, getting a simple head shake from Mel.
"No reason! See ya!" Mel quickly left, and headed off to Barton. Most likely to hang around the guildhall and spy on Leon. Seyli raised an eyebrow and Gara merely shrugged, they continued on to Durem.
