++::Story::++
In the heart of Gaia (the soul of mother earth) there lay a land untouched by any human. There the horses were not afraid of man, for they had never seen one. The weather was slightly cool, perfect for young horses to grow and live. The hillsides beneath the mountains were covered in forests of thousands of species of trees. Horses took cover from many dangers here.
In this land there were two great herds. One of them was led by a quarter horse named Storm, who had escaped from the human, and the other by a stunning fire-chestnut mustang who had no name as the humans had yet to see him. Of course there were many other herds, but none shared the glory these two herds did. Their days of glory were not to last.
Humans, on their never-ending quest, found this large sanctuary beneath the Itogg Mountains. The valley was rich and green all year round, crops would flourish here. The government wanted to destroy the land and farm it, but they were disappointed. Under the laws the first person to find it had a right to a claim of any of the land. Of course, they took all of it and the government never saw it again.
However, the two great herds were slowly eating away the rich grass and barren dirt patches could be seen popping up in many places. Looking for food, the two herds crept up on human society. People saw the horses? abundant numbers and had an idea. There were so many, that they could be killed and sold to other countries for their meat. Soon they began to hunt the horses into the territory. There was no place to put signs and no law preventing them from doing so. Eventually the government sent in helicopters to round up stray horse herds that were found in human territory. Storm was brilliant and stayed far away from anything involving a human, but her herd was not so smart. In the humans grasp they were all slaughtered and she was left with nothing, trying to piece together another herd. The chestnut stallion was more fortunate. His group worked together better, but in their constant hiding there was not enough food for foals. His herd began to dwindle, but still held a spark of life.
Horse-lovers everywhere knew something had to be done. They addressed the courts and did countless hours of research on ways to protect the horses and the land. They struck on something large, which would keep the horses safe. As long as the population stayed below a set amount the horses could not be hunted on their protected land. They worked together and signed a petition claiming the land protected and worked out a reasonable number for the horse limit. In addition, people could adopt horses, so that no person could kill them without facing severe criminal laws. Any adopted horse found off the land would be transported back to the homeland in such a frightening way that they may not travel back again. When the population was too large people would bring the horses home and train them. All people with adopted horses were welcome to live in a small complex beneath the Itogg Mountains that the horse-lovers had established. Every adopted horse keeps these rare horses safe to live long and happy lives.
"This is a ficticious world and occurence, the storyline is based off occurences of the Wild West, though this is not America or any place in existence on earth."

Started setting up the new location for the Equestrian Sanctuary. If you were wondering why I was naked it is because gaia glitched when I tried to save changes to my Avi. XD
