Great issue all 'round though. I'm just a little surprised we've made it to issue 4 though surprised . Seems only a little while ago we started with naught but a little thread...

Yeah, I'm pretty surprised myself...seeing as how this issue was pretty much thrown together by a stressed out panicky me. stressed

I plan to bring that up in a somehow brought-about staff meeting...................

Thank you for wading through the dreck for me. I don't think I would have made it otherwise. There's a lot of dreck, and I'm a small person.

Mmm... it could be. I'm using Firefox, so.

*gives Kraeela a large cookie* In lieu of me sounding less lame anyway gonk (Since my part in this has always been somewhat limited... buy hey, at least you didn't have to chew me out at the last minute for being a lazy git with the new banners). Hopefully next issue won't be so stressful. heck, maybe I'll actually be able to fulfill my original role as critic, seeing as holidays are nearly upon me..

I like the issue and, of course, have a question:

What about the submissions before Gaia had its problems? Were they archived and then the staff never got to them or what? Cuz I know there were several submissions (mine included) somewhere in the poetry subforum... were they just lost?

Krause: Didn't we publish you last time too? What I have to say is your work is always above standard, and as a writer, you're a dream to work with! We never have to deal with hissy-fit diva I'm-too-good-for-the-editing-process junk some editors get from other writers. I just want to point this out because, in real life, eidtors do consider your attitude towards constructive crititicism as a basis to print you or not.

Seoha: We make it a point to wade -- er, read -- all submissions made. Of course, we can only publish so many poems and stories a month, so those that we like the best are published immediately. Those that are chosen as good are kept in archive till next month.

Every issue I am enthralled and inspired by your Point! What's your point? section. Allowing people to vent usually creates some of the best reading material and makes the sunday papers so much more interesting to read, keep it up.

Okay, thanks. I wasn't sure because on the sub form we had to put if you guys could critique and stuff, so I was just assuming we got SOME sort of response, whether or not it was used.
