Welcome to my revised art request thread. This craving began when Mae Noelle held an art contest for her and her imaginary boyfriend, Uriel. The addiction was born, or fueled more. And it grew by leaps and bounds when Kokoryta held her own art contest.

So here I am again, with a much prettier thread, requesting for arts for my avatar and a few of my OCs. I love recieving free art, no matter how simple. However, I'm definately looking for commissions. Please post samples, price range, and whether you'd accept letters/items.
  • Please don't post saying you were overlooked.

    I frequent alot of threads and there are times that I just disappear from the computer all together. It may take awhile for me to respond to you all, but I will get to it and I do read every page in here.

  • Please post samples here, including estimated price ranges. Do NOT PM me samples, they will just get lost in my inbox. Post them here or my mule account Eve Mule, and if I am interested I will reply to you in the thread or PM you to arrange more information.

  • Please try and avoid just linking me to your auction, since I prefer one on one commissions much, much more.

  • Please do not draw me and then expect that I will pay you. I will sometimes randomly tip for gift art, especially for users in need. However I only will guarentee payment for art that I commission. This means that we work out an agreement prior to you making the art.

  • If I choose not to commission you, it does not mean that your art sucks and I hate it and you should go and be miserable and cry! Most likely it simply means that it's of a style that I'm not looking for at the time. I have definite preferences, and sometimes certain things just grab me more than others.

  • Please stay around and chat or bump if you have the time.

March 2, 2006 - Well, it appears that there are anti-charity auction thoughts spreading across the R/C and other sections of the Art area. Personally, I am annoyed by how these people are thinking. They feel that these are hosted out of sheer greed. Excuse me while I laugh at the foolishness and the obvious sounds of jealousy, but a charity auction is very similar to Charities found in the Charity/Quest Subforum, but because artists don't want to dip too far into their own bank, they are willing to offer their talent to friends in hopes that it will gain a large sum for their friend. This is a charitable act that they are doing, but to others, it's seen as greedy and I am personally sick of this view. If you want to judge me by what I'm asking for, then go ahead. You lack what I do else where on this site and I personally find it your loss.
March 11, 2006 - Well, I'm broke right now, so I can't take any further, high priced commissions. I can only accept anywhere below 10k right now. I'll be sure to stock back up in the next week.

Until Death Do Us Part

These edits are representations of myself and my love. To the left is my roleplay character, Evelyn Nyht. To the right is Royal Guard Aidian Kyros's roleplay characer, Aidian Kyros. Yes, they are a couple. Yes, I do want couple art of them, no singles.

Evelyn is one inch over five feet where Aidian is eight inches taller than her. Aidian is her strong point, she turns to him when things get too tough for her. But Aidian does have his moments when he needs her. The draw on one another for support, but are friends first and foremost.

Evelyn is seen in a wide arrangement of clothes, but her usual is seen in the edit above. Some of her other outfits include her thief gear, where she wears tight black pants, wore, old black leather boots, and a tight fitting black top. Her hair is usually in a braid with this outfit. Another one is a loose white shirt that is buttoned up about two and a half inches from the center of her chest. The shirt is tucking into form-fitting black pants which are thus tucked into mid-calf high boots. More information about Evelyn can be found in a post below.

Aidian only has one other outfit. His armor. It's entwined with gold, silver, green and blue. For a better idea, you can look at his profile here.

You may show Eve looking content in his arms, you may show her with tears brimming her eyes, you may show her kissing him. I'll even accept images a over PG-13.

Normal Wear

I am commonly seen in a varity looks similar to these, always flopping between G-LOL Blood Mistress Skirt, G-LOL Dark Mistress Skirt, Hot Basic Skirt, Grey University Skirt, Those Red 90s Pants, Those Black 90s Pants, Black Vintage Closed-Toe Mid Heel, and Red Wine Pimpin' Platforms. I am never without the pimin' hat in this outfit since it was my first major buy.

Pom Pom

Gaia Spirit Week was February 13 - 17, 2006 where all of GAIA was to dress up like you would for homecoming week at your highschool. On the 15th, there was color war day and each year was required to dress in a color, purple being for 2004. To match better, I broke away from my usual Red Silk and tried the Black Pom for two days. Luckily, I found three outfits that work very nice with the hairstyle.

Red Eve

Trying to find a pirate look on GAIA but lacking some actual pirate items. This is Red Eve in GAIA form and she's suppose to have the fishnets and heels (being that she's French). She sings, she fights, she jokes. She humorous.

Please have her being flirtatious with cleavage exposed and a silver ring on left hand with the fan. The slit on the side can be higher as well. She is the essence of seduction.

The scarf can change directions when it flows downwards. The headdress needs to be changed to a black instead of the white on it. G Pin can be removed.

The Ace of Spades is actually a symbol of death, which adds on the quote "I hold death in my hand." You are more than welcome to have me holding the card similar to how Gambit from X-Men held cards between his fingers.

Playboy Bunny

This should be coming from the back angel or a flirtatious look over the shoulder. If you want to do a more frontal pose, please have the Luscious Red Skimpy Swim Top cover the lower portion of her breasts better and bulging from the top part instead. The Solar Headdress (Solar Flare) will be without the gold armbands and necklace, so it gives the appearance of wings, or you may use the AngelBow as wings instead. The normal avatar ears should not be visible at all. The Light Grey Leg Warmers can match the stockings of Felicia's Graceful Shoes. Neckline, you are more than welcome to do with as you please, but it seems really empty when there is nothing there.

She is flirtatious, but she is dangerous. The meaning of the Spade applies to this outfit as well.

Appearance: For something as small as her, she draws quite a bit attention from her appearance. Standing just a little over five feet, she's of slim build and often dressed in a dress of this style, but in an assortment of colors. She wears simple black slippers that make little sound upon the ground. It's not her dress sence that catches other's eyes, but her physical looks with long dark red hair. Her skin has taken on a golden glow that draws even more attention to her mismatched eyes. And she is never seen without her necklace that hangs low between her breasts.
Other Outfit Options:
Thief/Stealth - When she is out on a mission, her usual dress is a dark forest green, tight fitting top and tight clad black pants with soft, well-worn leather boots.
Armor - When she's out on the field, she is seen in full-plate armor with leather shoulder plates. The leather encircles her collar that holds the extra piece down with studs. She has a fully enclosed helmet with horse hair streaming from the top where a feather plume would be. She wears a cape draped over one shoulder and her breast plate has the trinity symbol with the circle in the center, with more links on either side at the bottom.

Weapons
Dagger: (x3) Smaller versions of swords that can easily be hidden under cloth or within a boot. It is normally used for close combat and assissnation. These are normally hidden on Evelyn in three areas, hip and boots/inner calves.

The hilt is made of iron with lace work knots etched into the metal. The blades are four to five inches in length made of sterling steel to keep the blade from rusting with disuse and for easy cleaning maintence. Scroll work is etched onto the blades granting accuracy and deadly strikes. These were hand-crafted by Evelyn's brother, Tentius Nyht.

Quarterstaff: Made of oak to the length of four feet, Evelyn's staff is normally used to enhance magic and defense. Her mother, Calien Nyht, picked out the wood from the forest just outside their villiage and had it sent off to be crafted, giving specific instructions for it to hold magical properties. A notch was carved out at the top so magical stones that Evelyn carries with her could be slipped in to intensify their properties.

Light-weight Sword: Reaching out about three feet and made of sterling steel and iron, this sword was created by Eveyln's father, Amandos Nyht. The metal is light weight, almost like air to a skilled heavy blade warrior when carried. The hilt is designed with anceint Aenklesus runes giving strength to the weilder. The blade itself is left bare, but there is a dim blue light that comes from the steel guiding the swordsman to their target.

Light Orb
A small ball of light that can be formed in the palm of the hands. It is about one foot in diameter that can be easily carried or left on the ground to light the way. The spell lasts for a duration of two hours unless properly extinguished by the caster. The orb does not burn, nor does it do any harm except a minor blinding if stared at directly.

An intense light shield that has a radius of ten feet that surrounds the caster from air and underground attacks. In the first few tries, it was weak and only lasted for fifteen minutes, but after Evelyn's "transformation" this spell will last for as long as the battle duration.

Regenerative

"Thys tia myr, sai os. Tae si eilol vaerysi eir sar shos shar oli shyli." ((Translation: "From my soul, to yours. May the ancients restore all that which was once whole." wink )

One of the more complex healing spells. A light radiates directly from the caster's heart and slowly spills it's way towards her hands until is flows over the person she is attempting to heal. The spell tends to reach it's full power when both the caster and the target glow an unearthly white. All internal injuries are healed within five minutes but causes alot of drain on the caster where they will either feel very weak or pass out from the spell's power.

Sacrifice
A powerful healing spell, so powerful that the user sacrifices their own life in the process of saving the other. This spell will heal all injuries instantly, no matter how critical the damage. The energy of the soul can be seen clearly in the process of casting, a large white orb that forms from the broken white light that surrounds the caster. The target will feel no abnormalites, no thoughts or memories will be shared between them and the caster. No replase will occur if any other spell or entity tries to reverse the magic or cause old wounds to show. Sacrifice has been known to remove battlescars as well because it makes everything whole once more and "perfect." This is to be used only in emergencies, one-time use only.

User ImageBackground: The Aenklesus, had lived for centuries, thriving and gathering the knowledge and history of other cultures. The average life span was roughly 6000 years, when the elders appeared to be in their 30s to humans. Their aging is very different from other races though. The children mature as all do, growing and developing normally. It slowly begins to slow down until they look the age of 12 to 14 where every 200 years equals one year to humans.

The Elves called them "Commae N'ner Edan," Timeless Man because they did not appear to age as rapidly as man. They would, in time, but they had the ages like the Elves. The two would often be found together, debating about historical facts and teaching one another wizardry and fighting techniques.

Born a little more than half a millennium ago, Evelyn had a very simple life. She had a normal family, mother, father, and an older brother. It was a very warm and loving environment, teaching her to have patience and compassion for all around her. They passed on an appreciation of nature and all things that came from the earth they walked upon.

When she was 1000 years old, she was sent to a lone community to learn the ways of magic and fighting. She was best with the elements because she had a deeper connection than any who had passed through the town and training. Her gifts were remarkable and just gazing down upon a stone, she could identify the root element is contained within.

She was taught swordsmanship, but she lacked the strength behind it. So she was taught several different techniques. Her agility was remarkable after a few centuries of training, so she would move in quickly and swing when there was an opening. Under no circumstances was she to block with her sword for the vibration and sudden numbing would make her swings weaker.

Evelyn was much better with the close combat strategies; stealth was required for all of them. Her handy work was with a dagger. Footsteps as quiet as a feather's fall and then a suddenly heat of a blade across the throat, one porcelain hand pressed firmly against the mouth to muffle the cry. Then a quick blow to the gut, twisting it as she pulled out of the body, crimson staining the blade. She carried three upon herself, each concealed in easy access areas for if anyone should ever draw to close.

Between studying dusty spell books and exhausting her body from training, she would curl up with one of the many history books that lined the wall of her room. She studied the ways of the old, things that most cannot recall and do not know. But sitting idly and allowing the world to pass her by while she gained more skills was trying on her free-spirited soul.

Evelyn finally passed all her training when she was well over 2000 years and finally left the village, but not returning home. She sent a letter to her family speaking of her yearning to travel and see the world up close than through the volumes of books or the passing words of a traveler.

She journeyed all over the known world, starting where Scotland is now. She traveled upon a ship and explored the old world of Ireland with the tribal people journeyed without unification. But soon, the French and German lands called to her, speaking of a culture of peaceful yet simple community, the Celts.

Evelyn was fascinated by these people. They gave power to their women, were simple farmers, but lacked a political structure. Their knowledge of the earth astounded her and she spent many years in their company, learning the craftsmanship of weave and metal work. The knots intrigued her and were just as symbolic to her as to them.

Her journeys lead her all over the European world, learning from the Greeks, the Romans, the Egyptians, and then Christianity began to spread. The word of the mouth was finding faster, more reliable ways to reach travelers and it was then that she learned of her parents' death.

She began her way home, a sad and heavy heart as she went. She could sense an impending doom, but shrugged it off. When her eyes caught the sight of where she had once grown up at, there was nothing there. Barren trees and nothing but ruins laid about the land. Her people were now one with the histories of all others.

Appearance: She looks out over the sea, her numerous braids of dark red hair whipping slightly in the wind with a hat set jauntily upon her head. Dark green eyes look out, a scar running down the right one that is occasionally covered with an eye patch when ashore. There is a hard look upon her features, one with little care. Though she doesn't look strong, there is strength hidden in the slender female. A red ruffled shirt rests off her shoulders, revealing small, well-rounded, young breasts. A necklace is resting in the middle of her breasts that she is never seen without. Her hips are well rounded under the red skirt that splits up the center. Well shaped calves can be seen under the dark fishnet stockings and accented nicely with the low heeled shoes. A red and gold sash is draped over her shoulders and a whip wrapped about her waist. Aside from her scar, she is an enchanting beauty, but with a stubborn will.
Other Outfit Options:
Pirate - She wears something very similar to this, but the bodice and blue overskirt are both read. Her shirt is white and off the shoulders and the underskirt is black. She wears boots like the black ones on the right.
Land Gown - She has very elegant taste, so her gown would be just as elaborate as this one. But the blue would be a dark emerald green. She would wear simple slippers that are black.

Personality: Though her looks don't say she is of good-nature, she is quick to laughter and the first to joke, though they are mostly of the dirty kind. She knows how to keep the spirits around her up and knows what loyalty is, even if it's lacking in some pirates. Always the first to start up a cord of sea shanties with a wonderful, talented voice that makes all hearts swell. But when the need arises, she is a stone-cold killer and won't stop till the job is done. There is no changing her mind once it is set because she is just as stubborn as a mule. She is a fierce warrior and a knowledgeable ally.

Background: Piracy is in her blood. Born and raised near the sea, her father, Roger Ermenegilde Champney, was a fearsome pirate, looting the known seas. Her mother, Marthe Claudine Marceline Champney, was of the respectable sort, but feared her daughter would follow in the footsteps of her father. Her parents were divorced when she was six-years-old, so she lived most of the year on land with her mother where she learned things a lady should know and even that which was not to be wasted on females, such as history. During the summer she was found onboard The Damned Dream with her father where she learned to strategize, sword fight, and man a ship. She learned as much as she could about the trade her father had mastered for there was a love of the sea in her veins.

At the age of 14, her father's ship was taken by the Spanish and executed for his foul deeds. Her mother did not know what to do with the girl, so after two years of the girl's mourning she set her on her own near the seashore. The ocean called to Eve for six months before she ventured out to the docks in search of a ship needing crew members.

Not many would have a young woman on board fearing that the men would be tempted to use her for their pleasure. As skilled as she was, her dream to be on the sea was dashed captain after captain. She attempted to sneak onboard a few in her desperation, but was always caught.

Finally, after a year and a half of trying to finally venture out onto the open seas, she bought passage on a ship to take her to an island, an island known for piracy and those willing to recruit. She faked a shopping spree to look for the extravagant and that island was guaranteed to have anything that would be out of the ordinary. She was finally on her way at the age of 17.

When the ship docked, she departed company with the crew and captain and traveled into one of the local inns. She purchased to stay in one of the rooms for a night and quickly changed. Key stowed away safely, she made her was to the nearest tavern where a fight had broken out. A young woman was in the middle of the foray. The woman shot a quick look to her before calling out to Eve to come and help her out. Eve jumped into the middle of it, pulling out her whip and snapping it at the feet of the men. They both quickly pushed back the attackers and soon the tavern was back to its quiet atmosphere.

The young woman invited her to a drink. They sat down together and spoke casually to each other. She said her name was Esmeralda Grace Akaino and she was part of a pirate ship. Eve spoke of her father and the ship he called home yearly, The Damned Dream. It wasn't a well known ship and crew, but Esmeralda acted as though she had known them all her life. Esmeralda excused herself, saying she had to return to her ship.

Blue Eye Edward heard about the skills and femine qualities of the young lady. Esmeralda had said, "For such a girly-girl, she did know what she was doing." So he went to find this French girl, seeing how she was close to Esmeralda's age and could probably teach her how to actually be a woman.

Eve was still sitting at the tavern enjoying the cool brew that was quickly refilled by the men around her. She could feel the effects and slowled her drinking, making it seem as though she was having more when Edward came in looking for her. Walking up behind her, he whispered that he knew her father, "Red" Roger, and it was a shame the ending he met. He invited her to join him and his crew on the Lucid Destiny. Eve took on her father's name of "Red" and began her adventures with The Red Pirate.
