Hello, brothers and sisters, welcome to the Anti-Emo Guild, we are a group of people who are sick and tired of a trend that is quickly taking hold of today's youth. This trend is "Emo", Emo being a term that at one point in time stood for a type of music. Emo stands for Emotive Hardcore, a type of music that gained underground popularity in the early to mid 1990's. But the dominant part of the Emo Scene seems to think that emo is a fashion rather than a style of music. We are against the scene kids that scratch their wrists with paper clips, propagate depression as a way to be cool, and who think that they are "sensitive" by whining about their middle to upper class lives. We are against bearing scars as fashion, pity mongering, and really bad music. Our guild boasts having the two captains from the two most prestigious Emo guilds on Gaia; as well we have a large membership made up of Metalheads, Ravers, Goths, Punks, and members from most other subcultures there are.
Inside you will be greeted by intelligent Anti-Emos, much like yourself. Join now whether you're an Anti-Emo, or just someone who is curious.
Note: Being an Anti-Emo is not an excuse to be an a*****e. We hate all those little scene kids just as much as the next guy, but if you don't even know what emo is and only hate it because your buddy hates it and you "hav 2 go wit t3h fluw" then you, my friend are in the wrong place. This is a place for debate, fun, learning. If you are just an Anti-Emo as an excuse to flame people and get in fights, you're a douche bag, and you will be open to flaming from all of our members. Much lulz shall ensue.
To Join:
1.Send a request that covers the reasons WHY you'd like to join this guild.
2.Make sure your request isn't lacking in grammar. (Try your hardest >_> wink
3.Requests that say things like: "I hate emos" and "emos r gay" Will not be accepted.
Rules of the Guild:
1. If you're just here to try and flame us dont even bother requesting, once youre in here we will ban you so quick your head will spin, but we may let our members at you first, dont say we didnt warn you. surprised
2. Try to be as literate as you possibly can, spell words 50+% of the time.
3. Try not to SPAM.
