Learn To Animate Using Flash
___________________________________________________________________
Welcome to the Flash Guild! Although we are certainly not the first Animation guild on Gaia, I do believe that we are currently the most active and promising. Whether you're trying to learn how to use Flash, want to communicate with other Flash Artists, or simply want to hang out and watch the movies created by the guild, this is the place for you!

Rules
1. Respect everyone.
Yes, even the newest members. Just because you have over 100 posts doesn't mean that you can come down on those with only 10 posts. However, you do have the right to keep them in line if they're getting out of hand, or seriously need to buy a dictionary.
2. Follow the TOS.
Probably the most basic rule we have. If you've been posting to the Gaia Forums for at least a month, this rule should be no problem for you. Users who break the TOS will be either warned or banned, depending upon the severity of the offense.
3. Topic titles.
First of all, please keep swearing out of the topic titles. "Hell" and "Damn" are acceptable, but anything more than that is overkill. Also, when asking for help, please give an idea what you need help with. Instead of saying 'I need help,' say something like 'Help with importing music' or 'Help with fbf.' It gives us an idea of what we're working with before we even enter the topic.
4. No begging.
If your first post is a topic asking for gold, you will be banned immediately. No ifs, ands, or buts. If you still insist on asking for donations (Not wise), please keep all requests in the Chatterbox forum. You are only allowed one topic, and will be warned if you make another.
5. Post in the right forums.
Please try to keep your topic in the correct forum. If you have something to show, post it in the Flash Showcase section. If you have a helpful tip or resource, post it in the Resources section. If your topic has nothing to do with Flash or animation whatsoever, post it in the Chatterbox section.
6. Make new threads responsibly.
Don't make seven copies of the same topic or post a new topic with similar information. If you're asking a question and it hasn't been answered yet, be patient. Either no one knows how to help you, or the person that could help you isn't online yet. Not only is posting the same topic annoying, it's a quick way to get yourself warned or banned.
7. No advertising.
Now, this doesn't mean that you can't post links to great sites that have Flash information or movies. We're talking about advertising your charity, quest, guilds, or donation topics. If your guild pertains to Flash, animation, or art, send a message to one of the mods and we'll see if we can set up some kind of an affiliate program!
8. Have fun!
The most important rule! This guild is here to help you learn how to animate and use Flash! It's also here to help you make new friends in the animation community, or gain critiques and tips to help your work reach its full potential.

Want to join?
When sending a join request, please include the following:
-Why you want to join.
-Flash/animation experience. (will not determine if you'll be accepted)
-How you found the guild.
Now, when giving your reasons for why you want to join, don't say something like 'i think flash iz kewl' or 'i wunna watch moveez.' Not only are you using horrible spelling, but your reasons are downright disgraceful. Just a simple sentence will do. Example:
-Why you want to join.

-How you found the guild.

-I want to join because I think Flash is cool, and I have no animating experience.
You're in! Easy as that. Oh, and copying pasting that sentence won't get you in. We want to hear YOUR reasons in YOUR own words.
Donating
At this time, we are accepting donations straight to the guild, as we need a few new forums. In the future, however, send all donations to the Guild Mule so we have funds to buy prizes for guild events:

Thank you from the entire Flash Guild Staff!
