Rules:

Conduct
Be respectful to each other. Do NOT flame, yell, harass, or be hurtful to anyone else in the Rockers Guild. This guild was originally made to get away from the bashing! This includes guild members, Moderators, oldbies, newbies, and everyone in between. This ESPECIALLY includes the “Emos.” If you feel like you simply cannot post anything nice, then please just refrain from posting.
Remember We Are Still New
Please be patient, as we try to make subforums for all of the rock types. The most requested will come first, assuming we have the funds for it. If you would like a PARTICULAR style of rock subforum to go up first, please make a petition in a thread. Get at least 100 signatures, and you will be bumped up the list. (We are going to see how this works, if it does not, then we will just dump it.)
Post in the Appropriate Place
Each subforum has a description alerting you to what does and does not belong there. While Moderators do have the ability to move topics between the subforums, habitual posting in the wrong subforums by any member is wrong and will be considered spam. With the addition of the new subforums it can get a little tricky, but they're pretty self explanatory. Please use the subforums to keep the clutter down. If you'd like a thread moved, please PM any Moderator to let us know.

Bumping
While bumping your topic IS allowed, we ask that you only bump if your topic has fallen off the first index page and is still unanswered. This is a slow-moving guild (for now), please give us time to see your post and respond before you lose all hope and start bumping. Constant, repeated, nonstop bumping will be considered spam.



Role Play Rules:

KEEP Role Plays in proper sub forums. Place them where you think they should be! If you want it to be revolved around romance but want it to be sci-fi and fantasy, then you can post it in either one, BUT NOT BOTH!

NO God-moding unless your given godlike powers, this is controlling any other character, the weather, the plot, or the surroundings. You control YOURSELF and ONLY yourself. (Only the author of the forum can mess with the weather.) REMEMBER: You're characters aren't all powerful: so don't make it so they can hit every shot they're aiming at, or can never be hit by someone. EVERY character has a weakness.

DO NOT end the Role Play before it starts.

DO NOT fight or talk out of character during a Role Play

UNLESS you are contributing to one.

NO popping in to a Role Play and not giving some thing logical and worthy to the plot. If you join a Role Play, stick to it.

DO NOT leave unless you give others warning. Being in multiple Role Plays are acceptable.

DO NOT bump or spam. If your Role Play is having problems with getting played, change your title in your first post, and see how it goes then. Bumping it will not attract people to your thread, when they see all those bumps they’ll think “wow, this guy’s a loser” and leave.

DO NOT run away with the plot, DO NOT do more than four posts between you and another person at a time (that’s two for each of you) if you do one on one Role Plays in a public plot, you're going to lose all the other players, and make them feel discouraged. No one wants to read 3 pages between two people talking.

ANY Role Play that has gone two months with no posts WILL BE DELEATED

BAD SPELLING is okay UNLESS you are in the LITERATE section. Repeated misuse of grammar in the Literate section will result in a suspension from the guild.

PLEASE don't make fun at "newbies" or "n00bs" you were new once too, and they don't deserve to be antagonized for being new to a guild that says we welcome everyone.

BE only your character. Multiple characters played by one person in one thread are NOT acceptable.

DO your best to limit what you write. Don't be vague, but don't describe every dust or molecule within a 1 mile radius. Keep yourself to two-three short paragraphs or less.

KEEP to your biography; please don't add random powers to yourself because it’s convenient. It’s not for the rest of us.

WATCH your language. This guild is open to all people this means, Christians/other religions, atheists young kids, older adults, and teens. DONT cuss or insult any of these. Flaming and cussing is not allowed

CYBERING is NOT allowed! It has been taken away from gaia. You may kiss, hug, hold hands and cuddle, or limit to "blank and blank made love" but DO NOT go detailing about your adventure.
