Descent into Oblivion is a general roleplaying and discussion guild, where we will discuss, debate, and roleplay anything and every thing under the sun and moon. The guild is still in its infancy - but with helpful, active members - we hope to become a lively guild for the literate and advanced members of Gaia Online.

The Rules
1. The most important rule is of course, be literate. This is a literate guild. We will not keep members in this guild who cannot stay on, at the very least, an advanced semi-literate level.
2. Follow the Gaian Terms of Service - keep all romance PG-13, no links to poorly tasted content, etc.
3. "If you have nothing nice to say, then say nothing at all." - Friendly debates are welcomed and encouraged, however - don't get into a screaming (a.k.a. caps lock) fight, keep the debates to a level where your point is made, but not forced, and voice them once - the guild mods are stubborn people and commonly won't change their opinions - but we won't voice them over and over.
4. Do not question the mods.
How To Apply
If you would like to apply to our guild, the only thing we require is that you prove your literacy - write us a paragraph (roleplaying or otherwise), a poem, or something; we just want to know that you are literate. Use of advanced language (correctly) is also appreciated.
How to Become Crew
If you would like to join Descent into Oblivion's crew - we will require that you have posted, referred, and/ore donated a decent amount in/to the guild. Annoying the captains with your requests will only lower your chances of getting into crew - we will discuss the matter both in the forum and outside of it (the captains of the guild all live within 10 minutes of eachother).
Donations
Donations are loved and accepted - but please note that if you would like to donate your money into the contest funds, then we require you send us the donation in a trade, rather then through the system provided - as we cannot access that gold. However, if you want to put forth some money to create a subforum, then please - donate it and PM us, and we will create your desired subforum.
