It has been twenty years since the Fiend War, and it is still going. Rumors go about that the Auldelens come to seek their own salvation. Where do they come from? Only the skies. And no one knows from whence they came.
The Elens of Archaea-gaea hide behind domes powered by gears and steam---their desert empire powered entirely by steel, machines, and vapor. Though the Elens may the more physically weak of the two races, their ingenuity and earthly resources are a force to be reckoned with.
The Auldelens of Neo-gaea, pressured by their dying planet and their failing gods, do whatever they can to preserve their way of life. Armed with the gifts nature has given them, the Auldelens plot the conquest of Archaea-gaea in a frantic attempt to save their people and fulfill an age-long promise.
Between them lie the halflings, those spawned from both races, who belong everywhere yet nowhere. Forced to mingle amidst those that reject them, halflings understand the delicate balance between both races and the need for peace between them.
