Introduction


+ Set on rolling fields of brightest green is the exclusive Habiki High School, a school for teens with a unique ability.

+ Inspired by the popular anime and manga Fruits Basket, all the students of Habiki High have the ability to change into animals. Unlike Fruits Basket, however, this ability isn't limited to just one family of cursed individuals. Being hugged by the opposite sex still triggers the change, as well as a weakening of the body. Also, becoming very nervous or anxious can make a person change as well.

+ The plot for this game begins at the beginning of the school year, with the arrivals of the "fresh meat". A few of the staff members have vacated their positions, having become tired of the learning environment. Therefore, there are plenty of staff positions available!

+ Keep in mind that this roleplay is shounen-ai and shoujo-ai. For those of you who don't know what that is, it means this game contains boy on boy and/or girl on girl lovin'. If you don't like it, get out now! We don't need any flames about how we're horrible heathens so please take your close-minded attitudes elsewhere. This game is meant to contain mostly male x male relationships, though females are welcome.




The Rules




01. Be LITERATE!! We cannot stress this enough. This is a literate game for literate players. Not to say that you can't typo or short-post .. you can! We do all the time. We just don't want to see "he wuz wlking to the stor reel fast cuz...etc." or any LEET (1337) or any ChatSpeak (meaning no LOL or BRB or AFK or ROTFL or any of that). Also, please try to avoid using "::" or "**" or "~~" or any of those such things to denote actions. Think of it as writing a story. We can tell what your dialogue is by your use of quotation marks ("" wink around your words. Also, one-liners are discouraged.

02. No godmoding, twinking, puppet-mastering, etc. Just generally do not try to make anyone else's character do anything. Especially in a battle setting, you must allow your attacks to have a chance of missing. Your attacks must be attempts and you may not block your opponent's attack every single time. Chances are something will hit you eventually because you are not God. Thank you.

03. The Gaia TOS is law around here. Abide by those rules and everyone's happy. Habiki is set on Gaia, and this means that Gaia's rules are also our rules. Please don't break Gaian rules. If you feel the urge to write smut, take it to PMs or AIM or what have you. You just can't have smut here. Sorry! It's not up to us. Because believe me, if it was, this would be a smut-based game. >D

04. There is a two character limit. This means you can only play do seperate characters (duh) and you are only allowed the second once we've seen your dedication to the game (and provided that you haven't broken any rules 'n' such).

05. Oh, and on the topic of dedication .. please try to stay dedicated. Please don't join if you plan on doing anything grounding-worthy a week later so that you end up disappearing suddenly. If you have to go away for a period of time please let a moderator know, so we don't mistakingly remove you from the game. No activity for two weeks and your character(s) are removed from the accepted characters list. If you've told us ahead of time that you're going to be away, then you're fine. Also, please try to post at least three times a week. Any more than that and we will love you forever, but keep three times a week as your absolute minimum. Everyday would be nice. ;D

06. Please, no homophobia. We really don't want to hear about it OOC. Your characters are free to be as homophobic as you like, but please don't take it out-of-character. Don't offend anyone. We have a zero tolerance policy for out-of-character homophobia. It's wrong and you need to keep your feelings to yourself and leave if you don't like it. Because we will not tolerate your crap.

++ Mandatory Classes:
+ Physical Education

Six classes per student. That means you get to choose five classes from the Elective list to go along with your Phys. Ed. period.





Allowed Animal Species


A necessary precaution because this can be somewhat confusing. We don't want to see any dragons or unicorns or whales running around, so there are restrictions as to what are considered acceptable animal species.

+ Your species must exist on Earth. No unicorns, gryphons, dragons, centaurs, etc. No mythological creatures. No exceptions!

+ If your animal is a LAND species it can be no larger than a bear. Yes, this means no giraffes or elephants.

+ If your animal is a MARINE species it can be no larger than a medium sized fish (like a trout or carp). Seals, sea lions, and walruses are allowed (meaning, any large animals must be able to get around on land on their own). No whales, dolphins, porpoises, man-eating sharks. Small fish and sharks are allowed.

+ Basically, no ridiculous animals and no ridiculously large animals. Nothing extinct either. No raptors or anything of the sort.

+ If you have a question as to whether or not your species will be accepted put on your application anyway and if it's not acceptable we'll help you find one that is. ^^
