This Village, as it is now, has been resurrected from a Village that was destroyed during the Great Ninja War of the past. Most members lost their parents during that war and were displaced. When the Village was reconstructed, the young ninja began returning, even if they didn't know they came from this Village before. Most of the clans that formed within the Village were also displaced remnants of the old Village clans.

The Ketushai clan was formed from the fracturing of a larger clan, the Zoukyou clan, for unknown reasons, into the Ketushai and the wanderers. Nekage and Soul were from the original clan, but split ways during the fracture. The Akuma and Tashu clans formed from displaced elementalist ninja, each with their own ideas as to how to best become an elementalist ninja. Several smaller clans formed and dissolved during the rebuilding.

The Ichijin were the dominant clan in the original Village and were one of the main reasons why the Village fell. A small sect formed within the Village that challenged the social norm of the time. They tried to, through genetic manipulation and selective breeding, create the ultimate ninja. They called themselves The White Hand. The Ichijin, who were also the majority of the original ANBU, took it upon themselves to track down this sect and eliminate it. During the war, The White Hand, with their shady allies, launched a surprise attack on the Village and destroyed it. Both sides inflicted heavy casualties on the other, but the Gaioh Village was stronger, and The White Hand and their allies were driven into hiding.

The Village was rebuilt and within a few years the displaced ninja began filtering back. During the rebuilding, a split between some of the surviving and displaced ninja occurred. Following Nekage, more than half of the ninja left to train on their own. When the Village was finished in its initial reconstruction the runaway ninja came back and integrated with the ninja that stayed to rebuild. From that day forth, with the few exceptions of a few surprise attacks by rogue ninja, the Village has been steadily growing and returning to its once former glory.

Most of that came to a crashing halt as returning members of the old Ichijin Clan tried to take over the Village... the resulting war claimed many lives and reshaped Gaioh. The Ichijin 'Old Guard' failed in their attempt and were reduced to a handful. The Tashu were scattered. And a new clan was formed. Now Gaioh rebuilds once more.

The .:Gaioh Ninja Clan:. is a revival of the old myths and legends.

Some of you may not know, but the ninja headband that most of you wear, tells the story of the ninjas Gaia once had.

The guild is still expanding and changing, we have made numerous threads to help with the organization, but keeping updated on what the guild is up to will be your responsibility as a member.

If you still wish to join after hearing this, please inform us when you have the 200g so we can accept you. If you do not want to join, please inform us that you want to be removed from the join request list. I should warn you that every now and then people who run the guild may click accept on everyone currently in the join request list, thereby accepting those people and having the 200g deducted from them... That is why if you want to not join, that you contact us immediately.

New members are considered to be Genin.
