Believe it or not, these woods are the front entrance to the forest known as Mistvail Forest, one of the reasons why it is forbidden to the villagers of Trance unless absolutely necessary. The only time they are permitted to enter is for hunting food during daylight hours only. These forests are breeding grounds for the worst of the worst, and only village magic caste tribesmen that are allowed to enter them even through daylight hours. Looking from the outside entrance, dark towering diseased trees surround the village making it hard for them to seek help from outside. In other words, those entering or exiting Trance must tread carefully through these forsaken woods. Many go in consciously aware that they may not come out alive. Among those who do come out alive, some come out changed for the worst and usually require being put down permanently to avoid infecting the rest of the village with whatever illness they may have contracted. Near these woulds are four large pillars known as Luxia Towers. These magical imbued beacons built with by the village's casters. Each of these Luxia Towers are responsible for keeping the mist at bay and from leaking into the village. Three are guarded there at all times of the day constantly embowering them with their own mana.

Dawn, the mist stays at bay as a figure sits up right upon a stone with a black pipe in her hand. Floating rings of smoke escape ruby lips softly claps around the tip of the pipe. Dressed in an assortment of easily recognizable shamanistic wear a girl who seemed only eighteen, her head darting to the left and right. Constantly checking her surroundings. Though she sat just before the boarder into the twisted landscape which was the Wikia Woods of her childhood not but four years earlier. As she skillfully holds her pipe between the fingers of one hand she has a staff held perfectly still in the other, as if it was wedged into earth. Her discipline was exempt in her posture and form that hung slightly over in a vigilant demeanor. Read waves of hair brushed her darkened skin as she gazed at the hopeful light coming trough the mist. She'd make it a habit to watch this alone, and undisturbed. Well almost so, her Familiar the white owl Ludwiga wasn't going to leave her side. She sat upon The womans head stretching her wings now and again with the dew of morning filling her lungs.

The familiar would gone to speak to her master, "Hey hey, Master do you want to leave now. You always sit here so long watching the boarder. The towers can handle it. Nothing comes trough, and if it or he did...the other could handle it." Ludwiga's master would tilt her head much like and owls and creak it again. her stretching for the morning to come. Taking another pull of the herbs and drugs I the pipe, she let out spark of flames. The full grown owl would jump from her head and come to land before her looking into her strong green eyes.
"Master you should sleep more, you beauty will fade with this stress." For the first time she spoke." What is beauty to me Ludwiga. It's none of my concern as to how this vessel falls apart...I care only for what I can do with this body...you might be right about leaving. The others will be coming to see if I'm real or not again. Well the tourist at least, ugh, I hate scientist."

She stand revealing more of her soft brown skin, and the height of her form. Statuesque standing at six feet and two inches. She turn to leave with the day light just behind her steps. " Ludwiga come, we're heading for the market. They should have some worms tail. I've been meaning to get some." The owl would obey her master. The silhouette that stood tall before her, slightly hunched over as to mask her size and form. using her stick as a crutch when she was fully able to walk. She'd taken to trying to stay as unnoticeable as possible. It was her habit from childhood. A local guard spotted her and tipped her hat, yelling to her.
"Bless you lady Cheville."
A smile formed between her ruby lips as she tuned her face to him. Her face coming into full view as to greet the light of day. The sun light would cast it's light just as she turned highlighting her figure.
"Thank you brother!" She'd take off from the rock with a beam of blinding light. Disappearing into the sky out of sight, the guard would turn towrds her rock after being blinded by the light. He'd say to himself with a warm tone to his words.
"She really is a mysterious witch. She should have been an angel."

The sun had just gone down and there was barely any light in the sky. Uri could be found near the border of the Wickia Woods. Stuck vertically in the ground about half a mile out under a cluster of trees was Uri's Spear. Right next to it stood a tall, limber, however well built man from years of physical training. Uri hated having to be fully clothed when out in the day light. So with great pleasure Uri first unbuckled the strap holding up his twin daggers, removed his glasses, head gear that resembled a ski mask, gloves, shirt, and boots.

"AHH much better." Uri whispered to himself.
He began stretching and preparing for his nightly routine. Stepping over to his staff he grabbed it with his left hand but only gently. A blur of what looked like steam began to roll off of his staff as Uri activated his Seishou. Instead of pulling his staff from the earth that lay beneath him you could hear it begin to shrivel and crack as he began to freeze the ground around him. Once finished he wrenched on his staff a bit to make sure it was stuck securely in the ground.

Placing his left hand about two feet from the ground up on his staff and his right hand about two feet down from the top of the staff he began to flex and straiten his body out horizontally. His staff flexed a bit as it now supported all of his body weight. Closing his eyes he began concentrate on his surroundings. The leaves rustling in the calm breeze, the sound of the night creatures in the woods waking up, even the faint sound of the mage guards conversing in the distance. He was in a full meditative state now. Small ripples of cool smoke flowed off him as long as his Seishou was activated. This was his time of peace but also his time of relocation. It was these moments that reminded him of his Krista.

If its the last thing I do, I will kill that retched Vampire. Oh Ice Spirit I do wish that you would tell me his name. I would be in your debt until eternity and beyond that if I must. I don't even know why I must find this so called Fire Spirit or Demon or what ever. I am not even positive I can defeat him. And if I was to fail then I wouldn't get the chance to slay my loves killer... Uri drifted off in his thoughts.

As he comes out of the forest, Myles sees what appears to be a flag or a banner, large and low to the ground on a short pole.

A few steps closer and he wonders that it isn't waving in a breeze or hanging down, but simply spread out motionless.

A few steps more and it makes sense, of a sort. It isn't a banner, it's a man, hanging rigid and horizontal from a staff.

He pauses quite far enough away not to disturb the meditating man, chuckles and says, "Yes, this is undoubtedly Trance all right."

Roughly fifteen minutes had passed and Uri felt it was time to move on to the next part of his routine. Still holding firmly on to his staff he let his legs slightly relax inches before they touched the ground he wrenched his legs and body upwards vertical. His head was toward the ground, elbows were bent in a ninety degree angle with his feet together perfectly vertical in the air. Uri looked as though he was trying to climb a rope upside down. Uri had decided that tonight he wouldn't concentrate on his Seishou abilities.

Not moments later Uri herd the the deep collected voice of the Ice Spirit speaking to him. "I can sense him. Not far from here." Said the Ice Spirit.
Again? You remember the last time you sensed the Fire Demon, we never found him. Are you sure this time? Uri questioned.
"To be honest no, not to mention this feeling that I do have troubles me. I get the feeling that I'm not supposed to be here. Like my spirit is being dragged some where else." The Spirit said in a cold disturbing manor.
"What!" Uri said out loud for all to hear in a low firm voice. In a jolt Uri flung him self up in the air in a back flip motion landing on his feet. In a quiet whisper while pointing at the air as if there was another person there as he continued. "We had a deal! I help you and you help me. I would gladly reject this gift that you have given me if you would simply tell me the name of the Vampire who killed Krista..." Uri was cut off by the spirit.
"Calm your self, you make it sound as if you would storm the Vampire village. This is unwise since it would likely end in your death and..."
"Your right..." Uri said with a snarl before once again getting cut off.
"AND your vengeance would not be fulfilled."

Uri paused for a moment of silence as his head dropped toward the ground.
"You must have patience, since you have come this far I will not leave you with nothing. Let us see what will become of the situation." If Uri's eye wasn't closed it would have twitched.
Very well Ice Spirit, but my patients worn thin over the past three years. Uri rolled his shoulders cracking only the left one. That Fire Spirit better be here!

As the musician makes his way toward Trance proper, he pays not a single iota of attention to the man's outburst. This is Trance, half the people here are not alone in their own head.

"That is so very true."

He stops short, puts his head down, and holds his forehead with the heel of a palm. "Oh, that's just perfect. I suppose you can tell me how I survived dropping from Orpheus, then, whatever you are?"

"Simple. We flew."

"That's it. I need to locate the nearest stiff drink."

Dawn was approaching. There stood Uri next to his Spear with his hands held behind his back and his head cocked toward the ground. I should prepare for that retched sun. It will surly not be a pretty sight if i am still standing here when it shows its face. Uri strapped his twin daggers on his back after putting on his shirt. After buckling his boots he slipped on his mask. before he put on his glassed he couldn't help but notice that he was gazing out in to the woods. They seemed so peace full during the moments before sun rose. Though normally this was not the case.

Lets see what the village has in store for us. Uri thought to him self as he secured his glasses to his face. Grabbing his spear with one arm and plucking it from the almost thawed ground he made off toward the Village.

Kanan ran into the woods and searched for a clearing. He found one after a while of searching and laid down on the grass trying to regain some of the lost energy he had expended trying to survive. He looked over to the chain he had used for cooking and sighed. "Why don't I have a rag and some cleaning supplies for my weapons," he questioned.

Kanan closed his eyes in hopes of getting a well deserved nap before he would leave and find another spot to rest in but right now he only wanted to rest. He relaxed his entire body as he drifted in and out of sleep. "You are really not going to like me in about five minutes," Demon decided to say something that got Kanan's attention. "What are you talking about hothead," Kanan questioned out loud.

Weaving through random streets Uri had made his way out of the market. Now he could see one of the towers that bordered the Wickia Woods.
"Into the woods." The Spirit spoke. "its not far."
Uri dashed out into the woods trying to contol his breathing so that he was not to winded when he found the Fire Demon. The Spirit told him that he was near and he could see a clearing a head. As he came closer he could see a man laying on the ground. Stopping near the edge of the clearing he yelled out to the man.

"You there! Get up and show your self!"

"Now I know why I hate you ya over grown excuse for an ember," Kanan growled out as he rolled over to look at the man shouting."What do you want? I'm busy unless you really want to try and kill me then I will put off my nap just for you." Kanan was not in the mood to deal with whomever decided to wake him up. He slowly pulled himself off the ground and pulled out his Hidden Longsword in dagger form. He was in a relaxed position and waiting for the voice to reveal itself.

All of a sudden Uri could feel a piece of him being lifted and removed. it felt like no other sensation he had ever felt. "Uri!" The ice spirit yelled. Uri turned just in time to see a ghostly figure jutting out of his back.
"No way! You are not going any where!" Uri reached back with his right arm and literaly grabed the Spirit and pulled it back into him self. "How did you do that? Thats never happened before." The Ice spirit was sommoned to be some where else however Uri's soal and will power was so strong he had other plans. Immediately Uri activated the Ice Spirit's power through his Seishou.

"I am sorry, I need information and in order to do that I need to kill the Fire Spirit in you." Uri said as he glared at the Man. "You die to day!"

Instantly Uri dropped his Spear and created two Ice Spears, one in each hand. Rearing up he threw each one as hard as he could one right after the other at the mans chest.

Kanan was confused by the voice telling him he could not go anywhere. Then the voice's declaration of getting information from his death was truly baffling to him. Kanan was truly confuse but he stood still waiting for an attack or something and he got his wish. His wish came in the form of two ice spears flying right at him.

Not having enough time to unwrap his chains he concentrated on Demon's power and shot a constant stream of flames from his hands at the incoming spears. He hoped that they would at least be dull by the time they hit. Due to the heat the spears became more brittle even though the spears were still intact.

The force behind the spears made sure that the spears hit him but they did not fully penetrate his leather armor. The cuts were shallow and the blades were cold as they nipped at the skin around the wounds. He stumbled back a few steps as the fire from his hands died and he hunched over a bit looking at the spears in his chest. His fingers were blackened from the fire flinging he had just done but he was not done yet as he raised his left forearm and dropped it on the spears knocking them from his body.

He looked at the trees from where the spears came from and summoned fire back into his left hand as he launched a stream of fire into the woods from where the spears came from.

Uri was not thrilled with the man turning his arm into a personal flame thrower but no matter. As he ducked and rolled to the left he let his hand slip around his spear laying next to him and took it with him. This should be fun. As Uri stood up after rolling to dodge the flaming inferno that was presented to him he grabbed one of his daggers strapped to his back and flung it toward the man. Uri didn't have much practice in throwing his daggers but it was used more as a distraction. If it happend to peirce the mans flesh it would have merely been a bonus.

The second he threw the dagger he chaced after it. Bing roughly twenty feet away it didn't take him long to reach his opposer. As he was running he could hear the ice spirit counceling him. Increase the Seishou flowing through your body. This will help to slow the fire from from burning through your clothing." Uri did as he was told. The air around him began to cool and the temperature in the imediate area begand to drop.

Seeing a dagger coming at him his instincts kicked into overdrive as adrenaline coursed through his system numbing the burning appendages. He chose to make a dramatic leap and tumble to his right and commanded his chains to unravel themselves from his shoulders down so he could keep the chains as bracers.

As he came out of the role only four feet of chain came undone but it was enough for him as he put his dagger back into its sheath. He threw his hands back out towards his now seen opponent and created another inferno coming from his hands. As he did this his chains snaked around his arms to loosen the rest of the length he truly wanted.

Once again there was another firey inferno about to explode in his face Uri yet again droped to the ground and rolled to his right as if the two opposers were circling each other. His left arm was noticably wamer than the rest of his body, looking over to it the cloth on his shoulder was singed. Luckly none of his skin was showing. That was close! I need more!

Continuing to side step to the right Uri began reaching deep with in him self to bring fourth more of his Seishou. The ground began to quikly crackle and freeze beneath him. Both hands were griping his spear placed evenly apart left hand higher than his right. In a very quick motion Uri spun his Spear three hundred and sixty degrees counter clock wise. As he did so he also spun his body in the same direction pivoting on his right foot to create momentum. As he completed his spinning ark he braught down his spear toward the flame throwing mans upper torso with enough force that could surely break a brick pilar.
