Hello the people, it me the Queen of Hangovers.felt bad
So last night I decided to go out drinking because hell I deserve it. So even before I hit the bar I decided to go buy me some booze. So I went bought some Bacardi Black Rum (I felt bad going against the Captain but the rum was on sale and it came with a nice glass), and I took a bit of a stroll and found some sake not that it's the best but it dose the job. So I got home and popped open the sake and poured myself a shot, and like I said it wasn't the best but I live in Canada so I won't be getting the good stuff. I waited a bit and then made myself a double rum and coke which I mixed wrong so it was a little on the strong side. Then 8pm hit so I was off to the bar for happy hour, 2.50 bar shots and after drinking 3 more rum and cokes I was feeling pretty good.
Now because of that I decided to look through the drink book and that when Hoshi became stupid. I found a drink called Lotto 649, heres whats in it..... anything on the shelf. The way they choose is by starting somewhere on the shelf and counting 6 bottles and you get 1/3 shot of that, from there they count 4 more, and then after that count another 9 then they mix it all into one shot. So in the end I got a shot of rum, vodka, and something green. I had never tasted something so bad or smelled but I drank it and then a couple oh screwdrives (vodka&orange juice), and some other things that I can't remember. So pretty much this morning I was hurting all over and spent most of the day hiding under my blankets an pillows. So my drink quota is filled for awhile.
I need to buy a sake set though, because I want to be cool.
FFXII - I must say I'm not interested in it at all everything I've seen for it for me is just meh. But I will be in game mode this month because Neverwinter Nights 2 is released this month. I've been waiting 3 years for it and everything thing I've seen for it makes me need to play it.
I guess that's it.

Okami 2-hour progress review: It's a beautiful game. The music is lovely and complementive and the graphics really do remind one of calligraphy. The battles, while easy, are still fun due to the "celestial brush" feature, which is ridiculously enjoyable. The only complaints I have so far are the extremely annoying SimSpeak used instead of actual voiceacting (you know; the random, meaningless sounds rather than real words) and the fact that the game seems to be ripped off of Ocarina of Time, at least so far. There's a mute main character, a tiny and annoying guide, hapless townspeople, a large field which doubles as the world map and too many other things to think of right now. That said, I thoroughly enjoyed Ocarina of Time. Can't imagine the similarities posing any kind of problem.
I am not yet able to determine if it's worth the $40 I paid for it, but that really depends on how long the game lasts and what kind of storyline is introduced.
Akahoshi - Jeez. Go easy, girl. Hangovers are never worth it. Sake, however, is always cool. Always.

Wooo, last SAT finally over. Glad I had a cold that day too. >.<
But it's over. The grounding is over. XD
Now I can worry about Homecoming. x3
I just finished reading the last volume of Chrono Crusade.. god, I love that manga, so much. It's just one of the best series I think I ever got into.. wow. I really definitely need to do fanart and stuff for that later. x3 It was really sad though, but wow, really well made. Cliche maybe, but good. =)
AD: It sure took FF12 long enough to come out though. >.> Sucks that it doesn't live up to all that hype then. Spandex and dress combination is a winner. x3 Beats putting the cell phone in your panties~
Ashram: I love reading about widespread panic and pandemonium. People amuse me that way. x3 I'm sure that since China makes a lot of money from all that anime stuff (DVDs, and bootleg XD), I doubt they'd ban it. There'd be ways of getting it anyways, despite the ban, you just got to find a friend in Hong Kong. XD (I'm being SO mean, but that's how my relatives get movies. x3)
Laitue: I envy you have time to take off just to play a video game. I'll do that when summer comes. I've a mind to force myself to finish that stack of games that piled up with the coming of Junior Year. Oh, they're so neglected. Once I get into a college, once AP tests are over.. I'll have 3 beautiful months to finish 5 or 6 games. That's PLENTY of time. O_O
Hoshi: Yeah, after waiting all that time for FF12 it would suck if it doesn't live up to the hype. XD Drink lots of wate ; O;

I'm alive...went MIA, and came back $100+ poorer, since I caved and bought that shiny mp3 player that is best described by someone I know as "straight out of an Ann Summer's Catalogue" xd
no, koji! you cannot google it! D: it'll hurt your vision! crying (same goes for Nyome and Memai, we can't let children view such things! ninja )
I'll post the review of it if anyone wants to read about it here, unless anyone's against it? o__o;
yes... and the squid suit = all the rave in paris e__e; ...
Koji :: no, YOU started it! D:
Hoshi-ko :: hmm...seeing as it's a green bottle, it could have been either Midori, Mint Schnapps, or Cutty Stark. xp (most likely the later one if you did mix it with vodka and rum) ... take care of yoruself, you might be a hard drinker, bu I think i can safely assume we at GASOC would like to have our Hoshi good 'n' healthy for a looong time to come wink
A.D. :: . . . surprised Ookami? I thought I read a review about it, so I ran a bootleg/hack demo someone got me.... it's really spiffy game :'D (especially the celestial brush, as you stated it. x3 <3) ... and you complain too much on the bad points of...well, everything. xd (yes, 2, almost three years that I've known you, and now I finally have said it xp ) ... it's your nature I guess xd

I have, in the last 5 minutes, decided two completely different things:
1. I am ordering an iAudio X5L. Right now. Some crazy person uploaded screenshots of the GUI and I was almost drooling out of geekdom. I think that's a sign. 2. When GASOC finally dies (as it will; don't pretend you're still going to be here when you're 40...), I'm leaving Gaia. It's simply become too inane, even for me. xp
That said...
Does anyone think a Recommendation Thread might be worthwhile? Shiro's right: I [and some others among us] complain too much. Maybe we should make a space to praise the things we really like for a change? For example: anime, video games, gadgets, music, and so on. That way, our fan[girl/boy]ism wouldn't be lost as the Hangout thread grew and anyone who's bored can browse the Recommendation Thread for some ideas of how to spend their time next. Just a thought.
Also: I'd really like to host some kind of Halloween activity, but my muses have been deaf and dumb lately. That and I'm not getting much sleep (blargh!). So. I've decided that we're going to decorate digital pumpkins (like the SOCOOL Orandai pumpkin in my sig) and I'll paste them all into a GASOC pumpkin patch, if you will. As soon as I find some acceptable base images for pumpkins, we'll get this thing started.
And, as usual, any and all suggestions are appreciated. I know art should play into this somehow... We're so lazy... xd
Ashram - Well, that's what you get for fleeing the country, my friend.
I saw the movie for ROD and thought it was cute. I guess only one of the sisters was featured, because she was the only character who could manipulate paper.
