A family came through the food bank today. They had two little boys, who were around 2 or 3 years old. One of them had a black eye and the other had a large purple bruise on his cheek. And I am becoming increasingly unhappy working there.

Oh man, that's bad news bears. Can you call anyone about that?

Agh! Stop aborting the DVD-writing just because one file isn't identical. It's in a folder labeled something along the lines of "pictures" so I highly doubt it's important enough to cause a failed system recovery!

I did feel slightly evil today when I made a 500% profit on a high-ish end item in WoW Auction House today. : D

I've had a kind of friend like that, Pyre. In the end she started complaining about the most trivial matters like, "NO, CHRIS DAUGHTRY IS A HORRIBLE SINGER!" Okay, okay! Geez, it's just a friggin' game show...

She thought Taylor Hicks was really good singer. Haha.

Things just keep getting better and better!!!!!!!! So I call up the court to register for jury duty A MONTH AGO. I did everything right, I called but the operator wanted me to fill out the green slip. I did. I call again and they just ramble off the same crap they did before and hang up on me so I assume I'm registered. LOL NO.

So I call this weekend (about 10 times, literally. Each time having to put in my stupid jury ID and group number) but it says I registered late (;ASLKJDLK NO I DID NOT). So I go there and wait around for an hour and a half just to be told to come back at 2pm. 2pm is when I have to pick up this kid from school. But they don't give excuses for that. OMG....

So, I go there at 2pm and wait another 35 minutes (by which time I could have picked the kid up and been at the court house by now...). Then we are wheeled into court and sworn in and then LEAVE.....wow, thanks for wasting my day. Oh yeah, and I return tomorrow at 2pm.

Wasting my Mondays sitting in a room with THE VIEW on for an HOUR. I wanted to gouge out my ears from their diatribe. I hate The View soooo much it hurts.

TV's in waiting rooms are the worst idea ever. Does anybody ever like the s**t they program it to? No. They just think any stupid diversion will keep you satisfied while they waste your time. At least you used to be able to turn them off if you found a tall person, but not anymore.

How about you turn off the godamned TV and I'll work on my homework, hmm? There are a zillion magazines in the waiting room for people to read if THEY'RE bored, why do you need to put such a distracting form of "entertainment" in the room? Honestly, if you're too damned dumb to bring something of your own to do when you know you're going to be waiting a while, I could give a s**t if you're bored.

I also love how the same doctor who is always an entire hour late for your appointment will refuse to see you if you happen to be a mere fifteen minutes late. rolleyes

This bothers me SO much - the dentist I used to go to back home would make me wait for upwards of a half an hour, but if I was so much as a minute late the receptionist was calling my cell, my house, and my parents at work to ask if I was planning on being there or canceling. And yeah, the last time I went to the doctor, I waited for over 45 minutes...there was no one else in the waiting room, and nobody else came out into the waiting room before the nurse finally called me. Sure, I imagine they were busy with other things, but it really did make me feel like they just wanted to waste my time. D: And the really awkward part was that it was at Planned Parenthood and they were playing a Christian rock radio station...it just felt weird.

That is what I was saying the ENTIRE time I was there. Not aloud but in my head. I knew no one would agree with me. I did avert my eyes and look at the ceiling but I wished I had my ipod (which my brother lost a week ago WTF?!) TV is just a way to mindlessly waste away the hours spent NOT being bored (or being bored and watching TV anyway). I wish I brought my notebook to write in but I didn't even do that. I did write on some receipts I had so that was fun for two seconds. Haha.

Wait, I didn't know my dentist flew out to California. That might explain why he always was so late and hardly ever around.


Also, I really want to do a survey of every girl that has been interested in me. It's such a varied group of people and I'm not quite sure what some of them even saw in me to begin with, especially the ones I hardly ever talked to.

On the other hand, I've actually gotten myself into another relationship.
