obama's a douchebag and everyone's a moron for not realizing that.

I actually agree with this. I'm wondering why more people aren't questioning just WHERE an upstart who just BARELY got into the Senate for his first term is getting enough money to run a campaign that beats out someone like Hillary Clinton. And he refuses to release his records from Harvard. We basically know nothing about the guy except for what he tells us. And I never trust a person who is that good at talking.

He frightens me. But so does John McCain. I think we're ******** no matter who wins.

This might be because his associations do not matter unless we have solid proof that he is some crazy guy bent on ruining America. All other theories of what kind of president he would be can be said about anyone running for president. Nobody knows. Regardless, these are the two choices we have. :/

And if we had more choices than that there may be a problem with getting a majority vote for the candidate (esp. when we don't require an over 50% majority vote for a single person). People mostly vote for Republicans and Democrats anyway, so any third party really gets shafted to the other side. (And all of this is common knowledge that I shouldn't bore anyone with. Sorry. haha)

Then mostly the political pundits and campaign organizers try and push their own bias onto the rest of us who either, A) get pulled into their rhetoric (fear mongering) or B) bash their head into the wall until they shut up after the election.

I am B.

I guess I really have run out of things to quest for. ~_~

The only items I have left that I want are wayyyy wayyyyyy out of my range, like DJs and Minis. I kinda want some other 03s like AFK/angelic scarf/sash, but, I highly doubt I would use them that often and they would rot.

I don't want to part with my whole inventory for Minis, and I don't think my whole inventory even adds up to DJs. Plus, added to the fact that the two highest value things in my inventory -- D-tail and NM Scarf -- are sentimental, so I'm even LESS likely to add them to any offers. ~_~ I just got an OMG and could add it to any offers, but, I think that the letters I gave up for it were probably worth more than it, but I was just so desperate to get it that I caved and did it anyway. :< I know even with questing, it would take me billions of years and possibly I would never finish. I see a lot of my friends never finishing their quests.

It's just kind of a sad feeling knowing that I guess I have nothing left to work for except newer items. I guess I could try questing for chain wallet since that wouldn't be a bad quest since they're not too much, but sigh. D:

Why do 03 Gaia items have to be so out of reach? :<

Ugh life sucks. It's still at least three semesters away and I'm already spazzing out and depressed about grad school and the lack of prospects, because I'm not a rich ******** ivy league elitist, thereof.

Why is it so ******** hard to make a decent ******** positive contribution to academia and human culture as a whole?

In case that wasn't a rhetoric question: the most creative and innovative people do not go to an Ivy League school, there's other options and you can be awesome that way too.

Oh oh, I want to contribute.

Well, moving recently sure did bite me in the a**. Broke, living with family sure, but still broke and I barely know my way around town. Paranoid about the area, never lived in a city-type area. And the thermal sickness is a pain in my a**. I thought OH YAY THINGS ARE GONNA BE JUUUST FINE. But nope, s**t's just adfsga. Hopefully I can make something out of nothing, but we'll see. Job hunting's going to be fuuuun today. I can already tell.

Yay, retail-hell. And then I have to worry about going to college, too. Effeffeff.

Edit: NEVERMIND, got a job in the food business as a server. Yay tips. No dealing with people BAH WHERE'S MY FOOD. Hopefully things go over well.

Yay for jobs where you get tips! <3 I wish I still had one.

On a similar note, I don't think my mother understands that if I do get a second job, it decreases my chances of being able to fly up to WA for Christmas.

Also, stupid boys and their stupid faces.

Obama is anti-war, from what I gather.

McCain agrees with Bush, and I'm pretty sure he'll try to attack Iran. BUSH TRIED to, but several high commanders threatened to resign if he did. I don't know if you knew this, but,
holy ******** s**t.

Iran = China ******** be the primary reason I'd rather go with Obama. Honestly, I've gone around and learned too much about truths to really care otherwise.
I just don't want end of the world because douchebag McCain wants for some ungodly reason to attack Iran like Bush does.
LOLOL OIL PLEASE.

Yeah I know. It was the first place I stopped at, and bam. Job. It was pretty surreal. I'm sure it will, I'm mild-mannered so it'll be a cinch. I have the morning shift too. Though, not exactly sure if that's a great thing or not.

I'm not too sorry about the place I'm living at. It's really nice and calming, but I just have horrendous paranoia.

Airis - Yes, I do know that. Like I said, I don't think I can vote for EITHER of these guys in good faith. We need to get the hell out of Iraq, not start another war in the Middle East.

And Obama says he's for peace, but politicians say what they think you want to hear to get elected, and then do whatever the hell they want once they get your vote. At least with McCain we have some history to weigh his promises against. With Obama, we just have to take his word.

Needless to say, if I ever simply take a politician's word for it, I've probably gone senile. Not the can't-remember-s**t senile I always joke about because I've been on Gaia for a millennia, but well and truly senile.
