Kira took a seat in the back crossing her leg over the other. She looked slightly impatient but didn't want to push her luck. She looked over at the marine that seemed to block out anyone who stood before him. He seemed relaxed as if he went through things like this all the time. Kira shook her head at the thought of taking on such a big guy.

After they all finished sitting down, the general took his seat behind his desk and began to speak. "I know you four are all extremely curious as to why I have brought you here. Well... to put it simply, you are the best in the Federation, and we need each of your expertise for this mission." Florak watched the general curiously, more hydrogen being blown from his breathalizer as the Valaction took a suitcase off a shelf next to his desk. Quirking an eyebrow, Florack asked, "Sir, may I inquire as to what is in that suitcase?" General Nator replied, "That depends." Florack and the other three officers just confused at the general. Nator, after letting them sit in confusion for a few moments, then asked, "Tell me, everyone... how much do you know about the Anibots?"

"Tell me, everyone... how much do you know about the Anibots?"

I quirked a disbelieving eyebrow as I said, "Well, General, with all due respect, I know it's a myth. An old fairytale to help children go to sleep at night about robotic animals that fight for justice." The face I had on could no doubt show that I felt I was right, that it was pointless for me to be there. However, if Valactions' faces could show the emotions they were feeling, I know Nator's face would have had a smug grin. "Oh really, Colonel? Well... then what do you call these?" Removing the locks on the suit case, General Nator opened it up and inside were five chromometer looking devices. Each one had the head of a different animal: an eagle, a lion, a fox, a shark, and a rhinocerous. Not touching any of them, he said, "These are the Anicoms, devices used to summon the Anibots of the ancient legend." Looking at me, Nator said, with a touch of smugness in his raspy voice said, "Still think they're a myth, Colonel?" I sank a bit deeper in to my chair, silently.

Kira listened attentatively,finally we gooing to find out why we are here,she though to herself. Her eyes never once left the general as he inquired what they knew about Anibots. She remembered when she was a little girl her mother use to tell her stories about 5 robots infused with animal spirits who would one day rise to protect all that was good. As a little girl she believed the stories but the older she got the more she found them rediculous.

Kira sat up straight her attention on the case which had been opened to reveal the devices she had only ever dreamed about. She couldn't help but gasp as she inched forward on her chair for a better look. "Oh really, Colonel? Well... then what do you call these?" Removing the locks on the suit case, General Nator opened it up and inside were five chromometer looking devices. , Kira smirked,"oh look they morphers from that old show power rangers", she mocked just loud enough for the Colonel to hear. "i have dibs on being pink ranger!", she said again but then soon turning serious again."Sir? are we...um going to be piloting these robots?"

Florack Munzoe

Florack's usually passive face showed nothing but surprise as he saw the ancient Anicoms, the devices used to summon and control the Anibots. He heard stories back on Norite of the creatures, in particular the one called Sharkticon. Many of his people said that it was created on Norite... of course, since most assumed it was just a legend, nobody ever really believed. Then his ears perked up when Kira asked if they were going to pilot the Anibots. Nator replied, "Well, yes, if you can find them. It's said that when the destined pilots receive the Anibots, the Anicoms will present a map to their hidden location."

"Been a while since i've been on a good old fashion hunt" Simba saidstil being relaxed as thoughts of the devices ran through his head, "So when does the party start" Simba said so calmly as if he knew instictivly the animal that called to him.

(Princess Alyera is having serious family problems and is having to use a friends computer butthat is rare, she'll catch up if i tell her to lol)

Kira shifted at the thought of being the pilot of one of those. She knew if her mom was still alive she would so proud. Kira then clapped her hands together,"oh righty Im guessing the ani chooses the pilot and not the other way around."

Florack Munzoe

Standing up out of nowhere, Florack said, "Well, I believe I already know which is mine." Walking calmly over to the suitcase, he moved his hand over the Shark Anicom and before he even touched it, the Anicom jumped out of the suitcase and wrapped around Florack's wrist. Staring deeply at it, he said, "So, who's next?" And he sat calmly back down.

I was still fuming as Florack came back to his seat. Not only had I been shown up by an ARMY two-star, I was stuck with what seemed like a couple of rookies who seemed all too happy to go waste their time looking for a bunch of old walking computers. Seeming to not notice my annoyance, General Nator said, "Colonel McCoy... your next." Looking at him, I began, "General, I don't-" His voice got hard as he said, "Lieutenant Colonel McCoy, these orders come straight from the President of the Galactic Alliance himself. If you have a problem with your posting as commander of this team, you can take it up with him." Glaring as I got up, I went over to the desk, moving towards the suitcase. Almost in spite of myself, I put my hand over the suitcase, randomly going for an Anicom. However, without even looking, one of them jumped onto my wrist. Surprise showing on my face, it was the Falcon Anicom. Hhmm... as stupid as I think this mission is... something about this Anicom feels right. I thought to myself as I sat back down. His voice becoming neutral again, General Nator asked, "Who's next?"

"tsk tsk tsk...no gentlemen here i see", Kira said as she stood up an walked forward. She looked back at McCoy and couldn't help thinking he thought he was better than the rest of them. He probably thought them rookies and useless. She then looked back to the case, and waved her hand over the case and the lion anicom jumped and attatched itself to her wrist. She didnt say anything and just sat down.

"Looks like the party is just getting starte dthen" Simba said as he get from his seat so calmly and headed over to the case, placing his hand towards where the Rhino shaped Anicom was located, as he drew closer to it, it cone the same as all the ones before it as it leaped from it's casing and bound itself to Simba's wrist "Had a strange feeling we'd be partners" Simba said with a sure look on his face as he directed himself towards his seat.

After the other three had retrieved their Anicoms, he stated, "So it would seem that the fox belongs to our fifth companion. When will be meeting him, General?" Nator replied, "SHE will meet you four along your journey to the Anibot's planet." Florack slightly quirked an eyebrow. He originally wasn't expecting a Fey to join this team, let alone a female Fey. I didn't expect their to be that equal a number of men to women. Putting that aside, Florack's attention was stolen as he looked out the large window behind General Nator, past the edge of Terra Station as a Zero-Space vortex appeared from it. And out of it, came something extraordinary. "What in the galaxy is-?"

"What in the galaxy is-?"

We all looked past the General to the appearing Zero-Space vortex just outside of Terra Station. Leaving the wormhole and preparing to dock with the station was a beautiful starship, one unlike any ever seen before. General Nator calmly and unsurprisedly turned towards the window and said, "I see you all like your ship." I looked to him with a confused quirked eyebrow as I asked, "OUR ship, Sir?" Turning back to us, he said, "That, my friends, is the latest in Alliance naval technology. I give to you the USS Intrepid, the first of the Intrepid-class all-purpose assault carriers. She's got the speed of a cruiser, the hitting power of a destroyer, and the spacecraft carrying capacity of an escort carrier. With the little toys we've installed on this baby, along with the Anibots, the Keldrosian Empire is going to have a hard time dealign with you."

Florack said something that caught Kira's attention and all she could do was gasp."Thats ours? all ours...its a beauty...", the one thing Kira new a lot about was technology and this was breath taking. She had spent quite some time fixing things when she wasnt out on missions and couldnt wait to tamper with that ship.

(sorry for the mix-up. i got mixed up between which Anibot you and Alyera's character's had. and sorry about editing the post without your approval.

Simba's eyes widened as if he was a boy in a candy store when he saw the ship, "Sweet, that thing's gonna rip some seious Keldrosian a** whoopings when we need to" Simba said so calmly

I had to leave my seat to get a better look as the Intrepid was auto-piloted into the dock. Being a Naval Aviator myself, I had served on plenty of aircraft carriers before, but never had I seen a war ship that was so, to be quite frank, beautiful. Probably sensing my amazement, General Nator said, "I assume you're starting to be a little more accepting of your position, Colonel?" I chuckled a bit as I turned to the general with a half-smile and said, "You could say that, General." He quickly turned to his desk and took a datapad off it. Handing it to me, he said, "As the commander of the Intrepid and the newly formed 'Anibot Force', this datapad contains your mission objectives, data on your ship's systems, and your crew roster. The ship's crew is already on board, but they haven't been given the details of their assignment due to the high classification fo your mission. You must stress to them that no one other than, me, the President, you four, your fifth teammate, and the Intrepid crew may know of the details of your mission." Seeing the stern expression on the Valaction's face, I could tell that he was 125% serious. Simply nodding, I said, "Aye, Sir."

Kira was smiling broadly at the battle ship. She turned around to see Nator giving McCoy the data card and simply shrugged. She could of guessed he was going to be in control of the whole peration and wasnt too fazzed. "Sir when do we leave?"

General Nator nodded at Kira's question and replied, "Yes. You're all dismissed. Colonel McCoy, you have permission to begin your mission. Just remember: no one except the few I mentioned to you may know the details of your mission. No one else in the Federation and especially anyone in the Keldrosian Empire may know. But with that said, good luck. Dismissed." We all snapped to attention and replied, "Aye, Sir." With that, we all turned and left the general's office. As we entered the turbolift heading for the Intrepid's docking bay, I said, to break the awkward silence, "And I thought this was going to be a boring and/or stupid mission."
