Nightwing growled deeply and dug her claws deeply into the soil, extremely pissed with herself for letting her friend get lost. Letting her anger soar through her body as a rocket powered fuel, the wolf propelled herself back into the air like a spring-loaded jump. This time she went higher, letting her gaze around the area for her friend. This time she clearly saw her glowing friend. When she landed, the female wolf propelled herself toward her friend. Anxiousness made her run faster, soon finding her friend through the trees that cut her view from her. Nightwing smiled in relief as she neared her friend soon giving a very good burst of energy, doing another jump, landing on the boulder with Ookami. The wolf was panting violently, her jaws slightly open as she sucked in air, her chest rising and falling at a very quick pace. "O-okami.. Are... you.. okay?" She gasped out, her legs getting slightly wobilly as she stood up.

Nightwing continued to heavily pant but did start smiling, leaning down and pushing her muzzle up. So Ookami wasn't looking down or hanging her head in shame. "Dont.. apologize... I feel.. worse." She gasped out, slowly regaining her breath back, sitting down to regain her energy too. "I shouldn't have.. run off without you." The wolf apologized, soon standing back up, testing her legs. They were still alittle shaky but fine. "Come on Ookami. We have to find dens for ourselves or a den we share. We cant be out here really that long at night without food or water or shelter."

Ookami remained silent as Nightwing pushed her head back up "It's alright, I guess we both ended up making a mistake." Ookami looked up at the star lit sky "Yeah, though food shouldn't be a problem." Ookami said, her mood perking back up "A good concealed den would be good....but on foot it would take sometime too find one." Ookami paused, fidgeting a little at her words “That is…if you don’t mind sharing a den with me…?” Ookami had never liked to be alone, it made her feel forgotten, though she didn’t want to admit that to Nightwing, afraid to make herself look weak.

Nightwing smiled faintly and lightly rubbed her muzzle against Ookami's side, a sign of comfort. "It's okay with me Ookami, I'll share a den with you if you want me to." The wolf lifted her head and bounded off the boulder, swishing her tail as she landed, her happy mood back. "Come on. We have to get moving if we want to find a den." She began padding away at a gentle pace, hunger not really nagging at her right now. Nightwing was happy, now with a friend she could count on and actually be a friend with.

Ookami couldn't help wagging her tail at Nightwings comforting touch, smiling wide enough to show her fangs. Ookami jumped off the boulder and practically pranced after Nightwing "Ok!" she said, a little louder than necessary, her light glowing much brighter now as she continued to smile happily.

Nightwing smiled and began bounding around abit, but her mood was shot, the sight of piercing yellow eyes. She stopped dead in her tracks and stared at it, slowly lowering her head and growling, the fur on her body rising and bristling. "Ookami.." The wolf gently called, never taking her eyes off the creature. Suddenly the wolf shot forward, tackling whatever was hiding in the foliage. The wolf blinked and looked down at what was in between her paws, batting furiously. "Yo, Ookami, what's this?" Nightwing spoke in kind of a bland voice, pawing at it's muzzle. It was a mountain lion's cub.

Ookami immediately stopped prancing as Nightwing suddenly went into a defensive stance, trying to look ahead at what the other was looking at so intently. Suddenly, without warning, Nightwing lunged into a near by bush "Nightwing!" Ookami immediately rushed over to aid Nightwing in case of an attack, but it was Nightwing's question that caught Ookami off guard. "What?" Ookami managed to get herself through the foliage enough to see what Nightwing was talking about ".......Awwwwwwwwww, it's a little cubby!" Ookami squealed happily, wagging her tail furiously "Isn't it so cute?" she said nudging the cub and immediately falling in love with it.

Nightwing blinked as Ookami went all lovey-dovey on the cub. "Wait.. If this is a cub, doesn't that mean that it's mother is.." Nightwing bristled again and frantically gazed around for the cub's mother. "Ookami we HAVE to get this cub to it's mother. If it's mother is alive, finds us, and thinks we stole it's baby, we're in trouble. Trust me, if they're anything like snow leopards, we're dead." She let out a sigh and calmed down, lightly pawing at the cub's muzzle as it bit at her paw. "It is kinda cute.."

Kravos sit on the ledge and howls loud and clear. Calling for Nightwing and Ookami. He sits and waits for awhile then howls again for them. Then he turns to look at the cave waiting.

Kumori walks hesitantly out of the cave and into the moonlight. She heard the alpha's howl and came out but not before looking back inside one last time. As she looks out to the forest before her, her eyes brighten and she goes to sit next to the alpha. The smells of the trees and dirt filling her nose as she deeply breathes in the earthy scent. Looking up at the alpha she bows her head and says, "Thank you."

Minako comes out of the cave following Kumori.
" wow! Its awesome out here!"
Minako looked amazed!

Nightwing's ears perked up and she glanced at Ookami, knowing the two howls almost by heart. "I'll leave the cub here, we have to go." She placed the cub back in the foliage and kinda wrapped it up so it didn't leave. The female wolf turned and lightly nugged Ookami's side, lowered her head, and began to run at a fast pace, but judging from last time, she kept it fast so Ookami could keep up. Nightwing already looked kinda older, and she felt like it, but that was of no importance. Running for what seemed like a few minutes, Nightwing began to slow to a gentle bound as she approached the Alpha, Ookami at her side. Bright crimson optics narrowed at the pups but it only caused her to smile. New pups, new fun.

Ookami stiffened, she had run ins with mother mountain lions before, they were a cat you'd regret messing with, but still Ookami didn't want to leave the small cub alone "B-but..." before Ookami could protest further her ears pricked up at the alpha's call "Ok..." She said before giving the cub a soft nudge goodbye before running along Nightwing. Soon they had reached the Den's entrance, Ookami immediately became curious of the new members, her bodies glow brightening.
