Anyone wanna buy me a brand new car?

I'd love you forever, and be your sex slave if you want.

is it completely petty and retarded to be annoyed that you got robbed of the chance to BE MAD? (yes)

see, i was pissed at my parents because they were treating me like a child in the airport (i'm 26 and i've flown by myself plenty, i'm not some kind of aviation noob), but they probably wrote it off as some low blood sugar thing because i hadn't eaten in a day or so at the time. which, to be fair, is probably why i blew up at them instead of just bottling it up and seething politely. but i'd still have been pissed off, i would just have expressed myself better about it. the result is that i made up my mind, privately, not to go back until november 2009 (at least) because that's when the new rapid transit line to the airport will be operational. that way i can bypass the whole airport scene with them by being able to travel to and from it on my own.

ANYWAY. they called today, and they were both totally cheerful and made no mention of any scene, and unfortunately there was plenty to talk about, so basically we glossed over the whole thing as if it didn't happen. it DID happen. i'm still mad about it! but we acted all civilized and they probably have no idea that it made an impact on me, because nobody brought it up.

argh.

That's happened to me before pg. ): Except not in the airport. I figure that if my family ever does bring it up, I have a logical explanation for them. Therefore, I shouldn't worry about it.

I assume your parents probably just wrote it off as low blood sugar outrage. Most of us get that anyway. So I'm sure they understand.

But you could always call up and apologize so that you don't feel bad about it. Even if it makes you a little more humble, you'll probably get over your humility more so than glossing it over. That's my experience anyway.

I was expecting far worst to tell you the truth.

Good GOD I wish my boy was here, 'cause Transformers would've been so much more fun to watch with someone instead of by myself. I'm a little disappointed that I didn't go see this in theatres - would've been so much more epic. Damn damn damn.

...I'm sad our schedules are opposite this week. ._.

I am in desperate need of employment. ******** this economy. Places of business should be required by law to give a reason why they won't hire someone. So you know what you're doing wrong for the next time. s**t, that should apply to failed relationships, too.

All in all, I've met about 50 old GDers int he past two days cause of the forum spliting nonsense. AND I STILL THINK they're dumb. Of course now they also take looooong walks down memory lane about the so called 'good old days' that would make mere mortals want to kill themselves before it's over.

How come I've been posting in GD longer, sometimes years before them yet manage not to sound like a withering old grandmother?

ARGHHALLLLLLL THEY POPPING UP EVERYWHERE.

Ack, I don't know what to do.

A piano teaching job at a music school has fallen into my lap, and all I have to do is say yes - but it's in a different town, and I told myself not to go into teaching. I would have to stay at my boyfriend's place while he finishes up his 5th year in school, which he would loooove. But my mom thinks I should stay at home, where I officially have a place to live, and try to pursue something more ambitious and closer to my dream job in composition (since I already was a private piano teacher before I graduated.)

But... a JOB is staring me in the face. One that would actually give me consistent hours, unlike my other freelancing commissions. ARGH. Do I snag the opportunity or wait for something better?

Aivi - would you still be able to pursue a job in composition if you took the job as a piano instructor? I mean, would you be able to get out of it at the end of the year if you found something else?

I really, really dislike that I was gone for 8 days and didn't get to see him, and then was so sick when I got back - and then his family was in town so he wanted to spend time with them, and now that I'm better and his family's gone we work opposite shifts the entire week. ._. I miss him.

On the bright side of life, though, at least the new 16g Nano will cost the same as what the old 8g Nano did, and they just got rid of the 4g. I might actually buy a 16g...
