So, what does everyone think of the New Hobbit movie coming in 2012 and 2013? I'm so syked about it!!!

New hobbit o.O Where did you get this infor!!
The only thing that is coming this year in the movies that I know is the lord of the rings special edition. And that is coming this month <3333
I am so happy. Although I seen it already but it's different when it's in theaters xD Feels REAL <333

Yeah they are making The Hobbit! And Peter Jackson is directing it, which is awesome cause he did amazing with The Lord of the Rings. I'll post some post production videos and stuff so you can take a look at it.

OH YESS!! Please do!!!
i know he is the best. xD He is the whole reason why I want to be a director ( as Tim Burton xD ) >/////< I hope it's 2012 that it comes out

Well, I just posted some links that will be the up most helpful to you. I hope you enjoy! =D And The Hobbit will be in two parts. The first part be called The Hobbit: The Unexpected Journey and it won't be released until about 2012. Now the second part will be called The Hobbit: There and Back Again and that part will not release until about 2013.

Omgosh!!! Thank you so much. I watched the 1st video and I started crying ;.; I don't know why. LOTR has always stayed strong in my heart ;.; Whyyyy so long. And I saw the cast and I'm glad some old character will be there but i was really said that Arwen wasn't there ;.; I think I need to reread the book. xD I for got what happens. Wasn't she in there for a bit?

I'm a total nerd when it comes to J.R.R. Tolkien. Actually to be honest, some of those characters aren't supposed to be in the movie. Legolas and Frodo for example weren't even mentioned in the book. Frodo wasn't even born in The Hobbit and Legolas may have a cameo appearence but other than that I don't know. Galadriel isn't in the book either so I don't know why she is in the movie. Arwen isn't supposed to be in the film either cause she wasn't in the book. There is also supposed to be a romance scene in the movie, I don't get that. There was no romance in the Hobbit. Tauriel (elf) is a character that they "MADE" up. She wasn't even created by Tolkien himself. There is supposed to be a romance between elf maiden Tauriel and a man named Bard the Bowman of Laketown. I don't know, that's what I've been reading and it doesn't make any since to me. Though I will watch it only because I'm obsessed with JRR Tolkien! (Nerds unite)

Omgosh xD Me too!!! heart heart Although It's hard for me to read his books but I can still get some under standing. OMGosh! How great is this. I was listening to my lotr soundtrack and I had a feeling, so I came on to this guild just because I wanted to talk about lotr plus I am getting the Evenstar <333 AND THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS <333 >.< News of another movie,
Yeah when I was looking at the character list I was wondering why Frodo was in it. Isn't this were Biblo meets the trolls like his did in the Fellowship ( when he was telling the story to the little kids). That was wayyyy back then. o.O Maybe Bilbo is telling the story to Frodo???? xD Really o= well I'm not worry Peter changed the story a little. He is a great director ^^ He won't mess it up. Or "They are coming" xD I just really really wished some of the old character where in there ;.////; ( goes and watch lotrs)
What is There and back again about? Isn't that the story frodo made?? Are we getting 2 parts of stories untold.
YES!!!! (NERD also xD )

Hey, I have the Evenstar necklace too and the soundtrack(s) and The Lord of the Rings extended Edition. Yeah I don't mind Peter changing the story just a little bit but I just don't want him to change it so much that it's no longer The Hobbit. I believe the reason there will be two parts is because Peter might've felt to make the story longer and give the audience an awe. You see, In the Lord of the Rings, Frodo supposedly wrote The Lord of the Rings and Bilbo wrote "There and Back Again: A Hobbit's Tale" I think the first part of the story will be when Bilbo and the dwarves, plus Gandalf will set on their journey to the Misty Mountains to reclaim the dwarves home and treasures. And the second part will probably be them visiting Mirkwood and Laketown and then defeating the Dragon. I don't I'm just theorizing here.I'm so glad I could discuss this with someone else. xD

xD Where did you get yours? I'm missing Two Towers one xD True True I understand. Oooooo Yeah. xD I really need to go back and read. So it might be like the start and end of lord of the rings? Why is Golum in there?? and not his hobbit side o.O wouldn't he be a hobbit since Bilbo hasn't found the ring yet o.O lol. I really need to go back and reread.
Still it's fun to guess what it will turn out to be.
LOL. I totally understand how it feel to not have anyone to discuss a subject you really really like. xD Even if you talk to someone who is a good listener it's not the same ;.; xD

I got mine for Christmas a couple years ago. But I think you can buy them online, I think my mom got them at Sam's Club. Um, Gollum is in The Hobbit I just forgot to mention him. There will be a part in the movie where Bilbo will find the Ring. Remember in the first film in the beginning where Galadriel was narrating the prologue? Well she mentioned when "Gollum" found the ring and it poisoned his mind for 500 years. Bilbo in the Lord of the Rings is 111 years old, so there was a proper age range here. And I know it's never the same...xD

Hahaha!
I don't remember if there was any elvish spoken physically in the book, but they will most likely will in the movie. Being that the main characters will be going to locations such as Rivendell and Mirkwood.
Yeah I know I wish they did contests too, but I don't think they would do that because the actors and producers are more serious and stuff and they probably don't want any distractions but if they do do that that would be AWESOME!

xD I hope so, I love it when they speak elvish, I even want it to be a language but like latin it also is disappearing ;.;
Yeah true I understand that but still! No one does that, in any movie that I like. I just really really wish they would at least once before it's all over again crying or at least something.
( Thank you for keeping us inform)
Why are they having a holiday o.O I never really understood that or is it just a break xD
Wow New Zealand is so pretty, it really is nothing like that on earth <33 I do hope it stays like that for some time ^^

Edit: Btw: I forgot to ask who is your favorite character(s)? xD ?How could i forget that

Yeah me too, I love the Elvish language. It makes me feel all fuzzy inside. hehehe.....Well, I think for those people who live in New Zealand will get to see parts of the set but probably not physically be on it. I know I wish they could let us see it.
They are having a holiday or "break" probably becaause they have been working on it for soo long that they are tired and need a break. But don't worry, they'll get right back on the film as soon as you know it. biggrin
I love New Zealand, I was planning on moving there when I get out of college. Not only because of Lotr and the Hobbit. But because the economy is sooooo much better than ours. And the people there are much more friendlier.
My favorite character or shall I say character(s). I like a lot of minor characters. I have more favorite ones that are not specifically in the Lod of the Rings or The Hobbit Time line. But in the book(s) and movie(s), I like Arwen a lot. I like her a lot because (not to sound conceited) she is a lot like me except braver. And I admire her personality. I also like Haldir of Lorien. If you don't know who that is, he is the elf that dies in the second film in Battle of Helms Deep. But really hes does not die in the books which makes me mad that they did that.
So, who is your favorite character(s)?

I wish there was an Elvish keyboard razz Oh! ok xD I just didn't understand that. Maybe it was a really a holiday. xD Yeah I know I'm not worried hard work always pays off but only with a good rest biggrin
I agree with you 100% That is the main reason why I want to go visit/live there, it reminds of Canada but with out the snow ^^ I just love Countries that still have people but the landscapes are speechless. xD
who knows maybe we run into each other ( I'll be the loud person who is taking pictures and talking to everyone ^^; and buying a lot. )
I my favorite is Arwen, but I also like Eowyn because they both have strong personality. Yeah! I remember him, I cried when he died, so slowly,
( why did they make him die ) and it was the only battle with both elf and man ;.;
edit: Wow they even had Old English(Anglo-Saxon) o.O there is a lot I still don't know x' D

Haha! I would probably be the quiet, friendly person helping people and taking pictures. Do you live in Canada? Or you've been there? I've lived 2hours away from Canada at one point in my life but never been. I just live in the boring Southern states of the U.S. hahaha!
I like Eowyn too, she is strong. Galadriel is a cool character too. Especially in the early Middle Earth books. I don't know why they killed him in the film, I think they just wanted to make the film more dramatic.
Yeah I love Old English (Anglo-Saxon) I kind of speak it sometimes by accident. (I watch and read too many British things)
