Nector for the Fae [PRP]

Eh... by now all of my munchkins were long gone on their own grand adventures.  

[Bardess Ookami]

He searched but... the children had changed so much in so little time. he could no longer tell with certainty which were his. he slumped, exhausted, against his mate, regret in his eyes.

"You look sad," Nector noted, curiously.  

[Bardess Ookami]

"I cannot..." he started to tell her that he couldn't find their other children. But... she wouldn't even remember them, why burden her with that pain? He glanced at Vesi and gave her a small sad smile. "Come rest with us, sweetie?"  

[divena]

"Not sleepy," Vesi chirped, already bounding away. "I'm hungry!"  

[Bardess Ookami]

Edric blinked, then winced. "Ah, I suppose we should go hunting then," he said. He wasn't letting Nector donor. It wasn't healthy for her to feed more then one.... and.... well... she was his.....

"You'll teach me to hunt?" Vesi asked, perking.

"Food!" Nector squealed, bounding off.  

[Bardess Ookami]

"Nector!" He said to his kid over his shoulder. "Yes, come with me."  

[divena]

Vesi followed after her father. "Is mom always like this?"  

[Bardess Ookami]

He laughed a bit. "Ah... yes."  

[divena]

"How do you keep up?"  

[Bardess Ookami]

"I ask myself that every day," he confided as he chased after Nector.

Nector flitted through the trees, the size of a humming bird.

He grumbled at her size change, and used a wind to buffet her back to him. "Love," he said softly.

"Wheeeeeeeeeeeeee!"
