N:...zzzz......nya kill...Gekido kil.....nya.....

S: -sighs- i swear she insane! -pats Gekido's shoulder- im sorry she wants to kill you, there is really nothing i can do...

---- (30 minutes later)

K: I'm back! the cooks in the kitchen were cooking this delicious meal for us! lets eat before Nikki wakes up!!!

everyone: Hai!!!!

N:...nya..food.........zzz  

[Kakuu Gekido]

G: its alright Satoshi... Either she likes me alot, or she really reeeeeally hates me. Unfortunately i'm pretty sure it's the second of the two options... Well, let's not let this ruin a good meal! Time to chow down! Thankyou Kushina-sensei! *thinks to self while looking at Nikki* ... You're so much like her Nikki-chan... Sora... except, well... she's not insane... I wonder how she is?...and Shizukesa... ah! right, i need to send a letter to her soon! I'll do it after dinner! *starts eating*  

[Nikki Zola]

N: -nose twitches-....zz.. huh? I smell food...

S: oh Nikki your awake? good! here's your plate I was a nice brother and saved you some..

N: wow Ni-chan you're the best! -tackles-

S: haha thats nice to hear please get off

N: hahahaa

K: ah your awake? are you calm? N: hai sensei! all I needed was a nap I feel awesome! I dreamt that I killed everyone! -innocent smile- With Fire!!

K ^^; thats nice.....

G: Done! May I be excused from the table sensei?
K: Of course Gekido.
G: Arigato. *walks upstairs to his room and gets out a piece of paper and pen* *starts writing*

Dear Shizukesa
Well, so far, everything seems to be going well. We made it to the Land of Tea with minimal trouble... except for the little battle between Nikki-chan and I... but it was nothing serious. I hope everything is going well with you! Oh, by the way, tell Sora I said hello! And if you see happen to see Doragon around, tell him I wish him a happy trip to hell. haha

N: -stretches- ah that was good meal!!!! so sensei when do we head back to the village? O really want to see Takumi again I miss him!

K: as soon as -KABOOM!!-..this storm passes us.... that was weird timing...

N: a storm!!! woo hoo!!! rain! thunder! lightning! fire!! muahahahaha!!!!

S: oh no... -whack!-

N: -sighs- ..-faints-....zzzz.......

S & K: ^^;

K: good thinking

S: thank you

G: *hears the thunder outside* hm... shouldn't be a problem for him. Summoning Jutsu! *My partner, Arashi, appears* *I tie the message to his leg* Heh, a storm shouldn't be too much of a problem for you, considering that is what your name is. *goes over to the window shutters, opens them, the loud constant whrrr of the blankets of rain coming down fills the room* *releases Arashi* Fly Arashi! Fear not the storm! Fly with Fury! *Arashi quickly disappears in the downpour* *closes the shutters* ... *lays back on the bed, and stares at the ceiling* ... Shizukesa... i can only wonder how much you've grown... I look forward to seeing Yuki (Shizukesa's bird partner, a graceful light blue bird with long tail feathers) again soon...  

[Kakuu Gekido]

G: *slowly closes his eyes listening to the sound of the rain drops strumming on the windows*...

*a soft rain paddles the moist earth*
???: Gekido!
*a small girl with pure black hair hangs over the gaurdrails underneath the overhang of the porch with her hands cupped*
???: Gekidooo!!!
*a small roll of thunder is heard far in the distance, the wind picks up and the rain starts coming down harder*
???: Miss Kakuu! I'm going to go find Gekido!
Ms.K: Oh Sora, do be careful, and please come back quickly! If you can't find him soon, he's a strong boy, i'll worry, but i know he'll be alright, but there is no reason for me to have to worry about two little kids!
*Her words were wasted, as Sora had already left, the door still swung open. The thunder rolled again, closer...*  

[Kakuu Gekido]

*leaves rustle abruptly as Sora flies through*
S: *in her head* Of all the times Gekido, why now?
*a wicked bolt of lightning cracked down on the other side of the mountain, the thunder boomed deafeningly*

*a small amount of blood splashes on the wet rocky ground*
G: *on his hands and knees and coughs up a little more blood* *breathing heavily, stands back up* *wipes his mouth* ...Doragon! You haven't beaten me yet! I can still fight!
*a darker skinned boy with black hair in a ponytail stood at the other side of the cliff. the rain ran down the armor that covered him, in his right hand he held a large spear with a decorated staff and a large top. On his left shoulder, a small dragon, crimson colored, sat and screeched at the wounded foe*
D: ... You don't stand a chance Gekido! *spins his spear, sets it to his side and charges at Gekido*
*a flash of lightning illuminates the sky and the deafening thunder rolls again. leaves fly up from the ground behind Sora*
S: *in her head* Gekido, please be ok...  

[Kakuu Gekido]

*Gekido grabs a scroll from his side, bites his thumb and runs it over the opened scroll*
G: Summoning justu! Fury of the Swarm Shortbow!
*He grabs the bow, runs his fingers over the incantations on the front to summon three arrows and fires one after the other*
*Doragon stops and strikes at each arrow to deflect it and then throws his spear straight at his foe*
*Gekido dodges the spear, but as it passed him, Doragon appeared next to it, grabbed it, and with the shaft, turned around and threw Gekido into a large boulder at the edge of the cliff*
*Gekido's eyes opened wide with pain as he slammed against the boulder and coughed up a large amount of blood*
D: Pathetic... *Doragon relaxes and holds his spear loosely at his side again. then he turns and faces Gekido* ... truly... pathetic... *He lifts the spear above his head and spins it quickly and spins it to his left and then his right, then brings it around his back and slashes upwards across Gekido's chest, from his waist to his shoulder*
*Gekido screams in intolerable pain, as his vision blurs he sees Doragon turn around and disappear, then he collapses in a puddle of a mix of the rain and his own blood*
*The rain pours stronger and a nearly constant roll of thunder begins*  

[Kakuu Gekido]

*Gekido's eyes open suddenly and he quickly sits up, the pounding of the rain on the window assures him that it was only a memory. I close my eyes and take a deep breath to calm down, then open them and stare downward at my chest. I walk in front of the mirror and take off my shirt, then i run two fingers across the scar*
G: ...Doragon... I'll get you back for this, for now, i'll recognize this scar as a symbol of shame... that I lost to you *clutches fists* but soon, i'll beat you, Doragon... I'll beat you and give you a scar, and you will always remember the day that you lost to me! ... Soon.... Doragon... Soon...

Meanwhile...

N: zzzzzzz...-wakes up-....huh?...where is everybody?

Hears the sound of the rain on the window

N: oh thats right, once it started to rain I went crazy and wanted to kill everyone....huh....why does rain have that affect on me? Oh well... -gets up and stretches-

-she walks to the windowsill-

N:...rain...which can also be associated with darkness but in darkness one can always find a ray of light that can come from fire...fire...

N: pfft! -she laughes to herself- wow i actually sounded serious and smart for a minute....hm....-she lights a candle- -stares at the small flame and daydreams-

Setting is in the past, Nikki Kotetsu is a happy child, with a loving family and friends, but something will happen to change all of it...

-tup tup tup, the sounds of tiny footsteps running on wooden floors-

N: Mommy!!! -a small girl runs up to her mothers apron and tugs on it-

M: Hm? Yes my darling?

N: Mommy where is daddy?! I want to show him something amazing! oh I wanna show you too! -she pulls out a tiny metal thing from her pocket- Look! I made steel! HeeHee! Now I can help Daddy in the Shop!

-her mother kneels to give her daughter a hug-

M: Oh Nikki! That is wonderful! My Little Girl is growing up! -smiles- But i think you are still too young to help your father in the shop, you have to be 12 years old to handle the hot stove your father uses to make Kunai...

N: aw you mean i have to wait until I'm Satoshi's age to help Daddy!? Aw thats no fair! -pouts-

M: -just smiles- But perhaps if you train and learn to control and modify steel more and better I think we can work something out so can help him, even if it is a little, how does that sound?

N: -pout turns to a huge smile- You mean it Mommy! Thats sounds Cool! i gotta Tell Daddy! -startes to run towards the shop but stops- oh Mommy?

M: Yes my dear?

N: Where's Satoshi i wanna show him my cool Steel!...thingy!

M: He is with your father oh and tell them that dinner will soon be ready!

N: Okay!!!!

At her father's shop
N biggrin ADDY! SATOSHI!! Where are you?! I gotta show you guys something cool!! -runs around the shop some more-

S: Nikki-chan?

N: Nii-san! -tackles- I was looking for you! and daddy too! I wanna show you something! -searches her robes- Here it is!! -sticks out her hand for her brother to see-

S: hm? -looks at the strange shiny thing in her hand- ...what is it?

N: Aw cant you tell!? Its Steel! i modified my first piece of earth into Steel! isnt that awesome!!

S: ..-his eyes widen as he comes to the realization of his sister's words- Oh My God! Nikki-chan you can modify steel! -gives her a huge bear hug- I am so proud of you! And at such a young age! I was at least nine years old till i could somewhat modify steel! and you at 7! -hugs her once more- We have to tell father! -tugs her to their father's workshop-

S: Father! Come take a look at what Nikki-chan has done!

F: Hm? Wha? -gets a shiny piece of steel shoved in front of his face- What is this?

S & N: ITS STEEL!!!!!

F: Steel? -looks at his daughter- Nikki did you modify this?

N: -nods- Yes! -hyper-

F: -examines the steel once more then brusts into a huge smile- Well i must say this is an accomplishment! my daughter arleady an expert at Steel modification! i am so prouid of you! And at a young age too!

S: yeah I told her the same thing -smiles-

N: HeeHee!

F: This calls for a celebration! To toast to Nikki's first steel modification! One day my daughter along with Satoshi will take over this business and make me proud...

N & S: You betcha! We wont let you down!

F: haha thats my kids! -gives them a hug-

N: Oh yeah mom told me to tell you guys that Dinner is ready!

F: Lets go! A feast let us have!

S & N: Yay!!!

and that was the scene for the night a mini party between the four Kotetsu family members, it was a happy memory, the last Nikki Kotetsu will ever know

A week has passed since then and Nikki Kotetsu is at Ninja Academy while Satoshi is off on a mission with his teammates, it is night and Nikki is returning home late because of extra ninjutsu practice

N: -tup tup tup- oh i can beleive practice took so long! heh being a ninja is my back-up plan! I want to be a Blacksmith and take over Daddy's shop along with nii-san! -shes talking to herself-

She arrives home but before she even get near enough to the gate of the Kotetsu Clan

KABOOM!!!!

N: -eyes widen-.....-then she screams- MOMMY!! DADDY!!! AHHHHH!

The nearby neighbors come out of their homes after hearing the explosions and begin to panic over the fire

People: Oh My god! the manor is burning quick get the fire brigade!!!
P: oh no! the fire is spreading!!! P: get this child to safety!!!! P: Someone call the Hokage!!! Get some Help!!

But to Nikki everything just seems a blur that is until someone tries to take her away from her home

N: Noo!!!! Let me Go! My Mother and Father are Still in There!!!!AHHH!!!

She tries to run inside but is stopped by the people, but then out of the corners of her tear ridden eyes she sees movement leading away from the fire, she believe it might be her parents so she quickly follows

N: Wait! Stop! Mommy! Daddy! Stop!!! -she trips and continues to cry-

the ninja stops and looks at her

N: who...who are you?

N: i am but a simple assain paid to destroy your life and family but to keep you alive...i set fire to your house, but i killed your parents beforehand....-he looks down- i am sorry but it was my job...we will meet again...goodbye..

And with that leaves Nikki stunned

N: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! -shock cause her to faint- -passes out-

the fire ever so slowly crepes towards her thearting to consume her as well...

Whispered voices were heard in the hallways of the hospital, Nikki Kotetsu slowly opened her eyes...

N: -half asleep she sits up on her hospital bed-

A nurse comes into the room to check-up on her

Nurse: Oh! Child your awake! I'll quickly get Tsunade-sama!

N:...-quietly watches the nurse leave-

Moments later running footsteps are heard outside her door

S: Nikki!! -he runs to her and hugs her, tears spilling out of his eyes- Nikki!! I'm so sorry I wasnt here! I could of saved our parents! I'm sorry Nikki!!! I'm sorry!

N:...

S: Nikki? Whats wrong?

N:...

S: -he looks at her and when he relizes he doesnt get a response from her he worries- Tsunade-sama!!!!

in Tsunade's office

Tsu: it seems your sister has shut herslef from the people and events that surround her, its nothing serious to worry about, its her own way to protect herself from the incident that happend to your family...

S: will she recover?

Tsu: Yes...and no...It depends...you have to help Satoshi you have to help her get out of this selcusion as her brother it is your right....

S: i understand Tsunade-sama...

It has been two months since the fire and yet Nikki has to say a word, one day she and Satoshi were outside for a walk in the park, Satoshi had just gone to get drinks for them and Nikki was left near an anthill, she stares

Ants:-tup tup tup- -pick up pebbles and build their home underground-

N: -stares and notices a shiny peice of glass next to her- - she picks it up and holds it up against the sun-

Ants: ahh!! it burns!!! ahh!!! -burns to ashes-

N:....-her eyes widen a bit when she notices the ant died by fire cause by the glass- -on an impluse she grabs a rock and unknowliy steel modifys it- -the steel its shinier than the glass so she wonders if it would produce the same effects, she holds it ot the sun-

Ant: ah!!! fire!!! noo!!!! gah!! -dies-

N:...-another inpluse- ..Fire style Jutus! Fireball! Anthill Aflame ...cool...hahah....hahahahaahaha.....HAHAHAHA....MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! BURN BURN!!!!MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH!!!!! HAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAAHAHAHAHA!

Satoshi hearing the manaical laughter coming from where his sister is rushes towards her and notices that she is the one causeing that laugh, a laugh that scares him. He tries to calm Nikki but to no avail

N: MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAH! BURN YOU CREATURES BURN!!!!!!!!

S: Nikki! calm down! what is wrong with you! calm down!!!! Nikki!!!!!!

But Nikki has snapped and for the next seven years he has spent on trtying to find out why....Nikki Kotetsu sometimes becomes the girl she once was but mot times it is she psyco personaltity that comes through instead....which brings us to preasent day....
