Hi. I am Megan. I have recently became interested in photography. I am 16 and in the fall I will be in 11th grade and I am taking a photography class. I live on the east coast of the U.S.
I have a digital camera, but its pretty useless because it works best outdoors( I cant take pics of things indoors well) and in well lit areas and my flash doesnt work the way I want it too. I do plan to buy a nice camera with some money I am saving up from working in the summer.
My favorite things to take pics of are animals and nature.

I'm Jessica, 17, just out of high school and not in college til 2007. I'm hoping that means lots of photography for a year. =3 I've been into photography my whole life basically, but I've been into the fine art aspect for about three years. I have a Nikon d70, three amazing lenses [12-24mm wideangle, 25-80mm, 55-200mm], and I don't ever plan to take a class [except in history aspects of it].
My favorite subjects are anything photojournalistic and not planned and architecture [thank you Chicago].

Hello there. My name is Amanda, I'm 20 (but will be 21 on July the 20th! Whee!) and I live in a small Pennsylvania town. There really isn't much around here, so a lot of the picture I take are of nature-y type things. I just recently reliezed how much I like to take pictures, recently as in earlier in the month. The camera I use is an Olympus FE-100, a sort of cast-off camera that my mother didn't like so she gave to me. xD

I just set up a deviantart account for myself and my pictures, so if you'd like check it out. There isn't much to see there just yet, but I plan on changing that soon enough.

A big Hello to all!

My name is Kim, I'm 17 years old, and live in a boring area in Ohio. My interest in photography started about 2 years ago, and since then I've decided that I will become a professional photographer. I plan on going to school for photography in Massachusetts or California (depending on which college accepts me)
The camera I use is either my dad's digital camera (Canon powershot a410) or my own film camera (Canon Rebel k2), or if school is in session I'll use my art teacher's digital camera.. which I can't remember the name of it, but let's just say it's nice.

I don't have my pictures on an online gallery yet, so I guess you'll just have to see if I post them on here. xd

I have had 14 pictures published, in 5 or 6 different small magazines, Including the Gad Fly which goes to all the cummunity colledges here in KY. Hello, you can all call me Wings, my screen name is the name of my hopeful future art buisness. I just turned 23 ad well as just graduated with my Bacholor of Arts in Art with a 2D emphasis from UW Stevens Point. I live in Milwaukee Wisconsin (yes indeedy the Beer Capitol itself, and though I might on ocassion photograph beer or bars don't ever expect an image of a cow...just don't stare ) Let's see I've wanted to be a photographer since I was about 9 years old, specificly I wanted to take pictures like the ones I'd oggle every month in National Geogrphic. I remember when the movie "Wild America" came out, that only spured my desire even more. I was going to go to a tech school right after high school but my parents insisted on a four year college so I initially thought I'd study biology...that lasted all of the first part freshman orientation when I said I think not and switched to art. I really didn't get along with my photo proffesor so that didn't work either...then I found Anthropology...now more than ever I want to get my pictures published in NG someday, but I want them right along side my articles about people instead of animals...you can take a gander at my deviant gallerey and see how culture is my biggest inspiration.

Bonjour.
I'm Heather. I'm 15 and I live in Orlando, Florida. There isn't much to photograph here except buildings and tourists. I'm more for the vintage style of things. So, I mainly take pictures of nature, and some older parts of the city. Well, I'm a sophmore in Highschool, so I haven't taken any photography classes in school because we don't have them. But, my Father was a photographer for a ballooning company when I was young, so I grew up with cameras.

Right now, I'm using a Canon Powershot A520. But my father might give me some of his old cameras to use.

I love to be given a challenging subject or area to work with. They make me think. And those seem to be my best pictures.

I'm Taryn. You can either call me that or GHC, whichever suits your preference. Seventeen, currently residing somewhere in Western Canada. It's a relatively indistinct place, but there are some surprising photo opps. I've surprised myself over the past year or so, just because of all the interesting things I've found to photograph here. I never knew they existed. I've been actively interested in photography for about a year and a half now, although I've been taking photos since I was about eight [when I got my first yellow Kodak film camera]. I have never taken a legitimate photography course, and most of what I know I retained from reading books.

My favourite types of photography are macro and black & white. I currently use a Canon S2 IS digital camera for all general shooting purposes, spontaneous shoots, and shoots where I intend on taking a vast amount of shots. I'm not that fond of digital though, I only use it out of necessity. Hoping to buy a film SLR in the near future [looking at the Canon Elan 7N currently]. Although film is more expensive, I prefer the quality of it's black and white prints to the black and white conversions of digital.

My name is Sandra, and i live in Monterrey, México. Im still learning photography, I took a few photography courses but I really don't know much at all... i always have trouble with light. I love taking pictures though, mostly I take pictures of mountains or landscapes when i go on road trips, but i also like to take pictures of strange things, abandoned places and cats.

I've never taken a photography class, but I do video, so I know the basics and such. I also just got a new camera I've working on figuring out. A digital one. I would just...read the instruction book...but it's in German, and I don't know enough to read it through. sad
