Sakura's got the brains and the strength, shes quick-witted and strong-willed. Hinata's too shy and really has a hard time fighting anyone let alone another kunoichi. She didn't even face a real fighting challenge until she went up against Neji, and she lost.

And no, I'm not just saying this because Sakura's my favorite character (EVEN THOUGH SHE IS! SAKURAAAAA!). I just think she's stronger, pre and post-time-jump.

Wait we haven't even seen Hinata's abilities in post-timeskip and she doesn't ever seem nervous activating her Byakuugan after NejivsHinata....and remember Neji is GENIUS and Hinata is accounted as a failure and is BARELY starting to change in the Chunnin exams and Neji emotionally attacks her....of course she is nervous, considering she is fighting the one who is surpasses her. And all the other kunoichi went against eachother(except Kin) except Hinata! And Hinata's chakra control is really good, yes Sakura's is too but when she develops her own move(Shugo Hakke RokuJuuYon Sho) She makes razor sharp strings of chakra from her hands and it IS the ultimate defense and includes offense too. Why this is good chakra control? Going back to the NejivsNaruto fight TenTen is explaining more about Juuken and how it works. Well she says that when Neji does his Heavenly Spin he sprouts chakra from his fingertips and does a swirling motion, she also says its amazing because ONLY A FEW JOUNIN CAN EVEN SPROUT CHAKRA AN INCH FROM THEIR FINGERS. Well Hinata's chakra strings that hit everything in her vision is even better chakra control...meaning Hinata would be a superb fighter. Sorry, but I'm going with Hinata on this one.

If you say pre-time jump, it would be Hinata. Just look at the fight between Sakura and Ino during the exam and compare it with the fight between Hinata and Neji.

After the time jump, I have no idea since I haven't saw it hehe.

When Hinata can dodge exploding ground, then maybe I'll give her a chance. BD Until then, Sakura takes the cake, and will continue to do so, because of the plain reason, she has more physical strength then Hinata.

Well, now that its happened in the anime they can't particularly take it out..."Oh sorry Hinata it was filler you don't know that move anymore."...Just because it's a filler doesn't mean the move never happened...Who knows? When the Team 8 arc finally comes out -___-....She could know it. I never said all the NaruHina moments happened but you can't just take the move out and say that never happened. I really don't care for your opinion either...and I'm just defending mine...as you did for yours.

b.) Trained by Tsunade. 0-0 Seriously.
