As Jack reached the boat, he spread his arms in a "what?!" expression. "A rope?" Wasn't it obvious he needed to get up there?!

Jaxine glanced behind her to see if no one was following her, but unfortunately, she saw the person named Gibbs standing where she was a few minutes before. The girl quickly jumped back into the forest, knowing she could hide better there.

The Heartless began to move again, aiming for Hataxn.
Xigbar simply leaned back in the air and watched. "You need to repeat that strategy! Or wait until it hits something. I don't care, really." Why waste energy on something the boy could better fight.

Zexion shoke his head as most of the ghosts were going after Nechax. He quickly dodged the ones that were trying to attack him, firing mostly Fire spells. Those seemed to be most effective on every Heartless that wasn't a Fire type.

Marluxia didn't agree to that, but he didn't try to get in a discussion either. They agreed, and that was what mattered. Opening a portal back to the Grey Area, he planned to be there as Vexen told the Superior about his "findings". Which number Four would without doubt.

Axel waited for a moment, but the girl didn't say anything. Boring. He probably got a silent type. Nothing like Myrthe at all!
"Lets go find that Heartless!" He wasn't even sure if that was the objective, but what else would Xemnas give them?

The man catched up on her sad behaviour, petting her back. "Really, your friend will be fine. How about you tell me what happened to the both of you?"
Then he got an idea. "Hm, we could go get some ice cream as well. It always makes talking easier! And once we get back, I think you can talk to your friend again. What's his name?"

Allayx simply listened to their short conversation, knowing not to interfere. Sometimes it felt odd to be in only their presence. Something seemed... different? It probably was nothing.
As the Superior said they would discuss more later, she wondered what exactly it was he wanted to talk about. But as they got their mission, she would have to forget about it for now.
Showing she was listening, and had no problem with going to Christmas Town, whatever it was for, she said: "Yes, sir." Her tone was respectful, just like with Saïx.

"You really are becoming my second teacher!" Myrthe joked, even though it was very true. She had spent as much, if not more time with Luxord than with Axel. Although part of her began to miss her bro already.

Pintel looked at Ragetti and swatted him over the head. “A rope!”
“Right!” Ragetti took a moment to come back to his wits. He ran around the deck searching for a rope to throw down, before finding one behind the many empty kegs. That would not be a sight for Jack to see when he came up. Ragetti threw the rope to Pintel to use while he threw the kegs below deck.
Frustrated at Ragetti, Pintel rolled his eyes before throwing the rope down to pull Jack up. They had their captain back!

“Where are you, girl?” Gibbs shouted. Then waited. He wasn't very good at tracking people down.

Blocking again, Hataxn wasn't hit this time. He would have to take this out on his own. That seemed to be a reoccurring theme with Xigbar. For Hataxn, he thought it was the ideal way to train. There were few he liked to work with.

Nechax thought he was doing well, until he got grabbed. He fought to get free as he was lifted higher into the air. Now he knew why Zexion said not to get grabbed.

Marching on through, Xemnas was right there for Vexen to speak to. Excellent! Vexen had to manage to be humble before speaking.
“Superior, two apprentices have managed to leave the world on their own. And he,” Vexen pointed at Marluxia as the other stepped out of the portal, “Convinced those two to do so. He probably also taught her to use portals.”
Vexen's snobbish attitude started to come out at that last part.
Xemnas made the Dusk disappear before turning to look at the two returning Nobodies. He gave both a calculating stare.
“Is this true, Eleven?” He turned to the accused first. Xemnas didn't believe much of what Vexen supposed about the cause, but he knew that Marluxia must have had something to do with it, however small the part was.

“We're facing a giant one?” Shaxirma guessed from Axel's words. She suspected so. Either way, she was prepared for a fight. Though, Axel did not seem to be anything like Marluxia.

Ice cream would make everything a little better. To Xathere, it was a rare treat. She had only eaten ice cream a couple of times in her life.
“Sure.” Xathere nodded to the kind man beside her. It would mean leaving Lars' side. But on the way, she could think of a cover-up for both of them. The people seemed friendly here; if the Organization tried to get the two, a few townspeople might spot them. “His name is Lars.”

Not one for a town so full of festivities, Saix opened a portal for Allayx to go through first. It was definitely not one of his favorite places to be, and Xemnas knew that.
Although he wanted to hear what Vexen and Marluxia had to report, Saix decided that the Superior would handle it best.

“I'm flattered.” Luxord grinned. He put his bowl in the sink, returning to kiss Myrthe. “Soon I bet we could get Xemnas to switch up the apprentices! Then we'll be put together more often.”

((Few ideas while writing this: once the missions are finished, Xemnas will want to have a meeting that's members-only to talk about the disappearances. Then the apprentices would be left to wander the castle without bumping into a mentor. Should be interesting. :3 Oh, and I was going to have Xathere call Lars Larry, but both the name sucked and I thought she wouldn't be smart enough for fake names.))

After he had to wait for a while, Jack finally got a rope! He quickly grabbed it and began to climb upwards, having done this a lot more often as a pirate.
As soon as he was on deck, he looked at the two. "Don't just keep standing there, gimme some rum!"

Jaxine wanted to stay quiet, but the Heartless once again got out of her grip to attack the man. She quickly went after it, not wanting to send an innocent person to his death, and jumped forward to grab it, falling onto the ground.
As soon as it was safely in her arms, the girl glanced up, seeing Gibbs standing there. He should at least appreciate she saved his life!

Xigbar simply watched as the Heartless kept on spinning, eventually, to Hataxn's luck, hitting an object and stopping for a moment.

When Zexion saw the boy had been grabbed, he quickly fired a Fira spell to damage the Hover Ghost and have it release the boy.

Marluxia stepped out of the portal, immediately being blamed for the disappearance of the two children. Of course, he had not expected anything else.
"I am not sure why Vexen would fasely accuse me of all that. Seeing he is the one spying on Lars, I thought he would speak the truth." Marluxia calmly answered, humbly accusing number Four of a crime.
The Graceful Assassin glanced at Xemnas, immediately having a report follow: "We went to search for the two, and have reason to believe they are in Twilight Town. Lexaeus has stayed to keep an eye on it."

"It's the only objective that can make itself obvious!" Axel answered with a grin. He began to walk forward, wondering if that fairy would be around. Flying made the missions here so much easier!

"Lars. I knew a man named Lars once." The man shoke his head with a smile. "Come on. You can tell me your story on the way there." He slowly walked over to the door, feeling his back from all the moving he had to do. The man wasn't used to lifting heavy stuff, especially not people!

Allayx walked through the portal, and as she stepped out and looked around, she couldn't help but be... surprised. She knew what christmas was, but never was one to celebrate it. Her family had always forced her too, though. Saying it would be fun. And they had been kind to her, yes. But everyone was just a bit too... happy.

"As long as I still get time to spend with my bro!" Myrthe answered, not wanting to leave him out. Or so easily forget about him.
Her cheeks flushed again at the kiss, still not getting used to it.

(( Ohh, sounds good. We need to RP the meeting as well. xD
Good thing you didn't... Larry is not a very... good name. xD ))

Pintel just stood there as Ragetti finished throwing barrels down below. He gave Jack a blank stare.

Gibbs jumped at what occurred behind him, whipping around to see that he found who he was looking for.
“There you are!” He offered a hand to her. Gibbs could be a little courteous. It wasn't the girl's fault that she was here.

Rushing forward, Hataxn swing his tomahawk at the Heartless. Every hit counted. He had to make the most of it if he wanted to be done quickly. Xigbar wasn't one of those partners that Hataxn did not mind.

Hitting the ground hard, Nechax winced as he pulled himself up. He shook his head of the fogginess, then searched around for his sword. Where did it go?!

Vexen gawked. “I was only doing that to gather data on the boy's recovery! As a scientist should do! But I have proof!”
He pulled the camera out of his pocket and waved it around. “Xathere reveals it all! She's actually turning out to be quite the little seductress.”
Glad to hear that some immediate action was being taken on it, Xemnas came up with another quick resolve for the time. “Good work, Eleven. However, I have more pressing matters to attend to. This will have to wait until later. We will have a meeting when everyone returns. Members only.”
Opening a portal, Xemnas left the other two to do whatever they would do. He could really care less. Although Xemnas should have questioned Marluxia further, he decided someone else would know more than him. Therefore, he appeared in Olympus Coliseum.

“How are we going to search for it?” Shaxirma sounded doubtful. They could not get off this rock in any other way than swimming in what looked to be very cold water. The rock wasn't very big, either.

Xathere slowly followed the old man. She wasn't sure where to start yet, nor what to say. But she had to do something. “We're running away from the people that beat Lars. They're looking for us.”

“Let's make this quick.” Saix stated. There was a cry from the sky, as an Avalanche Heartless flew overhead. There was the target. He summoned his claymore, watching for a point where the bird would come to the ground.

“Of course!” Luxord laughed. “We always end up hanging out somehow.”
Myrthe worried a lot about that. They were the only ones in the Organization that never took any threats seriously.

((I was planning on that. XD))

"Rum?" Jack spread his arms again. Wasn't it obvious what he wanted? "We had a few more barrels left!" He glanced around the deck. "Wait, where did they go? Where'd rum go?" A questioning expression was on his face as he faced the two again.

Jaxine didn't take the hand as she got up, not liking it to touch other people. Instead, she just stayed quiet, ready to run away any moment with her Heartless held tightly. The last thing she wanted was someone really killing it.

Xigbar kept on watching the scene, suddenly seeing a portal open and a man walking through. Xemnas. So the leader figured it out, eh? His daughter was missing. And Xigbar was always the first suspect. Now, he only had to act like he didn't know about anything!
Instead, he kept on watching Hataxn as the Heartless began to spin again.

Zexion saw the boy's sword a few feet away from him. He had to choose between protecting the boy or getting the sword for him. The first option sounded more efficient. So he held the Hover Ghosts off while the boy lay on the ground.
"Get up!" He said loudly with more emotion than normal. Didn't he realize there was no time for being slow?

"Of course, Superior." Marluxia answered as the man left, turning to look at Vexen. He didn't say anything though, and simply left the Grey Area. The Gracefull Assassin didn't enjoy being in number Four's presence. Especially not now. He couldn't help but wonder though what Xemnas was up to. And where his apprentice was. Shouldn't he be more strict when it came to her? Or perhaps she ran away as well...
He smirked at that thought. The Superior's apprentice betraying the Organization. How amusing.

"Just... walk around, see what happens!" Axel replied, shrugging. He never really thought about it. Eventually you'd just run into it!

The man lead her to the clocktower where they sold the sea-salt ice cream. "People beating you up?" Giving her a worried expression, he asked: "My dear, what did you get yourself into?!"
He placed a warm hand on her shoulder, assuring her it would all be okay.

Allayx nodded, immediately looking up at the sky as she saw the Heartless. She swiftly summoned her Keyblade, waiting for the Avalanche to come down. "And lets not do it like yesterday." She added, trying to ignore the pain in her stomach.

"Alright!" Myrthe smiled, although she still wasn't sure about it. Axel had taught her more so far... Oh well!
"We were going to... pester Dusks?" She looked up at him with one of her cutest expressions. Although she did not realize this.

“Uh...” Pintel stuttered, looking at Ragetti for help. They just looked back at Jack with their oblivious faces.
“What rum?” Ragetti asked.

“What were you thinking chasing after that thing? The men could have killed you rather than it!” Gibbs decided to scold her. She was young. She probably needed it.

Blocking, Hataxn was getting used to this. He would have no more problems taking his Heartless down.
Xemnas stepped closer to Xigbar. The Freeshooter was up in the air, needing to come down to speak with his Superior. He looked up at the other and waited for him to come down.

Dragging himself up, Nechax looked around and found his sword. Then he grabbed it and began to fight again. He tried staying as fast as possible.

With a 'humph', Vexen used a portal to go to his lab. He was not assigned to do anything until that meeting. He would make use of that time.

Shaxirma looked doubtfully at Axel. She wondered who his apprentice was again. She also wondered how the apprentices were paired up with their teachers. There could have been some system involved. But to know that, she would have to ask Xemnas.

Xathere began to tear up. “I don't know. They took me and my family in and we were mostly separated. I met Lars and they were beating him, so I had to get him out of there.”
She explained very quickly, and said more than she should have. She really regretted not at least pulling Hataxn along, if not her whole family. Xathere felt selfish.

“Is that a complaint?” Saix hid his smirk from Allayx. So she still felt the remains of them both becoming uncontrollable. Good. There was less chance of it happening again. It had been a waste of time.
The Avalanche swooped down onto a snowy hill and shrieked again. Saix ran towards it.

“Yes, my dear Ducky.” Luxord chuckled at her face, pinching her cheek. “How do you get away with a cute face like that?”
He linked his arm with her's, preferring this over just holding hands. It kept them close, and they could both walk.

((That old man needs a name. XD Sorry if the Avalanche acts more like an Ice Dragon from Skyrim.))

Jack's eyes widden for a moment, then he frowned in confusion. "The rum we drank? There was still some left when I left the ship?" It then got to him: "...You didn't drink all of it, di' you?"

Jaxine glared at him. "Who are you to tell me that? I owe you no answers." If he was going to be strict on her, then fine, so be it. Didn't mean she'd actually accept it.

Xigbar got the hint and let himself fall down, bending through his knees as he landed. Quickly standing again, he looked at Xemnas. "What can I help you with, bossman?" Oh, how good he was at acting. No one would see the difference.
"It's not very often you join me on my mission."

Zexion backed down from the Heartless again, making room for Nechax to fight. There were only four from the six Hover Ghosts left now. Although if the boy got grabbed again, he'd need a potion.

Marluxia made way to his garden, deep in thought about everything that had been happening to the Organization. And how he was just a small part of it. Of course, he gave Xathere more reason to run away, but he never actually convinced her to do so. He wasn't even aware she was planning it.

It didn't take long, or the fairy came to them, recognizing the redhead. Yet as soon as she saw the other girl, she hit behind Axel.
"There we have our ride!" Axel said happily, turning to face the little fairy. "You gonna help us fly again, or what?"

The man looked somewhat shocked at hearing this, giving the girl a sad look. "But that's horrible! Who do these people think they are to do that?!" He had never heard of such a story before, although he did remember some kids talking about people in black coats...

"More like a reminder." Allayx answered, hiding her smile from him. She doubted he was loosening up, but the atmosphere from this mission was rather good so far.
She quickly made her way to the Heartless, following after Saïx who noticed it quicker.

"Eh... I just do?" Myrthe answered, not quite sure what he meant with it. Was she really that cute?
A giggle left her mouth as their arms got linked. The girl didn't know what to think of it, but simply accepted it, letting him lead the way to wherever.

(( Eh, name, name... I'm bad at male names! xD Oh, I have no idea how those Ice Dragons act.. and I actually liked it. x3 ))
PostPosted: Fri Jun 08, 2012 1:07 pm
“No! Jack, we're only two men!” Pintel waved his arms at the ridiculous suggestion. They had to keep Jack from going below deck somehow....

Not expecting her to fight it, Gibbs wasn't sure what to say. “I'm in charge of watching you.”

“You were speaking of Jaxine earlier.” Xemnas stated. Nothing about Xigbar was giving an indication of guilt. He did not want to make this obvious. “I hope you have been leaving her alone.”

Moving smoothly now, Nechax was getting better at what he was doing. He was sure some Ghosts were ready to die after a few more swings.

Confused at first, Shaxirma saw a fairy. That was not something she was used to. She watched Axel converse with her, feeling a little awkward. Shaxirma was sure there weren't fairies before now.

“I don't know.” Xathere did know, but she would say no more about it. She had probably talked too much. But now she was only concerned about being selfish. She couldn't go back and fix that mistake. Xathere was disgraceful.

Saix was too busy hitting the bird Heartless with his claymore to pay any more attention to Allayx. The Heartless roared again, shooting some ice at them.

Luxord decided the long way would be best. He strolled out of the kitchen with Myrthe's arm around his. Very cute.
“Then I am a lucky man.” He commented.

((Ice dragon is my excuse to not look up the data. XD Hm.... What's a good name?))

"Then where did you leave it?!" Jack asked, glancing at the deck. After a short silence, he began to make his way to the stairs that lead below deck.

"I don't need you to watch me." Jaxine replied, still holding her Heartless. She didn't want this to end in a fight, at all. But she was sure she could intimidate the man somehow, if necessary. She still had her weapons... That would take him off guard.
If Xemnas could just come soon! And teach her how to open a portal. Somewhere, she was ashamed she still couldn't figure it out by herself.

"Of course, Xemnas!" He didn't use the nickname "Xemmy" because of the apprentice listening. Wouldn't do him a lot of good. "Well, I did bump into her last night. She was chasin' some kind of Heartless." He spoke as if he didn't know the thing was important to her. "Any idea what that was about?"

Zexion was glad to see at least some improvement. It wasn't much though. Yet at least the boy wasn't completely hopeless. The Cloaked Schemer could see why he had gotten this one. Although he had rather gotten an apprentice that was smart already.
He kept on firing his fire spells, weakening the Heartless just enough for Nechax to defeat.

"If you could just do that dust thing again so me and my friend here can fly?" Axel asked the fairy, who seemed to think about it for a bit. Eventually, she nodded and began to fly around both of them, letting dust fall down.

The man shoke his head. "If I can help you somehow, feel free to ask me anything!" He then smiled at her. "You can tell me anything. I won't spill your secrets." He really felt sorry for this lovely young woman. To have her life wasted like that!

Allayx was about to hit the Heartless, yet it began attacking them. She jumped out of the way of the ice, this time being able to land on her feet as she did so.
Her Keyblade then went forward, the girl aiming for it's head. That seemed to be one of the weakests spots of all creatures.

"Perhaps you are." Myrthe laughed at this. She didn't think someone was extremely lucky to have her as girlfriend. Really, she never thought about anything like that. It just wasn't something that kept her busy! She was fine either way, with or without a guy.
"So where we goin'?" Her voice was excited.

(( xDD I dunno about the name though. Dx ))

Ragetti tried blocking Jack's path. Neither of them had a clue on how to distract Jack.
"Uh... Say capt'n, where's the rest of the crew?" Ragetti pondered.

Gibbs scoffed at that. From what he saw so far, she did need someone to watch her. At least he knew the island better than she did.
"Someone has to do it, princess. I doubt you'd want the other men to." He rolled his eyes at her.

That pathetic Heartless was still around. Xemnas was sure it would have met some kind of demise while Jaxine wasn't looking. But that was not the case, apparently.
"No." Xemnas lied with narrowed eyes at Xigbar. Somehow he suspected the other to be avoiding the answer. "I was not aware of any Heartless in the Castle."

Knowing that he was improving, Nechax continued to hit the Heartless as much as he could. His attacks were stronger. But he moved slower. Nechax settled for that. If the Heartless would disappear faster...

Shaxirma eyed the dust suspiciously. She had no idea what it was or what it could do. She should have known it was fairy dust. The Organization seemed to have a lot of experience with magic.

"Thank you." Xathere said to the man. She was not comfortable with saying any more secrets. It would end badly, she was sure. Already having asked for clothes, Xathere wasn't sure what else to ask the man for.

The Avalanche swung its head around as a weapon as Allayx approached. Saix went for its belly, assuming that it would be a tender spot to the Heartless. It was for many beasts.

"Where the Dusks usually gather." Luxord said. He was full of luck, after all. That helped him win at all sorts of card games, and get all kinds of girls. Although he had never met a girl quite like Myrthe.

"On the island, of course!" Jack was getting annoyed now. These two were obviously hiding something. He pushed them out of the way, and went beneath the deck.

"Fine. I'll watch myself, then." Jaxine stated as she turned around and began to walk away. Why was she brought here in the first place? Xigbar wasn't around to do anything to her.
The Heartless in her arms began to squirm, making her sigh. What did that thing want?!

"Geez, you should keep an eye on her, S'perior." Xigbar said, quickly glancing over at the boy to see how he was doing.
"What's the problem anyway? Shouldn't you both be on a mission right now?" The Freeshooter turned back to Xemnas, still acting as if he knew nothing about her disappearance.

One more Heartless was defeated, as Zexion took a few steps back and let Nechax handle the rest. He was here, though, for if the boy got caught again by the creatures.

Axel grinned as he looked at Shaxirma. "This is where the fun begins." He closed his eyes, believing he could fly, and suddenly, he did. As he opened his eyes again, he saw he was indeed flying above the ground.

The man nodded with a smile as they reached the clocktower. He went in and bought two sea salt ice cream for them, handing one to Xathere. "There you go, dear."

Allayx quickly used her weapon to block the attack, being pushed backwards a few feet by the strenght of the Avalanche. She couldn't deny she was getting a bit irritated, yet she ignored it. The moment she thought about it, her wound began to hurt. Enough reminder to stay calm.

"Which is where?!" Myrthe was getting excited now. She wasn't all that sure about Dusks, what they did and what they were, but Luxord seemed to know all about them!
PostPosted: Wed Jun 13, 2012 9:20 am
Pintel and Ragetti started talking at the same time, but it was gibberish. They went after Jack, trying to get him back up to the deck. Unfortunately, Ragetti hadn't hid the barrels further after throwing them down the hatch. They laid everywhere.

Seeing that the girl wasn't going to stop, Gibbs sighed to himself. "Get back here! The capt'n won't be pleased if I lose you again!"
Gibbs actually doubted that Jack could care less whether or not the girl disappeared or stayed with them.

Hataxn had no idea what was going on behind him. He just continued to block the Heartless until there was a moment where he could attack. This was a fairly simple tactic, now that Hataxn was used to it.
"She can watch out for herself." Xemnas stated coldly. If not, then Jaxine had to learn. However, he doubted she was learning anything at the moment. Wherever she was.
Xigbar wasn't going to give an answer. It seemed that Xemnas would have to do extra work for something that should have been easier.
"Did you see where she and the Heartless went?"

Not paying attention to how many were left, Nechax only cared to hit the Heartless that were around. When he lost sight of one, he went after another. He kept moving with this.

"How did you do that?" Shaxirma almost demanded that Axel tell her. Anywhere else they couldn't just fly! It must have been from the fairy. She knew she would be able to do it too, but there was something else to it. Other than being sprinkled on.

Xathere nodded her thanks, eager to eat the ice cream. Although she did not have much of an appetite. She looked out to the horizon, wondering what was going on with Lars at the moment. Perhaps he would be awake when she returned. Then they had to find a place to stay. Eventually they would have to move again.

Whipping its tail and neck, the Avalanche flew into the air again. It flew high, where neither of them could reach it. Saix hissed in irritation at that. He hated flying Heartless.

"You'll find out soon, Ducky." Luxord laughed at her excitement. She was just full of energy! She would definitely keep him a busy man. And it wasn't a bad thing, either.

As Jack saw the empty barrels he first couldn't believe it. He ran down and trid to see if there was still any rum left. When he realized there wasn't, he looked up ath Pintel and Ragetti. "Why'd you drink all the rum?!"

"Good luck explaining it to him, then." Jaxine said as she continued to walk, wondering how she would get home. Perhaps trying to teach herself how to make a portal would work. Although... she needed to make sure no one could see her. So far, the pirates didn't seem to know anything about who she really was yet.

"Sure, she can. Just three days of training with the Superior and she's already the best apprentice out there, right?" Xigbar teased, knowing it was probably how Xemnas was thinking.
"Eh, they went towards Marluxia's garden." He made up. Why not shove her disappearance on a traitor? Couldn't do a lot of harm.

Zexion realized it was taking a bit too long and used one strong spell to defeat all of the Heartless at once. "We should move on." He stated calmly.
Sure, all of them had powers to easily deal with Heartless. Just no one seemed to actually use them.

"You just need to think you can fly, and there you go!" He answered with a smile. It was a pretty awesome thing to do. Roxas had taught him how to do it.
Roxas... He wondered how his friend was doing.

The man began to walk to his house while slowly eating his ice cream. "Come, follow me." He said. The children needed to get some clothes, so that's why he would bring her to his house. Perhaps they needed a place to sleep as well!

Allayx glanced up at the thing, then at Saïx. "Any way to get it back down here?" She asked, wanting to defeat this thing now. Her voice was still rather calm though.

Myrthe pretty much jumped up with excitment. She couldn't wait to have some fun!
PostPosted: Thu Jun 14, 2012 5:42 pm
"We didn't drink all of it!" Pintel waved his arms, thinking it would help prove his point. "We had help from the other two guys!"
"There were two other guys?" Ragetti looked at Pintel. He couldn't remember that well. Pintel just slapped the back of his head in frustration.

Gibbs waited some more, but clearly she did not plan on returning. "Hey! Get back here!"
After trudging through the brush of the island, he did not want to do it again. Fine! He would let the other men get after her! They could handle the Heartless, right? They should be capable.

Finally something that was useful to Xemnas. He created a portal and turned to leave. "When you've dismissed your apprentice, we will have a meeting in the Round Room."
He took off, leaving Xigbar to relax and watch Hataxn do all the work.

Nechax was caught off-guard by the spell. The fighting was suddenly over. Zexion must have gotten impatient. They were wasting their energy with this.

That seemed overwhelmingly simple. Shaxirma doubted it was that easy. Yet she closed her eyes and did as Axel said. He was the teacher here. Although he couldn't be that much older than her.
After a moment of trying, Shaxirma opened her eyes. She was eye-level with Axel. At first that didn't surprise her, until she realized that he was still flying. Shaxirma looked to see that the ground was far from her feet. She couldn't believe it.

Following the old man, Xathere continued to gnaw at the ice cream before it could melt. She was a lot calmer now than before. Noting that her surroundings were very different from the Castle That Never Was, Xathere began to become hopeful. They got this far. They could get farther away.

"No." Saix said, holding back his irritation at the Heartless. It was early in the fight for him to be annoyed by this thing. It must have been the cheery world they were forced to work in. He could not wait to leave.

Going to the lower levels of the Castle, there were plenty of Dusks to tease. Luxord quickly got to work. The Dusks had not noticed them yet. He made a giant card appear in front of one. It bumped into it, making the card disappear. The Dusk had no idea what had just happened.

"What other two guys?" Jack asked, confused. "No one was supposed to get on board!" They didn't just abandon their job, did they?!

Jaxine simply ignored him completely, knowing it wouldn't do any good to get into a discussion. Yet at that moment, Heartless appeared, mainly Neoshadows.
She took a step back. First of all: she was in danger now without Xemnas. What if she got killed? Secondly: it's just wrong to kill Heartless in front of a Heartless! Third problem: she didn't want the pirate to see her weapons.

"Fine with me, boss!" Xigbar replied, knowing he was clear. At least, it seemed so. One never knew what Xemnas was really thinking.
The Freeshooter turned back to look at Hataxn. "How's it going?"

"Lets move on." Zexion stated calmly, not feeling anything. He just had his logical thinking, which said they were wasting time. What was the point in this mission anyway? Except for training.

"There you go!" Axel said as happily as possible. "Now, lets go find that Heartless." He flew forward, thinking it was easier to fly than it looked.

They quickly reached the house, the old man opening the door. No one stole things here, so it was quite safe to not lock the doors.
"Come in, come in." The man held the door open for her. "Ladies first." He gave a small wink, along with a warm smile.

"Ugh." Mistake one, a sign of irritation. Allayx should have kept it in, she realized too late. "So we wait?" She asked, more calm than how she actually felt.
If there was no other way to get the Heartless down, waiting seemed logical. But to do so every time it went up in the air? How long was this supposed to take?

"...How'd you make that giant card?" Myrthe laughed, amused by the Dusk's reaction. She would react exactly the same, thinking: "What in the worlds just happened?"
"What can I do?!"
