The Venting Junkyard Thread

Having a bit of a panic attack, here. It seems like everything is overlapping.

I really need to finish my costume by the 28th, and all I really have is the base of the helmet, the zentai, and boots. (And I’m worried the zentai is too tight. Is it supposed to take an hour to get into these things? And like, it take serious effort to bend over or raise my arms above my head. It seems sturdy, but I am scared to death I am going to bust a seam. And it sorta cuts into my boobs, which is not very flattering. I sent in my exact measurements, so I don’t know how the ******** it is so way way off. But they took so long getting the first one to me, there is no way I can get a second one in time.). So the loin cloth thingy will be simple. But I have no idea how to go about the cape. And I have a feeling I’m going to bust a few helmets in the process. (And I should probably get this out of the way first, because I’m gonna need time for craft foam and paint to dry.)

But meanwhile I also have to go see and review a play. Because every godamned selection seems to take place in October. And I am so not excited because I heard Dracula was s**t and the last thing I want to be doing is writing a four-page review on this tripe when I could be working on my costume.

Of course my other option is to go see a play that is about 40 minutes out of town during November about the Iraq War. And… uh… no matter how shitty our production of Dracula is, I’d really prefer it to that. I have friends who died in that stupid ******** farce - I really don’t need a play to tell me how pointless it all was.

I’m also much further behind in my reading than I thought because our professor has such a weird way of writing our assignments down. Like, the first few times he would write “Chapter 1” or “Chapter 2”, but then he switched off midway to titles such as “The Director” or “The Producer” so I thought those were subheadings in the chapters. But nope. Totally different chapters.

I also love that out of the two whole classes I missed, we apparently had quizzes both days, shooting my grade all to hell. But I have been there every day for the past month and NOT A SINGLE POP QUIZ.

The worst thing is that I am pretty sure I have enough time to do all of this if I would calm the ******** down. But my brain just keeps running around in circles going “Oh noooooooooooo” and I cannot ******** focus. Just… shoot me.

Thanks, Pasta. And... uh... the costume isn't going to be finished for a while. Too much s**t happened and I realized it's going to be pretty much impossible to make by Halloween, so I'm gonna shoot for the Avengers premiere.

I'm trying to get the approval to return the body suit, but they're just leading me around in circles. "Also, it may be miss the Halloween if we took the item back and made a new one for you, the shipping fee is expensive and it's inconvenient for you, right? So,could you please keep the item, we offer 10% discount for you, do you think it's ok?"

Um, I already said I wanted to return it because there were problems and I wasn't going to be able to use it for Halloween anyways. Please, stop ******** with me. Why didn't I realize this was a Chinese site?

In case anyone wasn't aware, the original Ghostbusters is back in theaters on a very limited run. (Three Thursdays in October, the first two are over. One showing left, next Thursday.)

Edit: And Liam is Cap and Carl is an MLP and Mirai is Rainbow Brite. Oh God, Oh God, what do?

Man, I really like the costumes this year. Carl has good taste in ponies, too - Pinkie Pie is amaaaazing!

I have no idea who Brennivin, Sam, and Logan are supposed to be.

It's kind of sad that I know almost all the rest though.
