Hello. I'm new, so I might as well do this. ^^

My name is Zoey. I am now 18, and I reside in northwest Ohio.

I became deeply interested in Photography when I was 15/16, but didn't do anything about it until the past year or so. I took
the two B&W Photography classes offered during my last year in high school. I wish to become a professional and hope I get
into Antonelli or SMFA Boston in the next year or two.

I have liked every kind of Photography I have tried so far except Photojournalism and Sport. So, I'm not yet sure which kind I
would like to do. Also, my art teacher submitted 3 of my pictures into the 2006 Art Focus show at the Toledo Museum of Art
and one of them got in. I am overly excited about it.

Right now I use a Canon EOS Rebel K2. I have a digital camera as well, but I do not like using it for photography. I also do not
have a gallery, but I just got a scanner. So maybe I will get one up soon.

I'm 15 years old, and live in Southern California. More specifically, 10 minutes away from Disneyland. Haha.

I've been into photograhy since a pretty young age, my sister was 9 years older than me... and into graphic art/ photography. She now does graphics for Paul Newman's racing cars...

I suppose that's about it. I love taking pictures of the sun, bodies of water, and animals... I have a Sony Cybershot, one of the older ones. It's okay for photography if it's fully charged. And thank the heavens I have a steady hand. Cybershot + shaking = SUICIDE.

Hi I'm Niki and I have a degree in fine arts photography. I live in New Hampshire, USA. I'm 25 and I hit a slump after college. Losing access to dark room facilities nearly killed my photography, but I recently bought a digital SLR and have started shooting again. I haven't been doing the fine art photography that I was doing in school. I've been shooting mostly Sports and Weddings, but if I find my camera pointed at just about anything else I'll shoot that too.

Hey, you can call me kessy or anything else, I don't really care. I love photography, and I would love to take more portraits but I'm really shy so people aren't my usual subjects. sweatdrop I've taken two photography courses at an art guild that has a dark room. In one of the classes I also got to explore alternative processes like cyanotype, pinhole, and polaroid transfers. I really love pinhole! Currently, my only option is a digital camera, which I've never attempted to use artistically, so that should be interesting.
I don't have a gallery online yet. I might scan some of my stuff though, before I didn't have a reason to, but this guild is looking like a friendly place to share my work. 3nodding

heh, pluma here, aka ashlee offline. i'm fifteen, soon to be sixteen in december, a sophomore in high school, and live in california, USA.

i've always loved photography. my first real camera was a small olympus (i can't remember the model name for the life of me at this moment) 3MP "point-and-shoot" digi cam. it served me well for a few years, but i grew envious of all the beautiful photos i'd seen people post on the internet and began longing for a newer camera. about a week ago, my dad took me to compUSA and we purchased an olympus e-500 8MP digital SLR. and it works like a dream. heart
