Hinata and Naruto are more of the Yin and Yang...Yin and Yang are opposites and always are together. Can't have shadow without light, and all that. Do you know how quiet that couple would be...?

Ano...Naruto-kun...

No. Seriously. No.

Neji and Hinata's ENTIRE CONCEPT was Yin and Yang. In NaruHina, neither of hem could be the dark, evil part.

Do you know how loud NaruHina would be? It would totally break Hinata to be with someone like Naruto, and she'd never be able to control him if he turned kyuubi. Really, think about it.

Who is Neji? A boy who's destiny was shattered thanks to another blonde failure, and his cousin, whom he learned to care about and love.

Naruto, however, has no feelings that strong for Hinata. She's a good friend, hardly even a girl. He is oblivious to all feelings she has for him, and that ruins the whole 'point' of NaruHina, Hinata admitting herself to him.

Really, would Naruto just be like: Wow, Hinata-chan likes me!? I think I'll give up on Sakura-chan, who I have always been there for, and whom I have always accepted, and who has always been by my side, for a quiet girl I really know nothing about! Bye, Sakura-chan! Oops, looks like you don't have anyone but Lee. D:

And because LeeSaku is hardly likely (due to one little hint I think Kishimoto made purposely, when Lee missed one leaf in his training to save a squirrel) this is leaving the main female completely out. Don't tell me about Sasuke, because if he comes back, will she accept him with open arms? No.

The only one I can imagine accepting him through anything is Ino, because she's just that kind of person.

Plus, Lee's with Tenten, so how would LeeSaku work out?

Back to NejiHina...Yin and yang was their whole thing. It was obvious - the chapter cover?

User Image

(Okay, that wasn't the cover, but hey....)

That's the best proof I can give you.

That Yin and Yang is couple wise...obviously. It's their views on life...that's the opposite part. I meant personality wise, Naruto and Hinata are opposites and that was the type of Yin and Yang I meant...I never said Naruto would accept her right away...but she was the first person he took his mask of I'm-the-ultimate-ninja and told her he's a screw-up, also Hinata did not just be like, "Okay, Naruto-kun...I agree with you." Nope, she immediately disagreed and told him he was a proud failure. No, it was not Sakura who he confided in first. Also, Hinata's ENTIRE CONCEPT is change...And who started her change? Who is her confidence? WHO IS HER ROLEMODEL? NARUTO! Not Neji....Naruto built the strength to fight him(Neji) and Neji tried to destroy it.

That Yin and Yang throws them off. For Naruto and Hinata, I mean. They're just too different. Neji and Hinata have their own type of Yin and Yang. They have similarities, but they are different too.

And no, he did not confide in Sakura. But really, before Hinata came into Naruto's life in the original manga she was the first female character to accept him. During the Naru-Kiba fight, she cheered him on. And before that, she developed that care for Naruto, and she was the first girl he ever looked up to and really cared about.

Hinata. A girl who's a side character, and the only reason she matters at all is because of her crush on Naruto. It was her admiration to Naruto that makes her stronger, because he admiration is her crush.

That's the thing I admire most about Hinata. She has a crush on Naruto for who he is, not what he looks like. But when Uzumaki Naruto is the main character, and Hyuuga Hinata is not, what is logical to happen? Just because, ya know, it's shonen, guys usually get the girls?

NaruSaku. Simply because.

Hinata continued to have that strength, even when Neji was defeating her. Had Neji gone easy on her, there would have needed to be strength. So really, wasn't Neji almost as big an influence as Naruto? Without Neji, she would have never needed the extra strength, or gained confidence from Naruto.

At the heart of it all, Neji was the one who helped her.

First of all, Hinata admiration is not a crush! You can say its not love for as much as you want, but in the end it doesn't matter! Kishi has wrote it is love before in her databooks, and nothing is going to change it...Second, The main characters getting together is WAY overused, and I think Kishi is more complicated than that...

Neji helping Hinata to change by almost killing her...? Isn't that an oxymoron...Okay play the scenario out if Naruto didn't cheer Hinata on and Neji still went full force on her. Hinata would've never gotten the strength to fight Neji...She doesn't start fighting and quite crying until Naruto calls Neji an idiot and tells Hinata to kick his a**. Neji could've fought her all he wanted but if it wasn't for Naruto...Hinata wouldn't have fought back. (Sad, but true)...She did need the strength, she needed the strength ever since her academy days...Naruto isn't the only reason she is trying to change. She wanted acceptance, by everyone...but out of everyone she most wanted to be noticed by one person...and that was NARUTO. Neji wasn't as big an influence as Naruto was on her, Was she thinking in her head, "Neji-nii-san...I've always watched you...and I don't know why but when I look at you...I get a spring of courage bubbling inside of me...So that's why...I will beat you!" Nope...Naruto was the one who gave her courage and Neji wasn't trying to kill her to help her...He almost killed her for revenge against her family. At the TRUE heart of it all, NARUTO was the one who helped her....In her databooks it doesn't even mention Neji once but..it mentions Naruto in all three ^^.

I know you think it would be great if Naruto got the girl he wanted since the very beginning, but I think it's even more awesome for Naruto to discover that there was someone who wanted him all along, someone he didn't try to impress, someone who likes him just for who he is.

It can be said that Naruto and Hinata are similar in way. They both seek aknowledgement from those around them. Naruto has been put down since he can remember, and hinata has been put down by her own father. They have gone through the same things and so it is easy for them to understand each other.

You TOTALLY misread me. You can love someone and still have a crush on them. Naruto loves Sakura, but still crushes on her because she's pretty. Sakura loves/loved Sasuke, but she still crushed on him! Yes, it's possible! And it happens all the time.

'Up and DOWN love story.' Not just a love story. Hinata has her ups and downs, being unsure, like anyone else. It's not perfect. And hell, it's as cliche as NaruSaku, if not even more.

Naruto is, in a way, the base of Hinata. Which makes me think: When will she learn not to try and lean on him? For some reason, when I look at Hinata, and see that everything about her is revolved around Naruto, I feel....Disappointed. Her strength comes from someone else, it's not even all hers.

If Hinata had gone against someone besides Neji, would Naruto have cheered her on? Yes, but not in the same way. Hinata would have been glad, but she wouldn't have been so pumped to try and change herself. Which proves exactly my point - Naruto was not the only one 'at the heart of it all'. You act like Neji's original point of view on life is the only point of view he never helped.

Naruto helped Neji and Hinata heal. He's the kind of kid who does that because it's who he is. He made the freaking promise of a lifetime for Sakura, so he could heal her as well. He also meant to heal Sasuke, but only got half-way through.

NaruSaku seems so cliche, yet, what I like about it is that their relationship is much deeper than people see it as. Plus, Naruto's going to end up with the main female. Whoever he ends up with will automatically be more popular/hated, and be a bigger character. And Sakura will be pushed out of the picture, perhaps thrown with Gaara, the last 'available and makes a lot of sense in a way' guy that's left.

NaruHina is cliche. Hinata is the girl who always crushed and admired Naruto, and perhaps loves now. She's cute, she's pretty, she's almost perfect, right? Wrong. She has these adorable flaws and she tries her hardest. And yet, the boy of her dreams whom she's always watched doesn't seem to think of her as anything more than a friend! How tragic!

When you've had two hours of interraction with someone, you're less than likely to end up with them. When you've made promises, cried for each other, and loved each other with whatever you've got, then perhaps, you have a bit more of a chance.

The whole point of NaruSaku that makes me think 'Wow' is the fact that Sakura really despised Naruto at the beginning.

But not because of her parents hating him as well.

Because he was getting in the way.

Which makes perfect sense why Naruto ran after her, and not Hinata. Hinata never expressed herself, so to Naruto, she was just another girl at the academy. Sakura, however, was busy crushing on his rival, so he was jealous - and soon, he realizes that Sakura is more than just a pretty girl.

She's a girl like him.

I have a friend, who's really quiet, and I'm really loud. If I spend too much time with her, I'll seriously want to rip my hair out. How do you think Naruto would deal with Hinata? It'd be....Troublesome for him.

And now I lost my train of thought, because I was watching an InoSaku, SasuSaku AMV. :3 Ah, well. It happens.

I'll leave it to Naruto for who Naruto gets with and for one the reason Naruto likes Sakura is because she strives for self-acknowledgement....Hmm who does that remind you of? Oh right, its Hinata's whole theme!

I don't think Kishi would build up Hinata's feelings all this time just to stick her with Gaara and for her to be able to be like, "Oh...I don't like him anymore! My change was just started by him that's nothing!"

Ok example time. Kishi is really inspired by Dragon Ball Z neh? Right, and Goku didn't end up with the main girl...the main girl was Bulma and who did he take YEARS to notice? Chi Chi.

And you don't have any proof if Naruto wouldv'e cheered her on the same way or not in going against someone else than Neji....For one...She went against Neji either way so, you can't change it...

NaruHina is not cliched in shonen manga...in shojo yes, but shonen NO. Main girl x Main boy is WAY cliched more than main boy x girl who gets less than 2 hours of screentime.

I never said he couldn't heal Sakura, and he also made a blood vow for Hinata...And Kishi has stated that blood vows are extremely important to Naruto (the character)...If you remember in one of the very first episodes where Naruto steals the scroll to learn Kage Bunshin and Iruka comes to the rescue. Some of Iruka's blood goes on to Naruto, stating the bond of sensei and student.

And EVERY love story is Up and Down...Seriously that's why a crush is called a CRUSH. Plus, Hinata has already learned not to lean on Naruto, heck she's promised to not get left in the dust because of his training. He helps her, but she wants to step closer in front of Naruto and not be behind him.(Symbolically speaking -__-;; )

Also, can you blame the girl for not getting more screentime?? She's a SUPPORTING character...and she is not on Naruto's team...of course Sakura is going to be with Naruto more! Team 7 is going through so much right now, you can't just compare that bond with Hinata's bond with Naruto. We'll see what happens when the Team 8 Arc finally appears (-___-** Start already waaah!)

I'll also deal with Naruto seeing if Hinata's troublesome or not...He sure doesn't seem annoyed with him saying, "I really like people like you." Saying he likes people opposite of him...so I don't think he views it as troublesome.

Okay, yes Hinata and Naruto are different...personality wise. But they have the same goal. To be accepted. They can understand eachother because they have both been through the same type of pain that no one else has. I'm not saying Hinata has experienced the same hatred Naruto has felt but still she has been scorned in the same manner.

On Neji...You're making it sound like Neji's whole intention was to help Hinata get stronger...sorry but it wasn't. Neji hated the main branch and Hinata was an easy target to get back them. But, Naruto changed this type of thinking in his head and Neji now respects him....He also respects Hinata's feelings toward him.

It's because every other team than Team 8 has had an Arc....And we're just expecting for them to come next. Team 10's just ended and before that was Gai's Team...and Team 7 well...They always have an Arc....Team 8 Arc is a prediction...but I'm pretty sure it's coming soon.

It's been a while since I thought about this pairing, more or less since the last time I read this thread. Anyway, I was thinking back on the history of large powerful clans throughout the world. Most of the time cousins were betrothed to one another, correct? I'm sure this has been pointed out several times before...

Now, because of that information it makes this seem so much more realistic than NaruHina. A powerful clan would surely marry off their heiress to someone worthy in the clan. Because Neji is quiet powerful, the genius of the clan, and so forth and so on, they would probably marry Hinata off to him.

Still, this pairing will never be one of my favorites, but it works well.

I just dislike this reason for them being together...And I'm not getting mad at you its just...this reason. I hate it because neither of them is contributing to it...They are just getting married against their will...I mean its true that the family would probably do that...But, Neji is a branch family member after all. I mean, he surpasses most, or all, of the Main family...but it might still be thought of tainting the blood because he has the caged bird seal. Another thing, I think it would make a better storyline if they came to the conflict of Naruto trying to come in between the clan (He did promise it after all), and he has to come through somebody...Why not the heiress?(This is my opinion, I'm not trying to convert someone...so yeah)

I doubt the fact that he's been branded will effect the blood. He's still a PURE-BLOODED Hyuuga. If not for his father being younger, he'd be the heir.

I understand this reason, and it makes sense, it's 'logical'.

Naruto's almost over, amazingly enough. Study the current manga chapters, where Sasuke is planning on killing Orochimaru because he has learned everything. I think we're nearing the last conflict (big one) - Sasuke returning.

There will be smaller conflicts, involving romance. Lee's feelings for Sakura, Sakura's feelings for Sasuke and Naruto, Hinata's feelings for Naruto, Ino's feelings for Sai/Sasuke, Chouji's feelings for Ino, Shikamaru and Temari's feelings for each other. :3 They can't all be resolved perfectly, and I have the feeling a supporting character is gonna lose out.

And I feel that it's going to be Hinata. Chouji, I can't see Kishimoto breaking his heart by putting Ino with Sai or Sasuke (though I'd be pleased if she and Sasuke ended up XD), so I'm going to make an assumption that ChouIno is going to become canon, along with ShikaTema. (Though I'm not sure about Shika and Tema's relationship. >>)

That rules out SaiIno and SasuIno, leaving those two characters open. Chouji, Shika, and Ino are all safe, along with Temari.

Now, let's adress Lee's feelings for Sakura. I don't believe that LeeSaku is gonna happen. There have been hints pointing against it, and I think that it will continue to be a deep strong friendship, and not romantic. Lee will probably end up with Tenten, if anyone. It has been hinted at, believe it or not.

Now, LeeSaku has been taken care of. Onto Sakura. Sakura loved Sasuke, I am a true believer it was true love. She may have been young, but yes, YOUNG PEOPLE do fall in love! You don't have to have gone through puberty to feel love! I think Sakura is proof that you can love again. Because I highly doubt Sasuke's going to end up with a girl (it seems awkward, I feel he'll get his revenge and perhaps die...), that seems to rule out SasuSaku. I have a feeling all romantic feelings from Sakura to Sasuke have been ridden of, and that she no longer is in lovewith him, but loves him as a friend.

Sakura's feelings for Naruto are next to address. From different points of view, they are seen as romantic, friendship, or just plain love. It's obvious she deeply cares about Naruto, even before the time-skip you could see this. There have been obvious hints that she's falling for him, and even though people say it's stupid, I think it's true. 'It's not what you can do for Naruto, it's the strength of your feelings that matters....Sakura, I can see by looking at you, the truth is you..." No, Sakura is not blushing when Yamato says this. She is so surprised at his words, she can't think, I'm guessing. Naruto interrupts Yamato by waking up, and Sakura cries tears of joy for the boy she worried was severly injured.

Let's analyze Naruto's feelings for Sakura now. At the beginning, yes, it was a childish crush - now? It is far from immature. He truly loves her, maybe not in the way Sakura loved Sasuke, or Hinata loved/loves Naruto, but in his own way, he shows that he does love her, and as a lot more than just a friend. I don't think Naruto's about to realize he's in love with someone else.

Last, but certainly not least, Hinata's feelings for Naruto. Admiration, friendship, love, however you see it, it's all true. She admires him, sees him as a friend, and she loves him. However, will this supporting character's love prevail? Personally, after what I've looked at...No. I hate it when people make it look like Hinata is a character meant only to be a love interest for Naruto. Ruling out the fillers, they've had two hours or less of actual interraction. They did not communicate for more than two years, and when they did, Hinata did the worst possible thing to show her feelings - she faints.

I think that shows, in a rough manner, that she cannot love him enough to admit herself, at least not yet. Near the end, I believe she will. This will effect Naruto big time. It will hurt them both.

HOWEVER, no matter the cost, no matter what, Naruto has always promised to protect Sakura, and to be with her. Naruto's not the kind to give up on promises like that, and Naruto has never made a promise like that. He made a 'vow to win'. Notice that he did not make a vow to protect Hinata like she was the best thing in his life, he made a vow to win ONE battle, and he did. I really think that was all the vow was about. He fufilled that vow, I really don't think it's going to have a big effect anymore. It hasn't been mentioned since after Naruto's fight with Neji.

So, Naruto's not about to end up with Hinata out of pity. No way, Naruto's not like that.

And if Hinata is rejected, I doubt she's going to break. At first, I can imagine her thinking: Naruto-kun gave me strength. He's not going to take it away.

Hinata's stronger than to just let herself break down from a lost-love! I think people are underestimating her, by saying that without Naruto, she's nothing.

That's like saying with Sasuke, Sakura's nothing. Sakura made it through - Hinata's not as emotionally weak anymore. I'm sure she can too.

NOW! I'm done debating! >D No more! I drop the subject, muwahahah! Incest!
