[A Mistake Called Love]

"Meee-roooooom" A low buzzing type of noise emitted from the fairly large creature, and it slightly shook the house. Like once with Kurai, another large poof of soot and at the feet of Titto appeared a strange creature. Longer then average fox ears and a long vivid orange tail swagged behind it. It appeared to be a mix of fox, with its keen facial feature, orange and white color, and its fox-like tail, but only it seemed to have a sense of mystery and awe, much like a wolf. It sat there at his feet for a good second before restating its noise, only in a more high pitched tone.

"Me-rem!" I fell to its side and kicked its hind legs. Obviously it seemed like it had some canine in it as well. Kurai smile was blocked from the fridge door, but soon laughter from behind it gave the expression.

"Ah! Ushi, he's no guest, hes our new addition! Remember the plan silly?" Tomatoe paste lauched out the window next as she searched through the fridge, slowly getting closer to the food she was looking for.

"Meerem!!!"

"Well.... I told you yesterday Ushi, don't pretend you didn't hear me!!!" Ackward.... Was that neko girl just talking to herself or the--

"REM!!!" No.... it appears she was indeed talking to the small animal. And by the sounds of it Ushi wasn't to pleased.

"Whether you like it or not he's staying!! Now Ushi you behave! Besides... he's a nice guy, and he didn't cost anything ok..." Another repeat of the same tone from the creature and it seemed the argument was settled. It had seemed Kurai has won and the creature gave a small snort-of-a-sigh, and began rubbing against Tittos leg. Peeking past the door, Kurai smiled at the act of lovingness.

"Thats more like it--- and OH! There it is!" Taking large supple steps she began pulling out what appeared to be a large pot. With great ease she closed the door with her foot and brought the pot toward the counter.

"Here we are, Kurai's SUPER SUPPA SOUP--- SI-MO-CHI!!" With a melodic voice she released the pot, and it made a large thud on the counter, slightly denting the tiled counter top. "Kurai had just made this before she left, and had put it in the fridge to cool!" Lifting the pot-lid she wafted the smell into her nostrails, which immediately began to flare up. "MMM-mm! The smell of success! I LOVE IT! HAHAHAHAHA!" Acting very giddy and somewhat scary she placed her hands on her hips and bellowed in cheer.

"Me-REMM!" Ushi, refrained from rubbing Titto's leg to join Kurai in her gaudy laughter. This went on for what seemed like 5 minutes.

"Ugh-hmm!" She cleared her throat and the act stopped. Ushi lept back to his spot against Titto's leg and Kurai began setting up bowls for each of them. "So anyway, I'm sure you'll like it!" It took several minutes and everything was ready, Kurai flicked most of the house lights on and the sun was beginning to set and the day turned to noon. Kurai sat herself in a seat beside Ushi, who was barely visible in the seat beside her. The bowls were on the table, the silverware, the napkins, and even small glasses of juice. Titto just seemed to stand in that same position the whole time this thing occured, Kurai still avoided his questions.

"So slave boy- what are you waiting for an invitation!" She pointed to a chair adjacent to her and motioned for him to sit.

Rose seemed really depressed. In fact, it was definite, she was in complete despair. Kyrox had never been as bad off as a slave, so he was unsure if he could ever completely understand her emotions. Nevertheless, if he wanted to sustain his sanity, then he at least had to try...

Kyrox led her to a large double-door structure. The doors were large and quite extravagant. The pearl-white exterior perfectly matched the white roses elegantly woven around it. Kyrox gave the structure two light taps, and an instant later, the doors opened with great force. Inside, the room was ten or twenty times better than the entrance. The kitchen was almost too bright and blinding for the naked eye. Properly dressed workers and servants moved frequently throughout the entire area, some carrying plates & dishes, others quietly carrying food to and fro. Most people, however, were busy preparing what was most likely the main dish for the day.

Kyrox turned again towards Rose. Every time that he tried to meet her eyes, she turned away. He sighed. How was she to work, or even live, acting like this? He wanted to help her feel more comfortable around everyone in the home, including himself, but it seemed as though right now...nothing could be done.

"Here...take a few moments to look around. I'll be right here by you if you need me." He held fast to her hand, not wanting her to feel sorrow again. Kyrox partially loosened his grip, to symbolize her temporary freedom to explore her new home. This time however, he would not make the mistake of leaving her alone without good reason.

Xerros spat onto the ground. He lowered his head as he was scolded by his master. He shifted his gaze to the left. An elegant looking woman walked past, a poodle at the end of her leash. Xerros felt like he was the poodle in this situation. What was he getting himself into?

Xerros snarled, almost snapping away from his master and darting like a bullet, hopefully to be caught by no one; but he didn’t. He controlled himself and stayed still; listening to the next store they were headed to. It was a place called ‘Hot Topic’. Hopefully they had a better selection of clothing there than they did at this preppy place…

(Cue Primitive Techno Feeling Music)
Just as he opened the door, Titto hears a low buzzing sound that scared him as he felt the area around him vibrate a little. As he looked around in a frantic state, a cloud of smoke poofed in front of him. When it cleared and Titto opened his eyes, he saw a small, strange and cute creature in front of him. It made the noise again but this time, it wasn't as intimidating as it was the first time. Titto wasn't exactly sure what it was. It looked to be many things to him. As he listened to the conversation between his master and the creature, Titto began to think about certain things.

Ah! Ushi, he's no guest, he's our new addition! Remember the plan silly? Titto didn't show it but he was surprised at what he heard.

Plan? What plan? What's going on here. Who is this neko girl...? The conversation between the two continued as Titto continued to think this whole thing was weird.

Whether you like it or not he's staying!! Now Ushi you behave! Besides... he's a nice guy, and he didn't cost anything ok... Those words shocked and confused him.

What? But how... How could she have... Just as his thoughts passed, he felt something rubbing against his leg. It was Ushi showing signs of love and affection. Titto couldn't help but think it was cute. He petted and scratched Ushi behind the ears. At that point, it seemed like is master finally found what she was looking for. Si...mo...chi? Once she took a big sniff, she seemed to explode with energy and excitement. Then Ushi joined in. Titto didn't know what to say at first. Uhh...can you guys cut that out...? (Cue Homebound Journey Music) After a while, Kurai finally began to set the table for everyone to eat. Titto could only stand and watch. He wanted to help but he would only do so if she commanded him to. Titto is always willing to help but only if it's needed. Otherwise, he'll just stay back and watch. Finally, the table has been set. Kurai and Ushi sat down and Titto was called over to sit. As he sat, he could smell the food and couldn't help but smile in delight. It really smelled heavenly and he couldn't wait to dig right into it. But before he could, he looked up at Kurai and just gazed at her with his mystic eyes, still wondering about a lot of things that happened today.

"Well..." She watched him tenderly as he looked up at Kurai and gazed at her with his mystic eyes. "Something bothering you..."

Ushi already began to eat heartily as he stuffed his face into the bowl. Taking a breather from the savory smelling soup, Ushi seemed to gaze at Titto when she said that, with a weird look of unpleasantness, its a shame that Kurai didn't see that, she was to busy staring up at him, blushing like a little child.

"Me-rem!" Ushi gave a snort at Titto and woke Kurai from her daze.

"Oh... Ushi... what's the matter with you today..." Gently she cradled the creature in her arms, reassuring it that Ushi was still loved. In happiness Ushi snorted, and Kurai began to eat with one hand.

"Hmm..." Kurai began to think to herself silently, when Ushi let out another cry.

"Really... you think that's it..."

"Mee-REEM!" It snorted again as a yes. The simochi soup was still warm, and little waves began to rise as Kurai stirred her bowl. The vegetables seemed to dance and sway as she idlely thought again.

"Umm... is there anything on your mind.... Ushi thinks that you may be troubled by confusion and that you must be very overwhelmed by it... So---" The young master gave way to another sigh as Ushi looked up at her reassuringly.

Where to start... Where should she start, how would she try to make her new slave more comfortable... if she should even call him that... What to do?


"My name is Kurai... and just --- well.... feel---" Another pause interupted her timid voice, but Kurai would try again. "Feel free to talk to me about anything on your mind... Kurai would like to make you feel comfortable Titto..."

"Here...take a few moments to look around. I'll be right here by you if you need me." Rose looked at her master, then around the busy kitchen. Hesitant at first she slowly released his hand, then after mustering up a little courage, she completely let go and began walking through the enormous room.

Light tapping echoed from all the footsteps in the kitchen, and slightly stumbling, Rose's small frame swayed around. Smells of all kinds wafted about, triggering her appetite and arousing her stomach. One of the uniformed figures brushed by her carrying a large piece of poultry on a platter. Roasted chicken and steamed vegetables seemed to levitate by and she stared at it, stopping in mid-walk. This of course sprung a chain reaction of trouble.

Falling in the speed of light, a tray white china dishes hit the floor with a loud crash. Broken pieces of pottery made its way in the path of another poor worker, who then slide into another, and the domino effect left the small area around her huddled and destrot. Not again. The new slave blinked several times before he eyes began to water.

"I-- I didn't mean to---" Like a small infant, in occurence to all the noise and fright she began to cry.

Veronica A.K McDowell looked over at him, she had an amused smirk on her lips as he snarled at her. 'That place really wasn't that preppy, o the newbie eye, it would seem like so. But in the back they do have some rather closing that would match your being. As well as Hot Topics.."

When they went inside of the store, for the first time she's been hear quite sometimes before heard it playing a Jazz tune. The puppet, wandered off looking for clothing that suited her tastes as well. Looking back at her newly bought slave, she couldn't trust him as well as her other slaves or servents just yet.

Her servent, which was a robot, was at the registor. She looked up, she had navy blue hair, hair hair covered the side of her face. Deep forest green eyes, pale skin robot skinny parts. She was clearly wearing a black blouse, with fish net hand wamers, with 20 plastic black bracet. and tight leather pants with, leather high healed boots. "Master...how can I help you?"

"I recantly bought a new slave..He's still seems rebelish..Do you think can come with a selction of clothign for him to wear..And he can pick out of the choices, as well as collars." She ponted to her slave on the leash, probably looking around at the store as they spoke.

"Why?"

"Eh?" She raised an eyebrow, at her servant.

"I had a question installed, is it suitable."

"No..remove it why away!" Her face looked something like (>_< ) but, her servant, said 'Why?' again, which made her go crazy. "Arggh!!" The serant, knowing better not to test her Master's temper, she went right away to gather the clothing, while another employee filled her in to work at the cash registor.

"Another thing, Xerros...Before you think about something foolish..Don't..I'm not as weak as you think I am." She had amused smile on her face at him. He is definatly familarly handsome, but someone with the look of how he is with his personality, seems more not like the person suited to be a slave. She'll find out the history, when he's loosen up.

Titto continued to peer at Kurai with his eyes. He was so lost in thought, he didn't hear her ask him if something was bothering him. He kept thinking about how the outbreak at the auction happened and all the people who were sold and how Kurai made her appearance, as if coming to rescue Titto from being stuck with an awful master, a depressing home, and a miserable life. When she looked up and became locked in his eyes, this made Titto focus his thoughts and wonders more on her. He never expected any of this to happen to him the way it did. But Titto wasn't complaining about anything so there was no problem. Soon after, he saw that Kurai was blushing and this made him sever his optic connection with her and also blush while turning his eyes to the side. He just then realized he had been staring and he felt as if he was being rude to her.

Oh, please forgive me. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to stare like that... Uhh..... In an attempt to quickly get that feeling out of his mind, he picked up a spoon and started eating at a somewhat fast rate. He had hoped that Kurai didn't think of him as a rude person for staring. Well, I.... I do have a lot of questions about you.... But...I...uhhh..... Before he could say anything, she told him her name. After hearing her supporting words, Titto felt more at ease. This lifted up his spirits. (Cue Friendly Fire Music) It's nice to meet you, Kurai. I'm pretty sure we'll get along just fine. Like I said, I want to help you in any way I can. I will do my best just for you. He gave a small grin as he talked. He felt strong and encouraging saying those things.

"I---- well--- Thank you..."

Kurai's face turned red and she quickly leaped out of her seat and dashed out of the kitchen. This was way to much for her to handle. Being alone for so long, then finally finding... well buying a friend. Who would have known she made such a perfect choice. She was just gald to have found someone and that happiness was overwhelming. Small tears trailed off toward the living room and up the stairs.

Ushi seemed infuriated. He was left on the floor with a small thud when she rose up, and was now feeling completely neglected. Giving a small glare at Titto, he dashed after her, leaving Titto alone downstairs. The kitchen was still as comfortable as ever, but a feeling of affection was left lingering in that room.

"Uhhh--- " Kurai sighed as she looked up at her ceiling. The first thing she did when she got to her room was plop onto the bed and toss her covers over her. Blushing was the least bit of her problems. Of course she didn't want her new slave to see her like this, all muddled and shy.

"Mee..." Ushi sat at the door way and looked at the sight from there. Giving a sad snort, he plopped on the ground right at the door way.

"He's such a nice guy.... after being sold and held captive, and maybe even tortured.... Then I come along and --- Who know's what would have happened if I didn't... And--- I would have still been all alone..." Now the self-held converstations commenced and she began to spill out her thoughts to the walls of the room and to the furniture and all.

"Maybe... this is just a dream, that Kurai will soon wake from and see the sad reality like always... Maybe this is to good to be true... Maybe something bad will happen and I'll be all alone again..."

Kyrox stood and watched as the series of unfortunate events took place. One by one, his workers fell, like a chain of dominoes falling atop one another. When it was all over, and only Rose stood in the area around her, he calmly approached her crying figure. He stood directly in front of her, placed his hands on her shoulders, and was about to speak words of comfort, when suddenly, Zephyr entered the kitchen. His face was content, but his tone was that of annoyance.

"What in the bloody hell has happened here?!?" It was a rhetorical question, because it was obvious by both sight and sound what had occurred. The kitchen was clearly a mess, and Rose was the cause. Zephyr threw her a sharp look. Kyrox caught it and responded with haste.

"Zephyr, you know damn well that it was an accident. You know that she's nervous and uncomfortable around us right now, and you're partially to blame for that too...You can't penalize her, not right now anyway..."

Zephyr turned his head to and fro, and looked solemnly at Rose again. "This had better not become a frequent habit.....Your first job will be to help clean this mess up!" Kyrox had no room to speak here; although Rose was his servant, this was not his home, and she was responsible for its well being. He spoke quietly to her:

"Go ahead. I'll be right here when you're done...And don't let him scare you...he's like that with everyone...


Meanwhile...Zephyr had left the kitchen, and turned the corner, to find Atticus roaming the halls, just as he left him. He led him to the outfields, where there were quite a few workers toiling at the laborous tasks. He then directed him to a position that looked similar to mining...

"There is your first job...make sure that you don't make the same mistake as the other one...Someone will be there to check on your progress later..."

With that, he left.

Titto felt proud of himself but that feeling only lasted until Kurai up and bolted out of the kitchen with her face strawberry red and tears flying from her face. He felt that he had done something wrong but he didn't know what. At first he sat there after Ushi gave him a small cold glare. He was trying to figure out what just happened. After a couple minutes, he finally got up from the table and walked upstairs. He saw Ushi laying outside the room and as he got closer to the door, he could hear Kurai's voice.

(Cue Protecting My Devotion [Piano Mix] Music)
Maybe... this is just a dream, that Kurai will soon wake from and see the sad reality like always... Maybe this is to good to be true... Maybe something bad will happen and I'll be all alone again... At that moment, Titto walked in. Ushi ran in through his legs and jumped on the bed next to Kurai.

I don't think you're dreaming at all. If anything, I should be the one thinking that. After all, it was you who came and got me. I'm just grateful you came when you did. Which is why I vow to serve you until death claims our lives. If you are afraid of being alone then you've got nothing go fear anymore cause I'm here now. He walks further inside the room and sits on the end of the bed. I hope I didn't upset or offend you in any way. I...am sorry if I did and I hope you can forgive me. He looks over to where her body is wrapped in the covers, hoping she'll come out and say something. All the while, Ushi is staring at Titto but doesn't look at angry as before.

Me-rem... Ushi gave a soft cry as he laid on top of Kurai's shell of covers.

"You.. you didn't do anything wrong... its alright." The large bundle in the covers shifted slightly. It sniffled as an elbow jetted from the side of it, then retracted back to its place. "I just--- everytime something good comes my way--- its always taken from me... I don't want to have that feeling of emptiness linger inside me anymore..."

The figure began to sway to and fro in under the blankets. "From the start I had lost my parents... or should I say they left Kurai... When she was young no one was there for her. Then when she finally found a home under the footsteps of Master Benji, he was slain. Now here I have found another ray of sunshine, and will the darkness engulf that too..." Collasping to its side, Kurai's hidden figure began to sob again. Her head found refuge on Titto's lap, though this was unknown to her.

"Can I really be assured happiness with no guarantee for the future..." Slowly but surely Titto's clothes were becoming wet with tears.

"Mmeee..." Ushi let out a soft cry and nuzzled at her covered face, forcing some of the blanket to absorb her tears. Its then when the creature began its tyrant.

"Me-Me-Me-Rem-Re-Me..." Pause... "EEEeem! Rememe!" Now faster... "Me Me REM ME-ME!" What the ********...? Anyone one else who have been strictly baffled at the noise emitting from this thing. Kurai was not just anyone. Another sniffle was heard and the figure trembled slightly.

"Oh Ushi... your absolutely right! I'll be strong if not for me... then for Ushi and Titto! Kurai will not feel sorry for herself!" Ushi snorted and bit down on the sheets, uncovering her face.

"For master Benji, Ushi, Kurai, and Titto!" Yelling at the top of her lungs she thrusted a fist into the air and grinned, though tears still moistened her cheeks. Ushi's small pink tongue curled on her soaked face slightly. Laugther appeared to burst out between the two, though nothing could be made clear from the noises Ushi made.

Once timid eyes now opened up and glinted with courage. Kurai looked upwards and saw the face of her new slave.... no... of her new companion and friend... and she smiled. That was until she realized where exactly her head was. Blushing she let out a small yelp and covered her face again.

No one could help but feel somewhat happy around her. How strange this young neko Kurai was... how very very strange, but this was only the beginning, and Titto had much more to learn about her, and she much to learn from him...

Rose sniffled once before Zephyr had stated his command. Rose was not trying to test Kyrox's surperior so she simply wiped her tears and bowed. The locks of silver slowly unraveled down to the floor, almost touching remains of china and food.

"I'm terrible sorry master... I will clean as ordered right away..."

With that she got to her knees and was handed a cloth by a passing maid who heard the orders as well. The cleaning began and it showed potential for future tasks revolving around her old line of work in the Hallow...

Curving over slightly, her small figure began to rake up the large remnants of dishes and rations that were strewn on the marble flooring. Her back arched tenderly in this position, giving her delicate stature a curved form. The way Rose's pale body swayed back and forth, the endearing resonance of sounds she made as she fueled herself to clean, and the enthralling appearence of her skin could allure the glance of anyone around. Just looking at the cream-colored coating, one could imagine the subtle way her skin would feel against their own, soft and appealing. Though it was much of a distraction she gave off, Rose herself was able to complete her own task.

She shifted over horizontally from time to time, being sure to get every piece of shattered glass and china from the floor and into the bucket that was provided. Her chest followed these movements slightly as she began to work backwards, making sure all of the mess was up.

A warm feeling emitted from behind her as the slave realized she had backed up to far and her bare skin was tounching her master's pants. It was an ackward feeling as her thin legs were seperated by his own and a small space in between that. Since this was not unusual for her she continued to clean, rocking back and forth in front of him.

Titto sat there and listened to Kurai's monologue. He couldn't help but feel for her. She wasn't the only one who knew what it felt like to be all alone. He began to look sad after a few moments.

The family I once belonged to before... They treated me as if I wasn't a slave but one of their own flesh and blood. I felt that we would live peacefully with no worries or fears. But then one day, we were attacked and the ones who attacked us burned our home down. I was the only one to make it out alive... From then on, I have been on my own but later, I was captured in order to be sold as a slave. They figured I would go for a lot of money so they kept me with the others until the day came when we were to be sold... The future holds many surprises and there's never any sign of how it will unfold on us. But you also have to remember that the future isn't written out in stone. There is always time to change things for the better. Even if things look their worst and it looks like that there's nothing that can be done, you can't stop trying to change it for the better. Never give up...trust your instincts... and nothing can bring you down. I want to help make you happy. You've given me another chance. This time, it's my turn to help you. The life you saved will not be wasted. I'm gonna do everything in my power to protect you and I will always be by your side, this I promise. After giving his speech, Ushi let out a soft cry and nuzzled at Kurai's covered face. Titto smiled as he watched the small creature trying to comfort his owner. That's when Ushi went crazy and let out a fury of cries. At first, Titto was confused but then he began to sense Ushi's feelings as he cried out to Kurai. It seemed like she got the message and understood what to do now.

(Cue The Sky's The Limit Music) Oh Ushi... you're absolutely right! I'll be strong if not for me... then for Ushi and Titto! Kurai will not feel sorry for herself! For master Benji, Ushi, Kurai, and Titto! A fist shot up into the air as Kurai now understood everyone's feelings. This made Titto happy inside. Ushi began licking her face. Seems like he felt better too. They all laughed as the moment of sorrow and despair passed. Titto looked down and smiled at Kurai as she looked up and smiled at him. A few moments later, the mood of the setting slightly shifted when she began to blush again and covered her face after letting out a small yelp. Titto just laughed as his hand rested on her head. Though the two seemed to be happy for now, many things still lay ahead in the future. Titto was looking forward to spending his life with his new master.....and friend.

Kyrox watched carefully as Rose helped dispose of the mess she had made. He could see the eminent perversion taking place...but his Vampiric nature prevented him from getting too excited. After all, he was a vampire, and it would take more than that to arouse his interest...

It did not even bother him when her skin touched his pants, even when she continued to rock back and forth against him in a seemingly-sexual manner. He may not have been a full vampire, or even not a half one for long...but he was completely under control over his emotions and actions.

"She's done. We're finished here. See you all at dinnertime." The servants bowed and continued their duties normally. Although it was obvious that dinner would be delayed.

Kyrox led Rose yet again out of the room, and out of the stress. This time, he took a slower pace, wanting to talk to her a little bit before rushing into any other situation. His goal to make her more comfortable was still in his eyesight, and still within reach.

"Rose...why not tell me what may make you feel better around me and this household. I want only to help and understand..."
