Minerva was disappointed that her time with Lucifer had been interrupted yet again. As she looked over her shoulder to see who was shooting she scowled. "It's that girl that's with Love Machine," she hissed, running alongside her blind partner. Then the woman felt a burning pain on her upper arm. She looked over to see blood seeping through her sleeve. A bullet must have grazed her as it passed. "Damn it... We have to get back quick!"

Casper blinked a few times, getting rid of the dizziness that was a result of jumping. She nodded and looked Ray and Newt over -- seeing that Newt must have gotten messed up by the fall. "Ah. Look who it is. Newt, his new friend and some other girl." Casper looked up to see Usavich pointing his gun around. "You did a very bad thing, kid. But I'm not surprised Love Machine didn't kill you! That doesn't matter however because I'm going to rid of you myself." Casper an up to the armed man and kicked him in the gut. The man's arm flew up and he shot into the air wildly. Casper grabbed his hand and forced it to the side of his head. In a fit of animosity the man accidentally pulled the trigger once more and blew his own brains out. Casper looked over at Ray and Newt, her eyes wide. She hadn't really done something like that before now and it made her feel quite bad though Usavich was a rival.

Love Machine bust through the doors of the cathedral, a grand smile on his face. He looked around at all the people and waved. "You know the deal. I'm here for the women." Vesper growled, quickly turning into a great white wolf. Once in this form she lunged at Love Machine, only to be shot and killed. Min let out a howl seeing that the Alpha was dead. The little werewolf Iro jumped out from behind a pew and ran towards the dead wolf. "Please do not make this difficult. You all have already cause me great trouble before."

Once the two reached the front of the cathedral, Lucifer stopped in his tracks. He could practically smell Love Machine from ten feet away. Lucifer released Minerva's hand and placed his hand on her shoulder. "When I shoot at him, I want you to run inside." He felt her blood flowing from her shoulder, the beautiful scent lingering towards his nose.

"Nice one." Ray said to Casper. Newt held back cringing from the pain in his leg. He assumed that he had broken it from the fall. "There's some empty houses a mile or two from here. We should be safe there until this blows over." he explained. Newt tried to run, but his broken leg prevented him from getting away as quickly as he wanted to.

"SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND~"

Melanie appeared at the top of the staircase holding Mako's pistol. She must of snatched it from her before Love Machine arrived. The little girl charged down the staircase, shooting crazily at Love Machine. Jack ducked down onto the floor and watched as his Alpha got slaughtered right before his eyes. Filled with rage, he transformed into his husky-like form and charged towards Love Machine. I lost Naomi and Vesper, but I'm not going to lose Iro... Jack leaped into the air and chomped down on Love Machine's hand.

Love Machine did his best to dodge the spray of bullets shot at him. However once Jack was biting his hand it was difficult. As Love Machine fought to shake the werewolf off, Melvin and Andy appeared behind the group."Shoot this mutt off of me!" he ordered. Before the two could raise their weapon Min and Iro turned -- a large brown wolf with dark eyes and a small white ones with eyes of turquoise. They ran and jumped at the two, biting at them. Andy managed to shoot Min in the side. The larger wolf whimpered and backed away as Iro continued her assault. Andy pointed his gun at Iro, but she wasn't going to die today. She jumped from Melvin to Andy, ripping at the flesh on his shooting arm. Then the little wolf was kicked away, falling atop of the once-again human Min. Bloodied, the KBB members straightened up and glared the the group.


Love Machine let out a grunt and shook Jack off of his arm, letting the werewolf fall to the ground. "I've never liked dogs..." The man looked around the room and his eyes set on Xia. "Hello again! We just keep meeting each other!" Stephana hissed and stepped in front of the girl. "You're not her mother and you should have stayed dead..." the man mumbled, noticing the woman's scent. He shot at Stephana, a bullet going straight into the woman's leg. She fell with a scream and Demetrius ran towards Love Machine. Love Machine simply returned his advances and punched him dead in the face. "Come on! I know you all can do better than this? Where is Lucifer and his little b***h?"

Minerva heard the shots coming from inside and panicked. Without thinking she ran into the church and saw the man she absolutely hated. Then she saw Vesper -- dead; Stephana shot, and Demetrius bleeding from the nose. Love Machine turned to look at the woman and smiled, opening his arms. "Why isn't it my favorite enemy! Such a lovely vampire you've become, though I would have preferred you to stay a pathetic human..." Minerva ran towards him, filled with rage. The tall man grabbed Minerva and held her firmly in front of him like a shield. "You're never nice to me! Why?" he asked sarcastically. "Sister Minerva!" Nevermore shouted, only to receive a bullet to the heart. Sharky couldn't take hearing all the things going on around her. Then she felt the blood of Nevermore -- the boy who once cared for her so much -- splash against her skin. It was too much for a pregnant woman to take. Skarky held her stomach and let out a pained groaned, making Love Machine laugh. "Careful! We wouldn't want you to end up going into labor now!"


Casper took a look at Newt's leg. She knew something was wrong with it.First Casper went over to Usavich's corpse and took his gun -- searching his pockets for any ammunition. Then she stood next to Newt. "Here..." She wrapped an arm around his waist to help him balance himself on one leg. "Keep pressure off your leg and try not to move it too much." The drill-haired girl looked over at Ray and nodded. " Once we settle down we're going to see if we can do anything about his leg."

"MINNIE!" Elise shrieked from the top of the staircase. Like a rabid animal, Melanie charged towards Andy, shoved the barrel of her gun against his forehead and shot his brains out before he had a chance to blink. Xia rushed towards her mother's side and panicked. Her mind was absolutely blank. She had absolutely no clue where to go or what to do. When Mako got a glance of Stephana's current state, she sprinted to her side. "Demetrius! Get yourself and Xia out of here! I got Mom."

"MIN! IRO!" Jack transformed into his human form and fell onto his knees next to them. "Come on, we need to book it!" Melanie grabbed Jack by his shirt collar, but he yanked himself away. "I'M NOT LEAVIN'!" Melanie growled as she hauled Iro over her shoulder. "You get the big guy. Meet me behind this place." she said as she sprinted off. Jack looked down at Min and sighed. Min, you owe me big time. Naomi, I hope you're watchin' me, because I really need an angel's blessin' right about now. he prayed to himself as he snatched Min by his arms and hauled him off. JESUS CHRIST, HE'S HEAVIER THAN I THOUGHT! Elise watched as Melanie and Jack rushed off with the bodies. Curious, she hurried downstairs and followed them to the back of the church.

Just about right... Lucifer thought to himself as he adjusted his aim. He wanted to make sure that the bullet hit the center of his head so he would stay dead. Since Love Machine talked so much, Lucifer had an easier time sensing his position. Gently, he placed his finger on the trigger. Right before he pulled it, Brenda pounced on top of him and knocked the gun out of his reach. "YOU'RE NOT GOING TO F*CKING TOUCH MACHINE, BLINDIE!" she screamed as she pushed the barrel of her gun against his chest.

BANG!

Brenda screamed in pain as she rolled off Lucifer. "The only person who can call him 'Blindie' is me." Cry had shot her in the leg. He grabbed Lucifer's hand and helped him off the ground. "Good job, kiddo." Kiddo. That was a new one. "What's going on inside?" Lucifer asked, desperate to know how the battle was going. "We got two dead. Other people are pretty wounded. Some people escaped, though." Cry explained. Lucifer wasn't going to yell at cry for not guarding the front of the cathedral just yet. First, he wanted to get Minerva and Elise out safely. Then, he'd scream at Cry for being an irresponsible idiot.

"Daddy, I'm scared!" Marzia cried out, clinging to Alois' arm. Ducking behind a pew was Alois, Marzia, Justine, Nick, Roxy and Axel. Alois could tell that all of them were terrified out of their minds, especially his little Marzia. "Listen up!" he yelled at the five. All five heads turned towards the vampire with the eyepatch. "Roxy, Axel, I want you two to shoot at the last guy, and if you can, Love Machine." Alois gave Roxy his gun. The spiky haired tsundere hopped over to pew and began to shoot at Melvin, while Axel got down on his knees and began to shoot at Love Machine, though he was also providing cover for Roxy to shoot.

Ray could hear the screams and gunshots that came from the cathedral from the outside. A pang of regret flew through her body as she walked beside Caspertine. "We shouldn't of left them..." she whispered, though it seemed Newt didn't hear her. Ray could see that he was in visible pain. "By the way..." His light yellow eyes shifted over towards green haired girl. "Cute outfit." Ray looked down at her outfit to realize that she was still wearing the nun's garments. "Very funny." Newt's eyes shifted towards the drilled haired one. "I'd love to see you in that outfit..."

Demetrius quickly got himself off the ground, holding his bleeding nose. He went to pick up Xia but someone else had gotten to her first... Love Machine. "No!" Demetrius shouted as Love Machine threw Xia over his shoulder. "She's mine now!" the villain said with a sick smirk. He started to laughed before hearing Brenda scream. Turning around, he saw that Brenda had been shot dead in the leg. His eyes narrowed as Cry and Lucifer. His hatred for Lucifer grew even more. He aimed his gun at the blind vampire and cocked the pistol.

"Hya!" Fel kicked the gun out of the man's hand. He raised an eyebrow and looked her over. "Who the ******** are you?" Fel smirked and reached for his gun, only to get kicked down. "I hate nuns..." Love Machine was now trying to dodge the bullets Axel was shooting. He looked around. Melvin was dead along with Andy, Usavich was most likely dead and Brenda was hurt. He wouldn't be able to stand against the group any longer. He growled before grabbing Minerva and throwing him over his other shoulder. The nun and Xia would have to do for now. He ran to the church doors, looking over his shoulder at Brenda. "I... Get yourself back to base when you can..."The man ran, leaving Brenda behind.

"Minerva!" Fel screamed.

"Xia!" Demetrius bellowed.

Love Machine was getting away with both females, and he loved it.


Casper shook her head, smirking over at Newt. "Too bad. You'll never catch me in that." In his company, the girl had almost forgotten about the chaos they just escaped from. "That reminds me. I should look through some clothes once we get to those houses. Lolita dresses are not the best to run around in. You don't know how many times I almost ripped the lace on this damned dress..."
