The world was almost destroyed by a cataclysmic war, and all life was extinguished, or at least, those who were allowed to stay. An alien race came, and took all remaning humans and animals off the planet. Why? It was because these aliens are gene traders. Their plan is to mix their own race in with the humans, creating a superior race, as they have done countless times before. They do not use technoligy as we know it, either. They use animals for all their needs. These animals are not eaten, as all of them are Oalanki, the alien race. Every sentient creature they use, was at one point an oalanki, but was intermixed with another rafce to turn them into what they are.
The humans have a choice. Mix with the aliens, and survive, but at the cost of their own humanity. Or, they can deny the aliens, and take one more chance at life, one that is ultimatley doomed to failure. What do we choose?
