Lucas watched the wolf hybrid with fascination, his brown eyes wide with wonder. "Damien, le loup est... gentil!*" he cried in surprise, remembering the stories of big bad wolves, but so far, this one hadn't tried to eat anyone yet. Damien laughed from the kitchen. "Oui, il est gentil. Tu peux lui dire bonjour aussi, tu sais?**" he said.

At this, Lucas jumped from his chair and walked over to Yuu, sticking out a pudgy hand to shake. "Bonjour, Messieu Loup.***" he said, determined to be polite.

Damien walked in, laughing, as the smell of bacon started to spread through the house. "Lucas says hello to Mr. Wolf." he said, chuckling. "Lucas, faut essayer ton Anglais.****"

And then he went back to the kitchen, humming cheerily.

*Damien, the wolf is... nice!
**Yes, he is nice. You can tell him hello too, you know?
***Hello, Mr. wolf.
****Lucas, you'll have to try your English.

Yuu blinked, not understanding the words of the cousin of his owner. His ears flicked in Damien's direction as the other spoke in the familiar English. He looked at the hand as though he didn't know what was expected.

He truly didn't know about handshakes, and instead bent to sniff the hand in a doglike manner.

Damien laughed and Lucas looked confused, but then decided that since Yuu was acting like a puppy, it was all right to pet him, and he did.

Damien then came out with an enormous plate of bacon and pancakes. How he had managed so much so fast was anyone's guess, but there was certainly enough for any wolf. He placed plates and offered Yuu a fork and a pile of bacon.

Yuu grinned wolfishly as he was petted, tongue lolling out slightly. His tail wagged slightly in happiness, but he resisted the urge to let out purring-like sounds since he was not a feline! His attention was quickly called away from the petting once food was brought out. He lifted the fork with only slight difficulty, having learned to use forks before coming to the shop, he can’t remember where he learned it, but he had.

His instincts wanted to just forget the cutlery and just dig in, but something kept him from giving in to the instincts. He vaguely heard an elderly woman’s voice speaking to him in Japanese. Telling him to use the fork, and remembered pain from having his hands whacked by a rolled up newspaper when he failed to use cutlery.

His face became sad for a moment at the memory that barely reached the surface of his thoughts before it slipped away and his face became relaxed once more. He continued eating with obvious relish, until his stomach stopped complaining about being empty.

Damien eyed the wolf's speed at eating and gallantly gave him one of his own slices of bacon. "So, Lucas. How was school this year?" he asked, and the boy didn't answer, too busy eating, with only a very slight bit more dignity than the wolf hybrid. Damien rolled his eyes and ate, since he had nothing else to do.

Yuu tilted his head when another piece of bacon, from Damien’s plate no less, was set on his emptied plate. He looked at his owner and gave him one of his soft smiles (the only kind he really was capable of) and murmured ”Ar-gatou.. Thanks” using the English word only after remembering his owner wasn’t fluent in Japanese.

Then he ate the bacon his owner had given him, with noticeably more refinement now that he was no longer starving.

Damien chuckled softly, muttered that it was no problem, and ate at his own, rather slower pace, passing part of his bacon to the wolf whenever his plate emptied because he wasn't particularly hungry and it was worth it to see him happy.

He finished soon enough, and by then Lucas was clamoring for a movie. He nodded. "Venez, vous deux... uh, Yuu, come on, Lucas wants us to watch a movie."

Rai was getting tired of his shackles.

Sometimes, he enjoyed them. They were kind of convenient at times, he had an excuse to be lazy and make others who normally ordered him around get him what he needed. But right now he was sick of them, sick of being restricted. He was following the others out to the front room of the store, though slowly because his feet were also restrained. He wasn't one to run away, but because he wore a black collar they had put them on him anyways. His ears were perked in alert, the male's tail swaying slowly as it usually did.

He wasn't considered the most "beautiful", but he was often considered the cutest, however his angry demeanor towards potential buyers often caused them to look at other options. Previously he had masters that enjoyed his defiance. They enjoyed dominating and humiliating him at parties and gatherings, using him as a toy. He was sick of it, but he didn't want to be used again. It would take a while for any master to earn this pet's trust, especially if they were anything like his old masters. He took his place on a cat bed--it was his spot, he had claimed it long ago. It was only slightly bigger than those beds used for feral dogs, but since Rai had a small build anyways, he could fit in it as long as he curled up.

However, the owners of the shop didn't seem to like it when the pets slept when on display, so he made sure to open his eyes every now and then to make sure no one was headed this way--Little did he know that the shop owner was usually taken aback by the supposedly dangerous hybrid's appearance when he was asleep, and usually just let him sleep anyways.

(Hello, I'm new to the rp so I'm kind of just going to post with him in his room. I hope that's alright.)

~:Who am I? Why am I here?:~

Thin arms wrapped around long legs and a slender face rested upon knees wet with tears. He seemed to do that a lot now a days; crying. The still pink scars showed themselves with sick pride on his arms, he hated them. Riku was once a happy, cheerful boy that was always eager to meet new people and do new things, till something happened that damaged him. He was abused. His very first owner was cruel and a drunk, though it didn't seem that way at first. After he was taken away from the cruel man he changed; the happy light in his eyes died away, he stopped smiling and he wouldn't interact with anyone, he would just mope in his room. He couldn't speak and therefore couldn't tell anyone how he was feeling, though it was plainly obvious. So, there he was, sitting in his room, just crying after waking up from another nightmare. Riku brushed the tears from his eyes and wrapped his blanket around him, his thin, slender body disappearing in the bulky fabric. Who am I? he thought, the question bouncing around in his empty mind. He knew his name, but exactly who he was escaped him. Pale grey eyes focused on the floor as he lost himself to that one thought once again.
