    SPACEXXSPACE_Drauth "Aelaera" Shelaren_______

    {{Drauth enters from Snow Petal Theatre. }}

SPACEThe forest had rung throughout with the symphony of battle up to this point, but now a new note began to play, warning of danger as a new man stepped onto the scene. Drauth had always quite enjoyed the times he had spent in the forest. No matter what happened in this place, it only ever was filled with beautiful music without end. "Better than the lassst place we were at." muttered Ssthzon in his head, quite pleased with the change in temperature from the harsh and frozen lands of the Snow Petal Theatre to the temperate sun-kissed warmth of the Singing Forest. For a moment only, Daruth closed his eyes and held his breath to listen to the song the forest was playing for him this time, for as all of the songs of the forest this one was fleeting and would not likely be heard again, even during his impressive lifespan. And as the notes filled his mind and soul, a look of bliss crossed his face.

SPACEBut there was business to attend to, and the look slowly faded as he began walking towards his destination. And as he approached it, a new melody reached his ears: the sound of battle. Perhaps the man had already started the "fun" without him. As Drauth approached the collection of people, he could make out the two fighters at each others throats (quite literally). The one was clearly a Ralifin, but the other appeared to be an unaltered Credum. A rarity to be sure in the Chronoverse, however neither fought with familiars and therefore were not the man he was looking for. The hulking form of a Roc and a Tiger, on the other hand, was definitely a good sign. As he got closer, he noticed that the man he thought was an unaltered Credum was actually also simply another Ralifin, just with mostly Credum features. He also made out a man sitting on the forest floor near the familiars and a Ralifin woman kneeling next to him. Evidently the two had been drinking together, for what he saw. Although he only saw the four of them, he could sense blood from another presence nearby. He glanced over, looking into the leaves for a sign of the other. After a moment he finally focused on what appeared to be the ghost of an unaltered Credum poised with a crossbow. Of course ghosts didn't have blood, meaning the man was likely using a camouflaging ability. And judging by the rest of the people gathered here, Drauth suspected he was another Ralifin despite his appearance. Quite rare for there to be five Ralifin in a single place, considering how prejudiced the Chronoverse was against their race.

SPACE"Belsith, I presume." Drauth asked, walking up to the Sorji sitting on the ground. In a group of five Ralifin and one Sorji, it was a fairly safe bet that the Sorji was the one with two familiars. He ignored the two fighters and the concealed man for the moment. If they became a problem, he could deal with them. At the moment though, he business to attend to. He gave a low, graceful bow to Belsith before standing up straight once more to introduce himself. Unlike the other Ralifin around who boasted mostly Credum features with slight Prex influence, Drauth appeared to the common bystander to be entirely Prex. Of couse, that was until they caught a glimpse of his other two hidden arms. "I am known as Aelaera. I believe you have something for me?" It was time to see what, exactly, it was that his master had sent him out here to retrieve. His blood red eyes seemed to stare through into the man's soul as he watched him.

“And therefore, since I cannot prove a lover
To entertain these fair well-spoken days

What a nice fight to watch. As the two men and one weapon beat at each other like civilized barbarians Bel had a show to drink what little remained of the sake. It truly was a good day, if only that customer had appeared for him. Taking a few looks around at the scene that unfolded before him, he noticed a very peculiar thing before him. A young woman was sitting beside him drinking his sake. "Eh? You aren't my customer. Do ya like fighting though? I tend to enjoy it. The name's Belsith. Most people call me Bel."

Casually discussing to a stranger he was apprehensive of what was unfolding. The fight was advancing and at some point someone was going to take that neurodrive. Bel wanted to see what it did and how it would effect things in the future but that didn't matter for right now, what did matter was the man approaching him. This was the customer that Bel had been waiting on, a man of a very powerful stature. "Oh! Aelaera! I believe that was the name. Something feminine and meaningful. Yup yup that's what master told me. Well, here is what I got for ya. It's some neurodrive. Take it or don't its a great treat." Handing over 15 vials of neurodrive it was obvious that Drauth was meant as a distributor. Bel was still in the sitting position as he scanned the fight even more, clapping at the clash of blades.
I am determinèd to prove a villain
And hate the idle pleasures of these days."

Weapons: Solstice & Equinox.
Where Am I?: The Singing Forest.
Mood: Curious.
Who Am I With?: Damion. Belsith, Mel, Blake, Drauth.

Shay was rather discontent upon the fact that there hadn't been any sake left to taste, as it'd been some time since she last drank. But that wasn't the reason why she had thrown herself about to scale the canopies of the trees above. Her jet black ears fluttered somewhat as the Sorji had finally spoken up. She turned her gold gaze toward him and offered him a soft smile to the strange way he'd responded. Not worried at all, not chasing her away from his drink, nor the two fighting up ahead. The first piece of not being a customer grabbed her attention, seeing as her suspicion of the male being some sort of traveling merchant or something of the like had been proven correct. He had gone on to introduce himself as Belsith, though most had stuck with the shorter version of Bel. She giggled that soft, melodic tone once again before responding.

"A pleasure to meet you, Bel. I'm Sheathlyn, or Shay for short. And I do enjoy fighting. Almost as much as I enjoy dancing. Well.. Perhaps they're equal."

The she-wolf nodded lightly before switching her attention over to an approaching male and instinctively running fingertips in a slow pattern against the hilt of her blade. That defensive tense of her body had reverted to the slight movement she always seemed to keep. Fingers dancing across the blade lightly or over the coins and trinkets placed across her form. Her shoulders would sway softly, as did her hips on occasion. There was always something about the wolf that continued to move in some graceful manner. The bow of the Prex-appearing male had brought the female to relax once more and let her hands drop away from her blades to fixate on something else. Shay offered him a smile that radiated an inviting warmth, although she hadn't expected him to return it in anyway. He was focused on the merchant to her left.

As the two underwent their business transaction, Sheathlyn studied the male's pristine white fur and his form from what she could see. She hummed softly in acknowledgment before she looked off toward the two fighting again. Whatever the merchant Belsith had traded over, and in quite the abundance, had caught her attention again, but she wasn't about to stick her nose into something shady. At least not yet.

"Aelaera is a beautiful name," Shay cooed out, nodding her head for emphasis. Her molten, bronze speckled, golden hues glanced up and over to Drauth's blood red pools with curiosity.

You're honestly going to sit here and play tea party with these two? Not only that, but flatter the Prex in front of you as well? Pathetic.

Your lip isn't needed, Solstice.

~*~*~ The notes clashed at the formation of the fourth verse, edging edging closer to the inevitable end of the combat. Both combatants willed the end of this strife with victory in their name. Blake heard the resonance of his opponent blocking the strike that was intended for his gut. He felt his chain tighten around the other hand of the opponent as there was a faint whooshing noise approaching from the area he had just leaped from.He realized that it was the blade was going to try and stab him from behind as she had a mind of her own.

~*~*~ “Dammit I almost forgot to deal with her!”He cursed himself mentally for slipping up on such a basic tactic when fighting against weapons that hold the power to return to their master, keep both weapon and opponent in your line of sight. He did know that while a blade willing itself into someone was fast, the Prex he had been fighting so far was faster. As katana homed in on him, the chain lengthened slightly as Blake hopped upward slightly in the air, allowing Haru to pass under him. His grip on the chain tightened as he flipped backwards and placed his foot on Haru’s handle and attempted to give an added push for her to greet her master as her cuts would be deeper. However, He made sure not to aim for vitals when he kicked her, for he was only attempting to prove a point rather than kill someone today. Blake’s back from his shoulder to just below the ribcage burned as a long cut ran through them, it wasn’t serious enough to merit immediate attention due to the hardness of his skin.

~*~*~ When Blake landed before Melchsee once more his spear vanished back into it’s interdimensional pocket. “I’m done with the games for today.” He spoke in a casual manner. “Though I will admit it was fun to play, maybe another day we can spar again.” He said before putting his hands in the pockets of his jeans and walking over to where the female Ralifin sat next to the dealer. “Oh, and I don’t think either of us will be taking your strange substance just because we wanted to fight?” He said to the Sorji right before a strange man with eyes the color of blood entered crossed the clearing. This third new person to the battlefield began speaking with the Sorji, most likely the customer as he made a point of seeking out the one with familiars around him while paying little interest in the others.

~*~*~ “Well, this ought to be worth watching...” Blake mused to himself quietly observing the shady exchange take place. His eyes scanned the rest of the area and took note of the new arrivals, the female wolf-like Ralifin and the current customer candidate were the two that drew the most of his attention. The other one, Blake unaware of his appearance, seemed to prefer the shadows and observe.

    SPACEXXSPACE_Drauth "Aelaera" Shelaren_______

SPACELuckily Belsith handed over what Aelaera had been sent to obtain without too much effort, and Aelaera quickly tied the bag to his belt. It was quite obvious to him that Belsith was not nearly as interested in the transaction as he was, instead electing to watch the nearby fight. Drauth, however, was quite interested in the product he had been given. He withdrew a syringe from the bag and held it up to the light streaming through the forest's leaves in order to better examine its contents. "Neurodrive..." he muttered silently to himself. So this was what his master had sent him here to collect? Some sort of drug? He was familiar with the other drugs of the Chronoverse, but this drug was likely on a whole other level if the mad god himself had deemed it worthy of being "fun".

SPACEThe comment from the woman next to Belsith broke his reverie at that moment and he returned the drug to its satchel once more before turning to the woman. Her garb was rather trite and tacky, and although she would certainly be classified as attractive to most she was not what he would consider a beauty. He had noticed her touching her weapon when he appearing, making her a rather cautious person. Though who wasn't, in this day and age. But her eyes distracted Drauth's attention, and an oddly pleasant smile crept across his face as he admired their beauty. Such remarkable eyes. "You flatter me." he said with a deep, graceful bow to the woman. "I chose it largely due to its melodic qualities, but it is all the more beautiful for having passed through your lips. Unfortunately I seemed to have missed your name?" At that moment his eyes flicked to her dark crimson sword as he sensed a presence from it. Another living weapon like his, perhaps? They were more common than one might expect.

SPACERather than returning his attention to the woman before him though, it was instead drawn by the man who approached them after having ended the duel that had been in progress when Drauth arrived. The man spoke of taking the drug because of the fight, leading him to believe that Neuodrive had some sort of combat capability. Drauth could see that both he and the woman before him were interested in its contents, and since they had failed to use it in battle he elected to speak of it instead. "The so called 'strange substance' goes by the name of Neurodrive." he began, returning his attention to the woman's tantalizing eyes. "It is a new combat enhancer currently in development, purported to be somewhat of a miracle substance. However as with anything new, it is required to test it in order to ascertain the extent of its abilities. That is why we have elected to distribute it to talented fighters-" Here his gaze flickered back to the Ralifin man for a moment. "-that might be willing to aid us in this potentially hugely beneficial endeavor." "Ssso that'sss what thisss ssstuff isss, huh?" mused Ssthzon internally. "I have not the faintest idea." replied Drauth, much to Ssthzon's surprise. So practiced was Drauth in the art of deception that it was difficult for even his long-time companion to detect even such a bold faced lie.

xxxxxDo not follow me now,
I've a strong and stubborn mind.

Weapons: Solstice & Equinox.
Where Am I?: The Singing Forest.
Mood: Flattered, curious, informed.
Who Am I With?: Damion. Belsith, Mel, Blake, Drauth Aelaera.

The subtle gleam of the liquid within the vial that the Prex-seeming being before her had held up to the sunlight caught her attention away from the male just beside her with the empty sake cup. Her ears pricked upward at the sound of the man's voice. Neurodrive. So that's what the two duelists out several feet away from them had been given earlier. And to think Belsith had just handed fifteen of them over with no real transaction. No payment, nothing. The femme pushed her lower lip under sharp teeth to worry and n** against before she realized a set of eyes had been directed to her. She caught the quick glance over her form before those dark pools had settled upon her own. The pleasant smile that pressed his lips upward made her mirror a soft, warm smile of her own and yet another melodic giggle to pour forth from her lips. Everything about the woman seemed musical. The way she gracefully moved as though not to be out of tune with whatever music may have played in her head, the tone of her voice and the way she spoke, etcetera.

His statement a moment later than the graceful bow of having chosen the name for its melodic qualities struck her as odd, considering choosing a name for oneself wasn't common. At least to her knowledge. Nevertheless, it still had been a beautiful name. His words just after that though had pressed another warm smile upon her full lips. "Thank you," she hummed out softly with a slow sway of her tail to the relaxing, calming song the forest had taken once again. "I am Sheathlyn, though most cut that short and stick with Shay. Either way, it's a pleasure to have your company, Aelaera."

Not ten seconds later had one of the men who'd just fought approached the trio beneath the tree's canopy providing shade and song. Once more, deft fingertips idly passed over the hilt of the crimson tinted blade more in caution than in any hostility. With Drauth's voice offering to explain the Neurodrive, she cocked her head slightly to the side and let her body shift to lean backward, leaning against her palms to balance. Golden hues caught crimson pools once more, and at that point, a gentle hint of pink added in against the light tan of her cheeks.

So Neurodrive was an enhancer. Not just a basic enhancer, but it was specifically for combat? It made sense that Belsith was completely fine with the two dueling and even more with him pushing them to use it while they brawled. Her eyes closed for a moment as she took in a deep breath, then opened them as she pushed that deep breath out. Not only was it a combat enhancer, but it was new on the market and needed to be tested. Talented fighters, huh? For all anyone knew, she carried the curved swords around for an intimidation factor. Obviously it hadn't worked in this case, but who knew. She smirked a little at that idea, though tossed it aside as the soft hiss and dark words probed at her mind.

She didn't know whether to really pipe up and say anything about it quite yet, but surely her living weapon did.

Still with your little charade of a tea party, girl? Why don't you request one of those enhancements?

I don't need an enhancer, especially one that possibly and probably has some sort of horrible side effect or mutation after taking it. No one asked you, anyway, so hush. I'm enjoying the company besides your smart remarks.

Knowing the relationship between the merchant and this distributor now, she brushed a hand lightly through her obsidian locks and offered a subtle sign to her hidden companion in the brush that the situation wasn't hostile and that he was more than welcome to come join the growing group.
