How did You learn of Rasputina?

My friend didn't like Evanescence too much and i was obsessed with them so she was trying to find bands to replace them with and Rasputina was one of them... and overtook them... but i still love Evanescence xd

Anyone know of Emily the Strange? Back in 2004, "Frustration Plantation" was being released. The Emily the Strange website had a contest where you could win all this cool Rasputina merchandise in honor of their new CD coming out. They had some of their music featured on the site. The first song I heard by them was "Doomsday Averted". It's still my favorite today! cool

I heard of them (first song - Gingerbread Coffin) from a friend, who heard of them from a friend from Georgia. Random, non? Ever since, Rasputina has been one of my favourite bands =)
