Demo 3:08 pm
(3:08:40 PM): Gavivi was bored again. It seemed constant now that boss and lady-boss were getting along so well, and they didn't want her hanging around outside their den. Honestly, she didn't mind so much about the weird noises they made, it didn't really bother her. She just wished they'd give her something to do other than, "Go away and don't bother us for a while."
She didn't like it when they told her that. But at least today the orders had made more sense, "Go and patrol the boarder." That she could do. That was something she could do well! Because it meant she could hurt and kill anything that came close. And Gavivi liked hurting things. She liked killing things. She liked doing good things for boss. Boss was a good lion.

(4:03:38 PM): Ago was stumbling along, nose to the ground as he often did when he was just wandering. Although he knew it was unlikely he couldn't help but think that maybe one day he'd find a scent that was familiar to him. One that triggered a memory or lead him back home.
He was so caught up in that day dream that when the scent of a nearby pride started becoming more prevalient he didn't take notice.

(4:08:57 PM): When Gavivi laid eyes on the creature she didn't know what to think. Some kind of dog-thing...? She had no idea what it was. She had seen dogs before, from afar... sort of, but she still didn't know much about them. They were so funny looking! She wanted to look at it.
She stpped forward, tilting her head a little, "Hello... dog-thing." She called him, trying to get a better sense of who exactly he was. How funny looking he seemed to be!

(4:17:09 PM): He lifted his head suddenly, surprised to hear the strange voice adressing him. As he did he caught the strong scent of the pride on the wind.
Oh s**t, his mind went blank. Just how deep into pride territory am I?
He hesitated a moment, weighing the possibility of running and getting caught against staying and being surrounded.
He only smelt one lioness though, so he took his chances with staying.
"Hello," he replied, trying to sound confidant. "I seem to be a bit lost..."

(4:22:16 PM): "Lost?" Gavivi tilted her head, looking thoughtfully at him, "Oh, I don't care so much about that. What are you dog-thing, and why have you come all the way in here?" The large lioness' voice was curious though, not angry in the slightest.
She was curious, this much was clear. She wanted to know who he was, and exactly what it was that he was going to do. She had never gotten to talk to a dog thing before! It was going to make things so much more fun!

(4:40:05 PM): "What am I?" well, she seemed friendly at least. As long as he remembered to keep sniffing for others he figured he'd be safe enough. "I'm a wild dog. Have you never met a wild dog before?"
He kept his distance though. The lioness had the size advantage on him so if she decided to destroy him she would probably be able to do so with minimal opposition.
"I'm looking for my pack," he answered. "I suppose I was day dreaming a bit as I wandered."

(4:45:23 PM): "I've seen dog things before... but never spoken to one." Gavivi said, sitting up a little more. Good! He was going to talk to her and not run away. If he had run, she would only have to chase him, and what good would that be? Well, it would be fun for a while. Until she killed him, and then she would just be bored again.
"Do dogs live in packs? I've never talked to dogs before. Dog seems nice though." Gavivi said, her language as simple as ever. "What do I call you dog-thing?"

(5:58:29 PM): "You haven't?" he asked, honestly curious. It didn't seem like the sort of thing someone who wanted to eat him would say.
"Glad to be of service then? My name is Agoyohhh..." he paused looking her over. "Just call me Ago. And yes. Dogs live in packs. It's like a pride but..." he tilted his head. "I don't really know. I've never lived in a pride."

(6:04:33 PM): "I'm Gavivi. I've alwyas lived in a pride though, my boss took me in." Gvaivi nodded enthusiasticly, "I think prides and packs are probably the same thing." She mentioned with no idea what the difference would be. They should be the same shouldn't they?
"I hope you find yours then. But what do wild dogs do?" She asked, curious about what exactly the dogs would be like, "They must be different than lions. You all look so funny."

(6:13:37 PM): "Oh, so there is a pride here? I'd better back track a bit then. Could you tell me where the boarders are?"
He paused for a moment, looking her over.
"Guess we look funny," he looked her over. Yup, wouldn't want to dissagree with that. "Don't have big manes like your males do... I'm not sure we do much else different though. We hunt and sleep and have pups and fight off rivals and threats. That's more or less what lions do, right?"

(6:24:10 PM): "Huh? Oh. Yeah." Gavivi nodded, walking towards the boarder, "I need to go there anyway. Boss wants the pride kept safe, so I kill things on the boarder if they try to get inside." Which seemed to make Ayo an exception to the rule, since she wasn't killing him.
"You have different ears and tails too." Gavivi said, seeming to be extremely pleased that she had managed to make the assessment all by herself. "But yeah... we do all that stuff too."

(6:33:04 PM): He nodded in agreement about the ears and tails, "And we're smaller." He looked her over yet again. "A lot smaller."
"I'll tag along with you then!" he smiled. "Always frightning when one realizes they've wandered too far into someone else's packland or prideland without realizing. Could get your throat torn out just for looking at the locals the wrong way, you know?" He was sounding downright chipper now. After all he was being shown to safty by the same guard who had technicaly been sent to kill him! Maybe this was one of those especialy kind prides.

(6:40:49 PM): "Oh of course." She smiled, sounding perfectly thrilled with the idea of murdering someone, "I'm usually the one who does it for Boss when things go wrong and bad people get inside." Gavivi said, seeming positivly thrilled by the idea. "I've torn out throats and limbs off... lots of fun you know? The Boss likes it when I drive other lions away."
It was a good time of course! But that was for lions, not funny dog-things. She rather liked the dog-thing.

(6:59:58 PM): Yeah, he realized, this would certainly be one of the locals doing the tearing. Still though. She was being civil so in his mind there was still a good chance that her pride was peaceful and well meaning. In fact it seemed like the most likely idea.
"Sure, it's good to drive rivals away. They might steal your mate or kill your pups! That's no good!" he bit his tongue once that was said though. Hungry lions occasionaly raided wild dog litters and vice versa. That wasn't why he was there though and he didn't want to show himself in that light.
"I'm sure you do a great job protecting your pride," he beamed.

(7:04:53 PM): "Oh, I don't protect the pride normally." Gavivi smiled, "My job is to protect the boss and the lady-boss. It's very important for me to keep them safe." She told him, seeming very proud of herself, "No one has touched the boss since I'm around to protect him."
"I don't... care so much about the pride, just about the boss. He's my friend. Boss makes sure that everyone is safe." She said, nodding her head, smiling widely, "What did you do for your pack?"

(7:07:25 PM): "That sounds real nobel of you," he said, meaning every word.
"I don't remember what I did in my pack. I mean, I remember that I had a pack but the rest is real fuzzy. It'd hard to explain. I'm hoping that when I find them again I'll start remembering those sorts of things but for now I'll have to keep looking."

(7:16:30 PM): Gavivi shrugged, leading him to the edge of the pride and shooing him away, "I hope you find them then. But you shouldn't come back here again, dog-thing. If you do, I'll have to tear out your throat too. Boss doesn't like it when little things sneak in here. And I hope you find your pack. They'd be glad to have you, I'm sure."
1/3: Suddenly wide eyed and frightened, Ago turned and fled.
