The Dragon Knights

There are 20 Dragon Knights. Also, you can see which positions are open here. Follow this key:

Note: When you become a knight, you will not be able to use all of your powers. Each knight will have a power they will know from the start at the beginning of thier powers list. Ex: Wisdoms first power is Telekinesis. The knight would learn phase shifting a bit later.

Dragon Officers

The Dragon Officers were trained by the Jal'Rusai's king to help train the Dragon Knights. They were put through a tough class, one for each Dragon Knight and the top of each class were assigned to the corresponding Knight. They know more about the powers and correct usage than the Knights, but without the bond of a dragon, they cannot utilize these powers very easily. They are also trained very well in combat. Once they are assigned a Knight, they have the option to have a similar weapon to the Knight or one of their own.

Most Officers may be a bit stronger compared to beginner Knights, as in Knights that aren't from Ithranna.

The Dragons

There are 16 special dragons that will choose a person to become their Knight. They appear only when the Knight is chosen. These Dragons are hidden, inside a cave, on top of a mountain, deep in a volcano and must be freed by only the designated person. Once they find the right person, they will call out to the future Knight so they can locate them. Once the Dragon and Knight find eachother, the two will bond their minds and soul. This gives them the ability of telepathy and empathy, and seeing into eachothers mind and eyes. Once formed, the bond cannot be broken. The Dragon and the Knight are the two halves that unlock eachother's powers. The two must be present if the Knight is to utilize any of thier powers. The dragons are normally small, about the size of a parrot. In battle, however, they can transform to a larger size.

These are the kinds of races you can RP as, though there are many other creatures in Jal'Rusai.

Humans
The most common race in Jal'Rusai. They are one of the smartest of all races and have the best psychic capability.

Sepharic Angel-warrior angel
These angels have the second longest life span of all races, but age very slowly. One that may be about a millenia old may only look about 18-20. They have a great potential for physical strength.

They posses the longest life span of all races, and like the Sepharic angel, they age very slowly. Their specialty lies in magic.

Demon
There are many kinds of demons. There are the normal run of the mill demon, there are elemental demons, and there are animal demons. These creatures are often on the side of evil, with the exception demons that have mixed blood. Like a demon/human breed.

Elf
These are your normal, run of the mill elves. Like all elves, they have a high potential for magic. The 2nd most common species, these people can master nearly every kind of magic. Most elves, including Light, Dark, Sun and Moon, are gathered around the Elvin Country known as Trigganth. The fabled White city lies there. In elvin society, there are High Elves, which are the elder elves.

Light Elf
These elves have ascended to the Light and master Light and Spirit magic. Thier magic strength is unmatched by the other elves. They pity all those who have fallen to the darkness and will try to bring them back to the light. Their appearance are often pale colored hair and pale skin. They have blue or green eyes with a soft, caring look. They have strong alligencies with angels and humans.

Dark Elf
They are the elves that have fallen to darkness and are the only evil ones. Like demons, full breeds will not be chosen as Dragon Knights. They have mastery of Dark and Void magic and they have unparalleled physical strength among the four Elven races. They hate any form of light and will try to destroy it. They have black or white hair and a pale face. Their eyes are normaly brown, but may be red, orange or yellow. They have sharp cut features. They have formed many alligences with demons on the hostile side of the Dragon Knights.

Sun Elf
Elves that get stronger based on how much sunlight is present are known as the Sun Elves. They are very scholarly. They have the best psychic potential between the four races of elves. They are refined and proud. They hate to be critized or admit defeat from other races. They disregard humans and ancients, get along really well with angles, pixies and nymphs. The look down on moon elves and hate demons and vampires. They are scrict about hospitality and manners. They are hard workers, usually working as merchants, healers, priests and artisans. Not exactly one to fight with their hands like the moon elves, they use their psychic powers with a bit of magic. They posses a cool, calm aura.
They tend to have varying shades of blue and different shades of silver, grey, hazel, chestnut brown eyes with blonde, white, and black hair.

Moon Elf
Just like the Sun Elves, Moon Elves gain power based on moon cycles. The closer the moon, the stronger. They are the fighters of the elves and are very agile and have an excellent night vision. They have a high potential for spiritual magic such as Spirit and Nature. They are known throughout Jal'Rusai as some of the best blacksmiths of some of the finest blades and most durable armor. Along with the skill of making weapons, the Moon Elves are very skilled at weilding them. This makes them some of the best choices for assassins, soldiers, warriors and hunters. Often confused with Dark Elves. Differences between the two elves include strength and speed and facial features. These elves posses a energetic and exotic aura. They usually have differing shades of blonde, reddish, white, silver, or black hair. Their eyes are often light to dark green, different shades of gold, silver, or ranging shades of blue.

Vampires
No one can be a full vampire. These creatures are very rare. Any of the ones found are hunted. Half breeds such as Human/vampire crosses are not reliant on blood or incapable of exposure of the sun, though it makes them a bit weaker.

Anthros
Anthros are a breed of half animal half humans such as cathuman or doghuman. They often have the attributes of the animals they look like. (PM shade underling or draconoclaw for weather or not your anthro idea is ok)

Nymphs
Nymphs are very tall and spiritual creatures towering at 7 to 8 feet. They are excellent mages follow a path to enlightenment. Nymphs try to bring peace to the world using their powers. They don't like large crowds or cities and can be reclusive. Most are very beautiful.

Ancients
Ancients are a very powerful race and are rare in Jal'Rusai. Most can live a few centuries and can have a blue tattoo of some sort. Every Ancient has black wings that are sometimes streaked with another color. Like vampires, they too have fangs but they cannot stand the taste of blood. They are armed with large strenght and a good potential for magic.

Pixies
Ranging from 5 to 8 inches tall, these pint sized creatures are masters of elemental magic, reaching magnitudes that elves and demons could only dream to even come close to utilizing. They aren't particularly ones for physical fighting and most can be defeated with you take away its magic. They have a tiny set of wings that they can stay floating on for hours, sometimes not having to touch the ground for a week.

Fairies
Reaching about 2 to 3 feet in height, faires are a magical force to be reckoned with. They don't posses too great strength and have large wings on which they fly. There are two other kinds: Black and White. White Faires are the holy ones with holy magic and the Black Faires are the unholy counterpart.

There's still no picture, but I can describe the more important spots.

Flures: This is where the ruler of Jal'Rusai, King Riyos resides. He is constantly dealing with the reoccuring threat of a demon uproar. This is why he started his search for the appropriate person to become the cheiftain. The country is the larges in Jal'Rusai, and is known for its markets and towns, which include the ever popular hot-spot, the Turnaya Bar.

Eyeral: Jager rules this part of the continent, the Dragon Knight Headquarters. The land is filled with wide open planes, perfect for training. Like most countries, the land has its own set of villagers and markets. Most of the residents are farmers or gatherers that are the best source for food in all of Jal'Rusai. Many animals also live in this diversly layed out land.

Trigganth: The elvin country, this is where most elves, faires, and pixies are found. There are many forests and the biggest of all is the Oyerion Forest, which also contains the fabled White City of the Elves. The lush forests also contain some of the cleanest water in Jal'Rusai. Like most areas, there are elvin markets and villages within the forest. But because most humans can't stand the infectious forest spores that may poison, burn, confuse, or make sleepy a human, they sometimes must leave Trigganth to market their goods.

Neidiera: This is the island country of Jal'Rusai. The people there are mostly human, but there are still other races such as fairy, elf, pixie, et cetera. The people here are excellent farmers and warriors, sailors and travelers. Because they're apart from Jal'Rusai, demons are a rarity. When one shows up, the people can often hold thier own. They have a strong community and markets that rival those in Flures.

Hithlia: The demon country is Hithlia. Nearly every kind of demon lies here, except for those that have mixed blood, which are cast out and rejected. They hate all creatures that are allianced with the Dragon Knights and King Riyos. They tame many creatures to aid them against the side of good, such as dragons and griffons and manticores. The kind of Dragon they often tame are Wyverns. The Demon army is massive, even for being the only country on the side of evil, including thier infamous air warriors, The Wyvern Riders. Smart people usually stay clear from this country, yet some go to perform a 'deal with a demon'. The ruling Demon King, Onihara, was killed recently by Jager and Jotyma. The now ruling Demon is none other than Jager's dark half, Eyotto.

The Dragon Knights of Ithranna.

Those who recall Jager's past know that he is not the first Dragon Knight. In the land of Ithranna, he was formerly part of the Dragon Knights of Ithranna, but Eyotto's arrival led to Jager's eventual exile from the land. A year after he left, the Demon King Raige had taken over. The Knights in Ithranna were separated, but some had fled to Jal'Rusai. However, some may not have been so lucky. These are the Knights from Ithranna:

Hoshi--Ithrannan Dragon Knight of Void (is now considered the Jal'Rusai Knight of Void because there was no Knight for that position prior to her arrival)
