So, Gaia has tattoos, what about us? Some guild members are of age to be able to get a tattoo, whether on our own or with our parents permission. I personally haven't really ever been interested in a tattoo, but lately I've been struck with the idea of getting one of a winged heart, despite my low tolerance for pain. How many of us have tattoos? Want them? Are against them? What would you get if you got one? Would it mean anything, or just be for fun? Where would you get it?

I've planned on getting four, but I'm starting to turn away from the idea. If I get one, I'm going to let my girl decide what and where, and then hopefully she trusts me enough to let me decide for her.

Jeff doesn't like the idea of getting a tattoo at all. He probably wouldn't be able to decide on something, though. I'm going to give mine some time, but I did find a design that I really really like, I'm just wary of the price this is the one I'd like to do (or something very similar, just less blue and red instead of pink) and I'd put it on my shoulder blade instead of my foot (looks like that would have been really painful)

Mine will either be on the upper part of my arm or on one side of my chest. I was going to put one on each of those places, but the appeal is starting to wear off.
My friend Lonny has a bar-code on the back of his neck. I used to be really envious, but it looks a little weird now and he has trouble with his employers because of it. His personality is abrasive enough without the tattoo's help.l

That's kinda cool. I know placement issues are big reasons to consider for me as well. I have two good examples for myself about them. My step-sister got a really cool dragon, but she got him on the top of her shoulder reaching down half-way to her elbow, so she has trouble hiding him at the office, because she works for a county convention center and they have official office polos that are a bit too short for him. A good friend of mine, Brian, also got a really cool tattoo, but he made sure to position his on his chest so that his giant American Eagle with American Flags are well hidden.

I have 3 pieces so far, a large piece on my thigh and then 2 nautical stars on either foot, the left one is red for port side and the right one is green for starboard side XD.
I have plans for at least 4 more as well, the next one will be coming within a week or two.
(I'll post pics when I'm feeling less lazy wink )
