A bright green Ulaya wondered the forests. The clouds were growing darker and darker. He knew that meant rain was coming. And he, he hated the rain. But this was only for the simple reason that the tip on his tail has a flame burning bright. No one really knew what might happen if water hit his tail. Would it go out? Or would it keep on burning like a bright star in the dark sky? No one knew, and he really didn't want to find out.

His tail held a few apples, as he couldn't hold them any other way. You could smell the apples slowly being cooked when they'd touch the fire. He didn't mind however, he just wanted to find shelter before the rain began to pour! He had rather gone home, so his parents wouldn't worry, but he knew he didn't have any time fore that. Not to mention he needed some away time from his family. Well, his brother actually. He got on Tori's nerves like no other, and didn't like to deal with him. However, Tori didn't have many close friends. He had met a few, but had never seen them again. Well, except Noelany, who was quite the meany. Oh well, he have to look for friends after the rain finished falling.

He finally spotted a cave! He was quite lucky! He'd rather take shelter under that then a tree that might accidentally burn down. The rain began to pour down! Tori jumped at the sudden rainfall and began to run towards the cave. Lucky for him, he ran pretty fast, thanks to his mother. He kept running, not noticing someone else run in. Hmmm~
He made his way in, shaking off the water that made his so wet.

"Ugh, grossss! Sstupid water!"

Tori hadn't noticed someone was there when he spoke, and jumped back when he noticed her. He looked at her for a second, poking her with his paw. "I don't think ssshe is dead... HEY! I KNOW HER!" He had finally remembered her from an encounter. She had burnt herself with the fire on his tail. But what had happened to her now? He had no idea what was going on with her now. But I suppose he could try to keep her warm with his tail. Unlike his brother, Tori was kind. Sure he was flirty, but he also knew how to be respectful around others. And when he had to do something important, like now. He didn't want the girl to freeze from the cold water. Soo, he curled up around her, letting his tail keep both of them warm. His tail dropped two apples next to the female kit, and Tori took one for himself. He began to nibble on the slightly cooked apple, as he waited for her to wake.

Tori continued to eat his apple as the girl began to scream. Giving her a smirk when she slipped and feel. He shook his head, watching the girl who seemed to be in pain. He really didn't know what to do with her. He oddly thought he was some sort of "munster". Of course he wasn't. Tori was quite the pleasant young gentleman. He gave a sigh, knowing he'd have to help her one way of another. He finished up his apple, then going over to help her.

"I'm not going to hurt you. You look far to week even if I wanted to, beautiful."

He put one her arms over his shoulder, knowing she couldn't give him much of a struggle. She seemed quite hurt, he didn't know why, but that wasn't much of his concern. Right now, all he could do was try to help her. He slowly and carefully dragged her deeper into the cave, away from the rain. His flame keep the cave lite and the both of them warm. He left her there for a second and went back to get the two apples he left behind. He scooped them up with his tail, and walked back over to her. He placed the apples in front of the kit, thinking she might be hungry, seeing as how she was whimpering. He then curled up around her, once again, trying to keep her warm. She seemed to be in worse shape then he had ever been. He tail moved back and forth in the air, keeping them warm.

"You should probably eat something, you seem warn out..."

"Why what, dear?"

He had no idea what she was asking about. If she was asking why he was helping her, why that was simple. He was a gentleman, and knew when he had to help someone in need. And she obviously need a lot of help, as it seemed. He let out a charming smile when mentioned she knew him from somewhere. He knew where he had met her before, and it saddened him that she didn't seem to have any recollection of where she knew him. He looked down at her burned arm, and remembered the whole day. He was quite disappointed at himself that day. But that was the past, and this was the present. Time to make up for it, I suppose.

"Just look down at your burnt paw. I was there that day..."

He gave a nod as he spoke, listening to the rest of what she had to say. She must've been to busy trying to run away from when to miss him finish his apple. Lucky for him, the core of his apple was still in the middle of the floor, from where he first lay. He'd surely get her to eat. But he let that pass his thoughts when she grunted that she wasn't beautiful. Well, Tori would completely say otherwise! Though he thought most Ulaya were beautiful. But that made no difference! Her tail was quite charming, not to mention those spots. He didn't get spots like his mother, his brother got those. Though, he rather liked the scaly parts on him, made him unique, yesh? ANYHOW! He thought she was quite charming and beautiful. And he was quite stubborn when it came to others trying to make him think otherwise.

"I have already eaten an apple. You were probably to busy trying to run away to see me," He pointed towards the apple core in the middle of the cave. "that was mine, darling. Another thing, would you settle for cute then?"

A mature laugh slightly escaped his mouth. Then giving her a wink. Tori was quite mature for just being a kit. But I suppose that's what came with him being all flirty. At least he wasn't over the top with inappropriate jokes and such. He might see that as rude, depending on what was being talked about. All he knew was, he didn't make 'em.

Tori gave her a smile when she answered his first question. Why was her beside her? Well that was a simple question to answer.

"Well, issn't it obviousss? You need warmth sso you wont freeze from the rain. Not only that, but you ssseem quite frail at the moment. You need help, yess?"

He gave a nod as he spoke. Tori was always good when someone needed help. He might throw a little flirting in there, but it couldn't be help. Not only that, but it was never over the top. However, he could sometimes get to distracted by the situation to even think about being all flirty. And this might end up being one of those times... She seemed to suddenly go on about something when he mentioned her arm. She was probably thinking about Noelany when she mentioned something about biting. But he had thought he took care of that. And then to hurt her? He didn't hurt anyone that day. He tried to help everyone that day, didn't he? Then she went on to basically call him MEAN? Tori mean? NEVER! Well, only to his brother, and other mean Ulaya. But he wasn't mean that day! What was she talking about?!

Tori sat up, as this female wanted to freeze, as it seemed. He took a second to think back over that day. He knew Noelany was there, but she had left. Koray was there... She must've been thinking about him! He was quite mean, and only having encountering her once... No wonder she could've gotten them mixed up. His tail moved back and forth in the air. He gave a yawn has he watched the girl in pain, scrambling all over the place. He waited for her to speak her last words, then he'd speak back...

"My dear, I'm ssure you have missstaken me for my brother. I would never be anything closse to mean around a beautiful girl like yoursself."

He gave her a sincere smile. I suppose even he could make some time for flirting in a situation like this. But nothing you could do about it, I suppose.

"Well I'm not 'no one', now am I?"

He watched her as she seemed to be thinking. I could understand how she might've mixed them up. That day was probably not one of the best days to be around. There was a lot of arguing, and it was quite hectic. Again, that was one of his more disappointing days. He blamed nothing on her. But when she began to cry, he didn't know what to do. He didn't mean to make her cry, and he hoped it wasn't her fault that she was crying. To him it seemed like stress was just getting to her. But I suppose all he could do now was try to comfort her. But he waited for her tears to slow down some. It's better not to say anything that might cause more crying. And with the mention of tears making her feel weak was quite false to Tori. He thought crying once in a while was good for others. To let everything out, and unwind. Maybe that was what she needed a good cry. He let out a sincere smile, to try to comfort her.

"It's okay to cry, dear. I think it's good if others do every now and then. Maybe that is just what you needed."

And then... She went on about not being beautiful once again. And once again, no matter how much she said she was, it wouldn't change his mind. There was probably no one in the world who could change Tori's perspective on what beauty was. And I mean NO ONE. Which was actually quite the nice quality to have, yesh!?

"Have you ever heard, 'Beauty is in the eye of the beholder'?" He gave her a more mature smile now, one of joy. "Well, I'm the beholder, and I say you're beautiful, and that can't be changed."

He waited for something else the kit might say. The smile still on his face. His tail moved back and forth, keeping the cave well lite and Tori warm. The rain didn't seem like it would let up any time soon. That didn't make him happy, as he didn't like water. But at least he had company.

Tori watched her as she seemed to be calming down. He was glad she was calming down. Even though Tori thought it was good to cry once in a while, he didn't like to see others cry. Seeing other's sad just makes you sad. Tori would usually feel quite uncomfortable with someone other then family laying beside him. But I suppose helping out another was more important then his uncomfortable habits. He didn't want the poor kit to freeze, now did he?

"A no one I am not, rather, I'm actually Tori."

He kept the mature smiles on his face as his tail moved back and forth. It was a bit odd how mature he was when he had to be, especially for just being a kit. Most kits, like his brother, didn't have much maturity in them. I suppose his father would be pleased with how he had turned out. But Tori just seemed to turn out that way. Being mature, and responsible when he had to be. He liked to flirt with all the pretty Ulaya around, but he was still quite smart, and could be serious. He had quite the personality.

"No, love. You don't have apologize or do anything to make up for anything. I ssuposse you giving me company here today isss payback enough."

Tori rather liked company, and would take that as payback rather then anything else. Plus, Tori never really wants anything anyway, so that'd probably be the best thing you could give him. Well. Unless you had some sweets hiding around. He oddly turns into a complete child when it came to sweets. I suppose there was his mother side in him. As she acted like a child all the time. Fun!

"Well, I'll take that a** a complement!"

Tori didn't mind being called odd at all. He knew his appearance was rather odd in itself. He also knew he was rather mature for his age, and found that odd himself. But he'd rather be the odd one out then the mediocre on in. Being odd to him only meant that he had an unusual personality they hadn't encountered before. And of course, there was nothing wrong with that. It's always good to meet other with different personalities!

Tori kept the smile on his face, and watched the rain. He didn't rather mind the rain, as long as he wasn't in it. It thought the sound of water was rather soothing. But he seemed to be quite scared off his tail going out. So he didn't want to get near water. Which might be odd to others, but he thought that made perfect sense. Either way, he wasn't going to go anywhere until the rain was completely done falling.

Tori continued to watch the pouring rain. He wondered how long it might fall. But his attention was redirected once Jeiyana put her head on his arm. He wasn't expecting her to do that. I suppose he was a bit surprised, but seemed to get over it quite fast. Once she mentioned he name, he gave her another smile.

"Jeiyana? That'ss a very beautiful name."

He nodded, as his attention was now back on the female. It seemed to him that her body could probably use all the rest it could get. And if the rain didn't stop soon, he'd probably have to stay there the night. He was sure he'd have much to explain if that were to happen. But I'd say it was quite the plausible excuse to not have been home.

He continued to look her over. He didn't want to move, as he didn't want to disturb her. Her was very kind, and oddly not caring to much about the close contact. He nodded again as she added another comment. But became a bit lost when when she cut off the next thing she was about to say. He just shrugged it off and listened again to what she was saying. He of course didn't think that Jei was defected. He was sure not one to judge someone.

"Defected or not, you sseem to make good company to me." A more playful smile appeared on his face.
