1. Information on Escape
Escape: A World at Your Fingertips is a virtual reality system built to make any videogame experience a hands-on one. Using a full-body suit, small fibres and charges run along delicate wires, allowing the player to feel anything and everything that happens in game, to an extent (Please note: any pain felt should be nothing up a small zap - if anything larger occurs, please contact the customer service line right away).
A helmet allows the player to see everything around them in a completely realistic environment, as well as allowing them to play with fellow players, and have coherent and full conversations with both players and NPCs alike. No more will characters stick to storyline scripts - what you do affects the game entirely. The player becomes the main character.
As well, there is a free range mode available to play, where the player can choose to have the environment and NPCs untouched by storyline settings, and can run free amongst the area of the game, allowing for private storylines to be played out.

Activating virtual equipment
Welcome to Escape "Whooooa...." Chelsea grinned as her eyes adjusted to the helmet, the visuals from her goggles coming in finally. Oddly enough though, as she looked down, she was dressed exactly the same as she'd come - Jeans and a tank top. It didn't feel at all like she was in a game. She simply felt like she was standing in a room.
Good graphics.
She took a step, waiting to feel the pull of the wires that wrapped her body in the suit - nothing. Satisfied, she looked around her location. A plain room, it appeared, complete with a few chairs, couches, a table... and a slushie machine? Across from her, mounted to the wall, however, was a large TV, which flickered on suddenly.
"Welcome to the lobby!" came a voice from the monitor, and Chelsea blinked in surprise. On the screen ahead, a brunette woman appeared, smiling. "Here you can invite friends to your party and choose your game!" The woman gestured with one hand, and a drop screen appeared beside her. "Then, choose your game from the list. Remember to follow Escape's rules, and be sure to have fun!" The woman on screen smiled brighter, a feat which Chelsea didn't think possible. Frankly, this woman was a little frightening. "If you have any questions, feel free to call upon be with the words 'Escape command help'. Buh Bye!'
With that, the woman blinked from view, leaving the list on screen. Curious, Chelsea stepped forward, sneakers making small scuffing noises as they brushed the tile underneath. The list was alphabetical, and had every game, movie and show she could think of.
"Heh... the Wiggles. How exciting would THAT be," she mumbled sarcastically to herself, scrolling through a few of the choices. A screen to the right abruptly broke her concentration, alerting her that 'Bobby' was online.
Quickly, before it disappeared, her hand reached out, touching the 'invite to party' button on the touchscreen.
Suppose I'll wait for the boy to arrive then. That is, if his damn connection doesn't die first.

Activating virtual equipment
Welcome to Escape "Hooooooly s**t." Bobby muttered to himself as he appeared in the lobby. He looked down at himself, he was wearing the same clothes he wore when he set up the equipment, a tight pair of jeans and a blue Hollister shirt. The graphics for this system were absolutely amazing, it looked as if absolutely everything was real, including himself.
"Welcome to the lobby!" A voice came from behind him, from the television directly. He quickly turned and saw that a woman filled the screen, shortly being interrupted before she could continue on with her introduction speech by a large envelope on the screen, stating that he had been invited by 'Chelsea' to join her group. The boy touched the small envelope that appeared in his field of vision, seeming to just float in the air. In an instant he appeared in a seemingly identical lobby room, the only thing that was different was Chelsea.
"Chelsea!" He shouted, moving towards her quickly to touch her arm, which felt exactly like the real thing. "This system is amazing! Everything seems so lifelike!" The boy was truly amazed, the Xbox 360 had nothing on this.
"What game are we going to play first? How many games are there exactly? Do you think they have old games and shows, like from the nineties and such? This is so exciting!" The boy had a million questions, none of which Chelsea could probably answer, seeing as she just got onto the system a minute or two before he had.

Chelsea laughed as Bobby appeared, eyes wide, mouth moving a mile a minute. "Well, Bobby," she said with a smirk, "If you had read the guide, you'd know the answer to all those questions."
She rested her weight on one foot, lifting one hand and ticking off fingers as she listed th answers. "I'll decide in a sec, there are hundreds of games, movies and shows, and yes, they have everything, even the old ones." She tossed a grin at him before moving back to the screen again.
"Now, to answer your first question more adequately, let's see...."
Her hand moved quickly, scrolling the list through with relative ease, before a finger shot out, stopping the list on one object.
Suddenly, the floor seemed to drop from underneath them, the white walls turning black and the furniture disappearing. As she fell, Chelsea could feel her suit ripple, and with interested eyes, she looked down to find her jeans and tank changing into more suitable clothing for the game she'd chosen.
Just as fast, her feet hit solid ground, and she crouched to absorb the blow - not that they could feel pain here. A small tingle ran up her tight-clad legs, and as she straightened out, her lips formed back into a smile. She seemed to be wearing a loose fitting jean jacket overtop a tight black tank, complete with tight black jeans. A holster was slung around her waist, and in her knee high boots, she could feel the form of a knife down her boot. Her long hair was up in a bun - suitable for what was about to come and grab for her in but a few moments.
Find the Lock Keys
Quickly, she unslung the pistol from her waist, already noticing scattered ammunition on the ground, as well as a few guns. "Welcome to Zombie Panic," she said with a wicked grin at Bobby behind her. "Seemed fitting. Better keep up, hmm? Don't wet yourself - I don't know how the suit will handle it."

Bobby rolled his eyes as Chelsea mentioned reading the guide, only losers read the actual guide to the system. Besides, he didn't have time, he had to set up the amazing system and get on or else Chelsea would have killed him.
He awaited as Chelsea chose their first game, he bet she would probably choose to go to either Sailor Moon or Kingdom Hearts to either make out with Tuxedo Mask or Riku. Would the girl ever realize that even here they were just pixels that would never love her or hold her or kiss her? Probably not.
Bobby's eyes widened as the floor gave in and they began to fall, the feeling was all too realistic, even for a game and the boy felt his stomach flip and turn as his hair whipped up, along with his cheeks. He let out a small yelp as they landed in what seemed to be an office lobby. An office lobby that looked all too familiar to him.
This was the bio tech map from Zombie Panic and they were the only two survivors that he could see. This did not look good. The game was frightening enough when he played it on his computer, but now that he was actually in the game he would probably suffer a heart attack.
"Chelsea, I hate you." He muttered, quickly moving to the front desk to grab the pistol ammo that always sat there at the beginning of the level, quickly stuffing it into the messenger bag that slung across his chest. "Let's go shoot us some zombies."

Chelsea cackled, moving quickly to run her way down the hall and towards the room with the low lights and the creepy arcade system in the corner.
"Find the keys, right? Then basement for the power, then hack the system... um..." she paused for a moment, trying to remember the order of events. "Then into the lab, get the anti-virus, and the heli-pad, right?"
She ran down the middle of the L shapped room - the zombies, she knew, had to break through the glass to get in, then enter through the big hall.
Which was two rooms away. The offices were between them - the offices where the keys should be.
"Split up or stick together?" she asked, picking up a SuperShotty from the floor, along with 2 rounds of bullets for it. She needed the weapons - the game had taken the privlidge of arming ehr with a crappy keyboard as a melee weapon.

"Yep, yep, we've gotta find the keys." Bobby confirmed as he followed Chelsea closely, basically riding her a**, adrenaline running through his veins as he looked left to right, keeping his guard up in case of a zombie attack. He nodded his head as Chelsea went on to list the events that took place in this level. "I think that's about right, we just gotta remember how to get around this place."
"If you leave me Chelsea Kaitlyn Cross, I will shoot you with this God damn pistol. We are sticking together no matter what." Even though Bobby said they would stick together as soon as Chelsea got attacked by a zombie he would probably run like hell, dropping all of his items and screaming, but he wasn't going to tell Chelsea that.

Chelsea didn't believe a word he said - if his previous computer gaming had been any record, he was gonna boot'er as soon as a zombie appeared, wheither she was with him or not.
"That would be a waste of good bullets, and you know it," she commented, continuing the smirk as she entered the offices and began weaving through the desks, crouched low.
However, in the distance, she could begin to hear the moans of the coming ghouls, and her heart began to race.

"I don't care if it's a waste of good bullets, Chelsea. I would be shooting for a good cause, your death." He grinned at her for a moment, before they entered the office. He knew this was close to where the zombies spawned and the low groans and moans confirmed that.
"Chelsea, I want to play a new game. Now. I want to be Sailor Moon and slice enemies with my tiara, not ******** zombies. Zombies don't die easily." Bobby whispered to her as he grabbed a grenade from one of the desks, stuffing it into his messenger bag, handing her the other one.

Chelsea grinned evilly, taking the grenade from Bobby and immediately pullng the pin. "FORE!" she yelled, as she placed her back against one of the cubby walls, tossing the grenade over her head and in the direction of the moaning. Mere seconds later, a loud 'BOOM' sounded, and at the top of her vision, she could see the words '3 down' appear.
Suppose it says that cause we're talking with smart NPCs, rather than people....
"So that's three, you little soon-to-be backstabber," she whispered, looking to Bobby with obvious delight at his fear towards the zombies. "The real question now is... how many ARE there?"
She looked over at one of the desks, and reached for the ammunition sitting there. "Bag's full of shotty ammo, by the way," she announced. "Now, as to those zombies... the keys are in the red hall or the big hall. 5 out of 6 times it's the second floor of the big hall, at least, in my experience."
She stood up straight, and immediately a zombie in the corner spotted her and groaned, right before she planted two rounds into it's head. Blue eyes surveyed the area quickly.
"Clear," she announced happily, briskly walking towards the double glass doors that would lead into the lab opening, where the stairs to the second floor were.
"You comin, zombie-bait?"

"b***h, are you INSANE?!" The boy shouted at her after she threw the grenade behind them. "You could have hit ME! I could have DIED!" Bobby took a deep breath, trying to calm his heart beat. "I really hope there aren't more than ten because...if there's more we're pretty much ********> He whispered back. "And I am not a backstabber, you crazy woman."
"Yeah, well, I've mostly found the keys in the red hall, but if you say they're in the big hall I'm following you. If you even try to split up with me a bullet is going in your leg so you will fall to the floor and the zombies can eat you." He grinned, obviously joking. If Chelsea tried to run, he would just follow her, screaming madly as the zombies chased them.
He couldn't help but let out a yelp as his female companion shot a zombie in the face. His mouth dropped as it fell to the floor. usually it was Chelsea who sucked at this game, but if it wasn't for her he would probably be dead at the moment. Well, in the game at least.
"Yes, I'm coming."

She chuckled under her breath. "Friendly fire is off," she smiled, hurrying through the doors and up the stairs. "Which means shoot me all you want - it won't matter a bi--AAAAAAAUGH"
She left a tingle in her arm, as a zombie appeared from around the corner and took a swipe. Instinctively, she brought up the Supershotty, sending off another round into the undead figure, which promptly dropped to the floor in ragdoll position. In the corner of her vision, a little plus sign appeared, quoting '65'.
"s**t," she mumbled, looking at the blood trickling down her injured arm. Although she only felt a tingle of the pain, she could still feel the run of the blood against her skin as it created a path to drip to the floor. Creepy.
"So I'm at 65 now, and I can remember as well why we normally let zombie-fodder run ahead of us," she grumbled, looking for a bottle of pills or a heath kit. None around - but there would likely be some in the Big Hall.
Keeping the shotgun up and at the ready, she glanced back at her friend with a half-smile. "But hey, at least it wasn't WhiTEY IS BEHIND YOU!" she screamed, immediately firing another round over the boys shoulder and into the approaching alpha zombie.
"RUN RUN RUUUUUN!"

Bobby screamed as soon as Chelsea did, shooting the gun off randomly into some windows. "CHELSEA! I WANT OUT OF THIS GAME NOW!" He held the small pistol as tight as he could, adrenaline pumping through his veins as he let out short breaths through his mouth, almost like panting. "This is the scariest s**t I have ever ******** experienced and it's not even real."
The boy froze for a second as Chelsea shouted that Whitey was behind him. He knew what Whitey meant, Whitey most always meant death. And who was the one hauling a**? It was his BFF Chelsea, of course.
"RUN ********, RUN!" He shouted, following the girl's actions as he shot over his own shoulder, unloading bullet after bullet into Whitey's pale, dead flesh.

As the white zombie finally went down, Chelsea booted it around the corner into the second story of the big hall, hearing Bobby scream behind her. "THE KEYS!" she yelled, heading into the first room, and fumbling in her bag for the flashlight.
Already, she could hear the groaning of more zombies.
As she pulled out the light source and switched it on, she broke out into light laughter. "Well hey, at least it's not Kujo, right?"
It was a well known fact that Chelsea almost never made it through that map alive. She had a tendency of falling into the poisonous water.
Her flashlight showing no signed of the red-clad keys, she headed for the next room. Only to stop dead center and look down below in surprise and fright. There, on the first floor of the lobby, was at least 15 more zombies.
"Well..." she lstrained a smile. "At least they're NPCs? They're not stupid enough to find us up here... maybe...."

"I KNOW ABOUT THE KEYS, DUMBSHIT! WE HAVE TO GET THEM TO TURN THE POWER ON!" Bobby yelled back at her, stumbling into the room after her.
He rolled her eyes as she said that at least it wasn't Kujo, he always made it through the map all the time, while she always fell in the first part of the map.
"We are never going to win this level. This is ******** insane." He groaned, pulling out his grenade and throwing it into the crowd of zombies below.
